Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Another bout of swaying came.

The group, who had just steadied their footing, couldn’t help but bend their knees a little again to brace themselves and steady body and mind.

Alka reached out and scooped Lucilia, who had slipped from his shoulder, into his hands.

If one looked from a macroscopic perspective, it would be clear.

The Sea of Moisture began its random drifting once more, but the Land of All Spirits that had separated from the Sea of Moisture was now firmly fixed in place.

The jolt just now had been the collision between the two, and might also be Their last point of contact.

A colossal structure of vines linking several real Islands together, a gigantic Island formed by that Combination, appeared upon the Endless Sea.

The Celestial Flower was now fully in bloom.

And the figure within it turned into a streak of flowing light that shot toward the sky and vanished without a trace.

The one who disappeared was precisely the Flower Fairy.

This action left all the Flower Children somewhat dazed, and panic began to spread among them.

At this moment the Great Gardener stepped forward.

”There is no need to panic, Flower Children. Our god has already awakened. She is going to her Divine Kingdom.

Pray with all your heart and you will feel the link between you and our god. Our god is with us.”

Hearing the Great Gardener’s guidance, the people below closed their eyes and began to pray sincerely. They really did seem to find a connection with their god, and one by one, relieved expressions appeared on their faces.

”Praise our god!”

”Praise our god!”

As the shouts rang out, more and more people joined in response.

”She should have been able to walk the earth, shouldn’t she? Where is she going now? To the Divine Kingdom?” Alka frowned slightly, puzzled.

At this stage, all the new gods of the Endless Sea were Divine who walked upon the earth.

They had almost all built land-based Divine Kingdoms within the range of Their original influence.

This allowed Them to fully leverage the advantages Their power granted.

If the Flower Fairy had stayed, it was foreseeable that the Land of All Spirits would have become yet another vast Empire.

The so-called Divine Kingdom in the sky was possessed only by the four gods.

Was it because the Flower Fairy was an ancient Divine revived from ages past?

Alka couldn’t make sense of it.

Standing beside him, Alati heard this, looked at him, and shook his head. ”No. Each of the four gods helping this olden Divine in Their own way isn’t because They’re on particularly good terms.”

Hearing this, Chadite beside them was just about to ask what he meant when Alati simply shook his head and walked away, clearly unwilling to go into detail.

”Putting it that way does make some sense. The Holy Mother offering help is understandable. From earlier documents and information we know the Holy Mother and the Flower Fairy seem to have been on fairly good terms.

But the other three Divine have no obvious reason to help, especially Life, who never got along with the Flower Fairy to begin with,” Jason summarized beside them.

Yet the fact was They had all come, Seeds of Life included.

”Looks like They might have had some sort of past connec—” Alka had just begun to speak when Lucilia, perched on his shoulder, clapped a hand over his mouth.

Because of this, Alka quietly closed his mouth.

Some things were enough just to know.

”Time to go,” Alka said, gazing at the great blooming Celestial Flower.

What he had seen today—whether it would be useful to him at this stage or not—had at least left him feeling he’d gained a lot.

”You’re leaving already? There’ll be a grand celebration today. You’re not staying?” Jilenna walked over and stood beside Alka and the others, asking.

Alka shook his head. ”We should get going. There’s still a lot we have to do.”

Hearing this, Jilenna nodded and didn’t try to insist.

She went to each of them in turn and gave them a hug as a farewell.

”I wish you a smooth journey. The gates of the Land of Fragrance will always be open to you. You will always be friends of the Flower Children.”

”Of course. This is a pretty great vacation spot, after all,” Alka said with a smile, looking around.

Because of the Flower Fairy’s recent awakening, the whole Land of Fragrance was nearly carpeted in blossoms of every color. One could also see the Flower sprites hovering around the Celestial Flower.

They seemed to have taken the Celestial Flower as their new home—these natural spirits born from the Flower Fairy’s revival.

Jilenna smiled, then took something from her waist and handed it to Alka.

It was a transparent glass bottle, about the size of a palm.

It looked utterly ordinary; aside from the clear glass material, it didn’t seem to have any special qualities.

”This is a token of thanks from the Great Gardener, a small gift. Please don’t refuse. The Great Gardener said you will make use of it.”

Hearing this, Alka took the glass bottle, then looked off into the distance.

He happened to see the white-bearded old man in the flower robe beneath the Celestial Flower. Feeling Alka’s gaze, the old man smiled and waved at him.

Alka also nodded back politely.

Then he lowered his gaze to the glass bottle in his hand.

The round body of the bottle narrowed at the neck and stretched out into a slender spout.

A cork stopper still had a little wildflower growing from it.

Alka narrowed his eyes slightly and blinked once.

He saw a glow emanating from the bottle, a blue outline wrapping around the glass.

A hidden piece of Magic Items, huh?

”All right then, I’ll accept this token of thanks. Thank the Great Gardener for me.”

With that he waved at Jilenna. ”Goodbye.”

”Goodbye!”

The group waved and headed out of the town.

Jilenna watched their backs until they vanished around the corner, then turned and went back beneath the Celestial Flower.

Alka and the others walked along the green streets, with masses of flowers blooming all around them.
