Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Chapter 572: Chapter 274: Controlling the Treasure

The voice of the White Mist Serpent suddenly appeared in Alka’s mind.

Upon hearing this, Alka, who was entirely focused on the pink mist, instantly felt a loss of control. His hands began to tremble violently. His body was unusually stiff, his eyebrows knitted together. The pressure from trying to annihilate a powerful Dream Realm entity was almost overwhelming him.

Facing the serpent’s proposal, Alka stopped contemplating and took action immediately.

”Dear Mother, Stone of All, Spirit of Kindness. In the fields of growth and nurturing, Stone Mother, please hear my request...”

Alka kept chanting the prayer, silently reciting it in his heart as well.

As the words emerged, a faint golden light, mixed with an ear of wheat as brilliant as gold, inexplicably appeared above. This sight made everyone below promptly bow their heads in reverence, assuming a prayerful stance.

The aura of the Holy Mother filled the area. She heard Alka’s prayers and responded. Jason and Chadite even started to silently recite the Holy Mother’s prayers.

The ear of wheat fell onto Alka’s head, slowly encircling it, and the golden light infused his body. The power that entered his body gathered into a thread of golden light. Alka controlled it with his hand, directing it to merge with the Dream Catcher’s Crystal Ball.

With the addition of this power, the wobbling sphere gradually steadied, and the pink mist began to spread again, until it fully enveloped the Red Deer, forming a massive pink cocoon like a mountain peak.

The giant cocoon started to compress. Inside, the enormous creature’s struggles created various bulges on the surface, making it seem as if it could break free from the pink mist at any moment.

A massive serpent’s tail suddenly struck. It hit the mist cocoon. However, the force didn’t affect the outer cocoon at all; instead, it transmitted directly inside, instantly shattering the red mist within.

Taking this opportunity, Alka swiftly controlled the compression process. Even within the Dream Realm, even with the Holy Mother’s blessing, Alka’s Energy began to decrease drastically.

The massive cocoon started to shrink visibly, until it became a huge, oval-shaped cocoon, only about five meters tall.

However, Alka frowned. The Treasure can digest it into a trophy. But my strength and the creature’s inside are too far apart; I can’t control it at all. Still, I can’t give up. Only I truly understand how rare an opportunity like this is.

Frowning and gritting his teeth, he took the Crystal Ball in his hand and placed the Dream Catcher Crystal Ball on the cocoon. The entire cocoon was absorbed into it, and a pink rope tied itself to Alka’s hand.

After completing all this, Alka finally breathed a sigh of relief and collapsed onto the ground. Chadite and the others immediately surrounded him.

”Don’t worry, I’m fine, just too tired.” Then he looked up at the White Mist Serpent in the sky. ”Thank you for your grace; I will remember it forever.”

Chadite and the others also expressed their gratitude.

The White Mist Serpent just nodded slightly, then turned into mist and disappeared into the sky.

With its disappearance, the entire Island began to shake. As it shook, Alka felt golden Energy flowing into his Dream Realm.

”This Island is returning to reality; we’re getting out of here,” Alka said. He wobbled to his feet, and Chadite immediately supported him.

Jason glanced at him and nodded towards the other side. Alka looked over. It was Kriel, still lying on the ground in Deep Sleep.

”What’s wrong with him?” Alka asked. He doesn’t look dead, Alka thought.

Balazs, who had already stood up, heard this and calmly said, ”The Guardian Spirit Serpent was summoned by him.”

”What?” Everyone was a bit surprised.

”If you don’t mind, could you tell us in detail what happened after we escaped?” Alka asked.

Balazs nodded; he had nothing to hide and began recounting the events to them.

After listening, Jason gently patted Balazs on the shoulder and nodded at him. Alka, however, looked at Kriel, who was lying there in Deep Sleep, and said, ”So there’s nothing we can do about him now? And once we return to reality, he’ll wake up immediately?”

Balazs nodded.

Chadite stood beside Kriel and tried to kick him, but his foot passed right through Kriel’s body, as if he were just an image. This made the situation difficult. According to Balazs, Kriel’s condition was still quite good, while their own conditions were already very poor. If they waited until they returned to reality and Kriel awakened, they would be as vulnerable as before.

Leaving now is the best choice, Alka thought. We just need to return to the ship beforehand, wait for the moment we return to reality, and leave quickly. We’ll sail aimlessly beyond the island chain; that will definitely guarantee our escape.

Seeing this, Alka turned to Balazs. ”What about you? What do you plan to do? Will you leave with us?”

Now was the best time to escape. They just needed to return to the ship in advance, wait for the moment they returned to reality, and then leave quickly. Sailing aimlessly beyond the island chain would absolutely guarantee their escape.

”My ship... it’s probably gone, right?” Though Balazs said this, there was a trace of hope in his voice.

Lucilia nodded; she had already heard news about it earlier.
