Treasure Hunting System： The Ocean Conquerer

Chapter 561: Chapter 270 Abnormality_2

”Neither Energy nor physical attacks have any effect.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Jason’s Fire Bullet had already passed through, but it was still useless.

However, Magic Power gathered in Jason’s right hand, and then he forcefully scattered over a dozen diamond-shaped transparent crystals.

The crystals he scattered spread out, enveloping and piercing the entire dream creature.

The crystals that pierced it solidified the surrounding distorted light and shadows into crystal.

Yet, it was still useless against the creature.

The three could only watch this dream creature and slowly retreat.

If even this didn’t work, their only option was to consider how to escape.

At this moment, the Crystal Dragon flying in the sky flapped its wings and descended. It charged towards the shadowy arm, which was formed from a combination of limbs, its open jaws spraying rainbow-colored Energy.

In the Dream Realm, the Energy scattered a brilliant, colorful light.

This time, it didn’t penetrate. Instead, the Energy converged on the shadowy arm, directly freezing it into crystal.

With a turn, the Crystal Dragon landed on a twisted tree, roaring towards the sky.

”ROAR!”

”We know you’re strong. Come down now.”

”Buji,” the Crystal Dragon called out, sliding down from the tree and crashing into Jason’s arms.

”It seems Ulu Liwus’s dragon breath is a very advanced form of Energy,” Simon said, crouching and tapping on the crystal beside him.

The shadow creature trapped inside the crystal was like a sculpture.

Juanlu glanced around, then turned his head and said, ”Let’s go quickly. We need to see if we can meet up with the others.”

The other two nodded in agreement.

Simon stood up and raised his right index finger, a Treasure, which emitted a glow as he closed his eyes.

He explained to the two, ”I’m checking the constructs I left in various places to see if there are any traces of the others, and also to see how Alka and his group are doing.”

Previously, when the surroundings had changed and forced them to stop moving, he had begun controlling the constructs he’d left behind, directing them towards Alka’s position to try and understand their situation.

A short while later, Simon opened his eyes, a smile on his face.

”How is it? Sounds like good news,” Jason said, inexplicably relieved as he looked at Simon’s smile.

Simon nodded. ”One of the constructs sent a message: Alka and the others have escaped.”

”That’s good.” Juanlu also smiled.

Since Alka’s group had escaped, they now needed to consider their own retreat, as they too were trapped on this Island.

Moreover, a powerful Fourth Stage expert on the Island was watching them menacingly; they couldn’t afford to be careless.

Thinking of this, Jason said, ”We should also leave quickly. Given Alka’s abilities, he should be like a fish in water in this place and might find us soon.”

...

Meanwhile, as Jason’s group walked and talked, Alka had already begun constructing the kind of detection device he used in his dreams, spreading Dream Energy detection ripples into the surroundings.

He wasn’t worried at all about his detection ripples being discovered by the General.

The Island was currently in utter chaos; such detection ripples flowed into it like a drop of water into the ocean, completely imperceptible.

Alka set the targets for the returning echoes to be any humanoid individuals 20 centimeters or taller.

This was because even the girls of the Puppet Legion were trapped on the Island.

”Let’s head this way; they’re over here,” Alka announced after receiving the feedback. He opened his eyes and quickly led the other two away.

The sooner they all gathered, the better.

After walking for only a short while, Alka frowned and stopped in his tracks.

”What’s wrong?” Chadite asked quickly when Alka stopped, then cautiously scanned their surroundings.

Alka frowned, carefully sensing the returning waves. ”Julia’s team has lost their way,” he said. ”They’re heading towards the General.”

”Then what should we do?” Lucilia asked anxiously.

Wouldn’t that be like sheep walking into a tiger’s den?

At this moment, Chadite had an idea and quickly turned to Lucilia. ”Since Alka can sense their location, he can also sense the positions of the Puppet Girls. We can tell these Puppet Girls their location and direction, and have them relay the message. This is the Dream Realm; using Flying Birds to deliver messages is useless here.”

The method was indeed feasible; Alka could sense the positions of the various Puppet Girl teams.

He quickly said, ”Have Lu and her team head towards the three o’clock position. Tell them to be careful of monsters; Julia and the others are in that direction. Have Team Nine advance straight ahead rapidly; Jason is not far from them.”

Hearing Alka’s words, Lucilia nodded and immediately relayed his instructions.

Sure enough, a moment later, the returning feedback indicated that the Puppet Girls had begun to move.

It wouldn’t be long before they could all meet up.

...

Meanwhile, Pororo and his team were cautiously advancing, bypassing any creatures that moved.

They had discovered that they had no way to deal with these Dream Realm creatures; their attacks couldn’t harm them in the slightest.

Left with no other choice, they could only flee and try their best to avoid encountering any Dream Realm creatures.

The problem was that as the Island was dragged further, the barriers between different spaces grew thinner, and more and more Dream Realm creatures emerged from all sorts of corners.

”Stop! Something’s coming,” Julia said, crouching down.

The mixture of Dream Energy and reality had significantly dulled her perception of her surroundings.

The three of them hid behind a massive, twisted rock, and Julia peeked out.

The huge Pororo, on the other hand, had to lie flat on the ground just to keep his body from being exposed.
