Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

The Swallow is sailing on the dark green surface of the water.

The group on the ship is currently seated around together, and the larger Pororo has had to move to the rear propulsion deck.

”The scent left by the ritual has already dissipated; it’s time to decide who will use this treasure.” Alka said, looking at the seed in his hand, after carefully examining it, he addressed the group.

The seed in his hand is from the treasure left by Meister, which they obtained a few days ago at the border of the Life and Death Boundary.

A treasure symbolizing spring.

It ought to have been used by his companions a few days ago, but unfortunately, the aura of the previous owner still lingered on it.

Because of the recent disconnection from the ritual, even though Meister hasn’t used it for long, there are still traces left.

Though faint, it would certainly have an impact.

So they waited several days for the scent to completely dissipate before handing it out for everyone to experiment with.

Narvi sat beside him, full of curiosity, as this could be said to be his first time witnessing someone mastering a treasure.

He also became more aware of how ridiculously extraordinary this group of Treasure Hunters was before him.

In a team of less than ten people, they had already mastered over ten treasures.

Who would believe that if they heard it?

Anyway, he definitely wouldn’t believe it himself; it completely shattered his worldview.

Looking at the scent that had been completely eliminated, the treasure seemed like an ordinary seed.

Alka gently placed it on his hand.

Magic Power infused into it.

As Magic Power surged in, the seed barely emitted a faint glow before a ruthless force struck it away.

It was caught mid-air by Juanlu, who was quick with his hands.

”What’s happening?” Chadite looked at Alka and asked puzzledly.

The crowd present could see that the reason the seed flew out was because Alka’s Magic Power impacted it, similar to deliberately throwing it away.

”I didn’t expect the Magic Power of the Star River to repel it so much, and the Mirror Surface also repelled it intensely. The combination of the two just knocked it right out.”

Alka smiled awkwardly and said.

With three treasures on him, one neither repelled nor accepted, the other two repelled it fiercely.

Although Alka had already decided to replace the Star River when given the chance, the Mirror Surface was also disliked.

Naturally, this treasure would not be suitable for him.

Juanlu casually handed the seed he caught to Julia beside him.

The previous owner of this treasure was also a Merfolk, just like Julia, once a follower of life.

Among them, Julia was most likely to become the owner of the treasure.

Yet they also knew that Julia already possessed a treasure; the key was whether she was compatible with this new treasure.

Julia, not delaying, placed the treasure in her hand.

A gentle Magic Power flowed from her palm, penetrating the seed.

However, the small seed was unappreciative, directly rejecting this Magic Power.

”It won’t work.” Julia shook her head regretfully. ”This seed rejects my treasure.”

Trying to master an auxiliary treasure was indeed complicated.

Sometimes you dislike me, or I dislike you.

Or, we both dislike each other.

Finding treasures that can mutually adapt in combination is difficult; even mastering two that don’t repel each other is very remarkable.

Then everyone began to take turns testing.

When Lucilia took it in her hand, it completely didn’t work.

Lucilia is perhaps the person next to Alka who finds it most challenging to find a suitable treasure.

After all, Lucilia wasn’t even initially an owner of a treasure but now possesses power due to being closely bound with the Bloody Team Banner.

Back then, they believed Lucilia could only own this one treasure forever, but having grown so much over time, she’s learned quite a lot.

To find a suitable treasure for Lucilia, it must be highly compatible with her.

The treasure must be a perfect match with the Bloody Team Banner for Lucilia to master it.

Even if they don’t repel each other, it won’t be enough.

It would have to be even more compatible than Alka’s Mirror Surface with the Dream Catcher.

Chadite took it but found it completely incompatible; it’s hard to find any compatibility between light and a seed.

Regarding Jason, it entirely depends on whether the treasure matches Ulu Liwus. Since Jason himself, even now, can be seen as not possessing any treasure, as long as it is a treasure, it can generally match with him.

But Ulu Liwus is different; she can be considered as a newly-born divine creature, with an inherent treasure within her. After she and Jason formed an extremely close contract, the two are treated as one.

And this treasure is clearly not compatible with the Divine Essence within Ulu Liwus.

When Juanlu obtained the treasure again and infused Magic Power, the seed emitted a verdant glow.

”The compatibility is decent.” Alka said with a smile upon seeing this.

The ability to infuse magic power indicates that the seed and Juanlu’s internal treasure, at least, do not repel each other.

Juanlu sensed the connection within, nodded: ”But it’s merely non-repulsive, not the best outcome.”

This meant that even if he possessed the treasure, the abilities of the two treasures likely wouldn’t complement each other, only at best remain undisruptive.

After roughly finishing this, he handed the seed to Pororo beside him.
