Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Hearing this, Alka was slightly surprised and stood up to ask, ”Can it be done?”

If the divine essence of the treasure can be stripped away, that would certainly be much better.

They already held more than a dozen treasures, but some of the treasures admittedly had appearances that were not quite right, or rather, not quite fitting.

The Shadow Robe nodded and pointed to the towering Tower of the Furnace in the distance: ”You just need to throw the treasure into the furnace. However, to precisely strip out the divine essence and not completely strip it into a rule requires skilled operation.”

”Then I’ll leave this matter to you,” Alka said, looking at the Shadow Robe.

The Shadow Robe nodded but explained, ”Your Majesty, I must explain something to you in advance.

For treasures combined perfectly like this, it’s difficult to strip them, and it’s very likely they may strip directly into a rule.”

He was referring to the blood-colored cloak.

Then, picking up the belt, he said, ”Something like this is much easier to handle, because it is so fragile and simple.”

”Moreover, Your Majesty, there are no misty creatures here skilled at using the Tower of the Furnace.”

Hearing this, Alka frowned: ”Then where are there skilled users?”

The Shadow Robe shook his head and said: ”Those who are skilled at using the Tower of the Furnace must be powerful dream creatures that have survived since Ancient Times. Most of these creatures reside in those ancient kingdoms of the kings.”

The meaning was simple, it was telling Alka not to think about it.

The reason Alka’s kingdom was able to develop so well was entirely because he accepted Mirmi’s heritage.

But Mirmi himself was the one among all the Dream Kings who could be described as young.

His kingdom never even constructed a Tower of the Furnace, so how could there be skilled users?

However, the Shadow Robe changed his tone and said, ”I can control it finely, but I cannot guarantee it the first time.”

Hearing this, Alka approximately understood the point the Shadow Robe was getting at.

In simple terms, he knew the importance of treasures to the Real World, to Alka.

But the problem is, he hadn’t merged such things before, and if not well controlled, it could very likely fuse directly into a rule.

If it fuses into a rule, the rule will directly return to reality, back into the world.

This was obviously not what Alka wanted to see.

So he needed to use an item to improve his proficiency.

And this first treasure was very likely to be wasted, as it would be used as practice material.

Alka understood his meaning and nodded.

After thinking for a moment, he handed him the belt and said, ”Use this to practice.”

The reason for choosing the belt was that the previous user was a tall cultist with no facial features but a mouth on his belly.

And perhaps due to the overly simplistic fusion of this treasure, Alka could roughly see through the treasure’s abilities.

Like the blood-colored cloak and the gemstone, he could only understand a very vague outline.

Its ability was simple, to cause unknown changes in the flesh and blood. Similar to the realm of flesh and blood changes, it could completely enhance physical qualities and strengthen the perception of the five senses.

With deeper control or complete mastery, there should be more abilities.

The disappearance of facial features, and a mouth growing on the belly, was a consequence of bodily changes, and this thing might not be controllable.

For normal people, this could be considered a side effect.

So, he could only reluctantly let it become a sacrificial piece.

The other three pieces could all be considered useful, and actually, Alka somewhat wanted to use the perfectly fused cloak as a practice piece.

But as the Shadow Robe put it, being too perfectly fused, it is hard to enhance his proficiency with it. Because it is almost certain to be stripped into a rule.

Hearing Alka’s words, the Shadow Robe nodded.

”Then leave it to me.”

The Shadow Robe said, taking the three treasures with him as he left the platform where the throne was located and appeared by the furnace. Alka watched as he directly threw the belt in.

The entire process was smooth and unhesitant, watching the simple belt disappear in the furnace. Alka quietly turned away, disappearing into the world of the Dream Realm.

Still holding the blood-colored cloak.

...

Back in reality.

The Shadow of Dawn still sped across the sea.

In Alka’s hand was a folded cloak, which he had brought out from the Dream Realm.

The reason for bringing it out and not having handed it to the Shadow Robe was clear.

Because the Shadow Robe directly stated that this treasure should not be thought of for dismantlement.

Even after gaining proficiency, he would consider himself not that precise. Between overly perfect treasures, what’s needed is not proficiency, but absolute precision.

Simply put, to strip the divine essence from this treasure would be to gamble on luck.

Alka did not want to gamble on luck; since the combination was so perfect, this treasure did not need to be stripped.

But without stripping, the aura would remain.

It could only await the erosion of time.

A period of one or two years was indeed too long, and the reason he brought it up was that Alka wanted to conduct a small experiment.

At least the remaining aura wouldn’t stop others from testing compatibility.

Alka had already tested it, and none of these four treasures matched him.

The third treasure was indeed too difficult to match.

Sometimes one has to face such situations, like when Alka’s two treasures both find the new treasure not bad, but if the new treasure rejects one of them, it becomes unacceptable.
