Dimensional Codex System: I'm really not a cultist!

Fang Zheng now feels completely OTL.

After all, look at it... saying facing the sea, warm flowers blooming in winter. From the majestic mountains and rivers, feeling the universe in nature, that’s so full of prestige.

But then you say... hey, a few days ago I flirted with a young girl, suddenly grasped the truth of the universe...

Could it be that I’m following the path of the Evil God?

Well, I can only say that I wasn’t lucky back then, ended up involved in a World of Love as a protagonist’s destiny. After all, you see, usually the protagonist in such worlds becomes explosive because of love... Anyway, it’s not important. No matter how, I’ve managed it. At least for now, Fang Zheng has found the first step in merging order with chaos to achieve control.

As for what to do next, just continue researching slowly.

Currently, let’s take a look at Xiang Yu’s situation.

As far as Xiang Yu is concerned, this war has turned into a nightmare.

A 400,000 strong army sounds grand, but if it collapses, it truly falls like a mountain. In fact, the ”air raid” conducted from a hot air balloon didn’t cause many casualties, if everyone could remain calm, there wasn’t entirely no way to cope. However, with the sudden appearance of the air raid and the arrival of ”armored vehicles” from behind, it completely panicked the army. Accompanying the massive fleeing of soldiers, even those who wanted to regroup were powerless.

Of course, Xiang Yu was quite smart, ordering the army to hide in the forest. However, Fang Zheng clearly had prepared countermeasures, throwing a few fire grenades, directly resulting in a mountain fire, causing most of the army not to die under air raids and armored vehicles, but rather be burned alive by the flames.

In addition, the greatest loss for Xiang Yu was the feudal lords. You should know that during the attack on Hangu Pass, for safety measures and having no defense against air raids in mind, almost all commanders of the Feudal Lords’ Army set up their camps on the high ground behind the army. However, they ended up becoming targets for the air raid. The first round of air raids was aimed at those camps, resulting in the feudal lords’ unexpected deaths in significant numbers.

A leaderless situation combined with a sudden air raid, armored vehicles, and fire attacks, the 400,000-strong army completely collapsed. Many soldiers chose to surrender directly, while nearly more than half of the remaining were burned to death in the forest fire. The escape with Xiang Yu saw less than one in ten survive, demonstrating extreme tragedy.

”Ha ah.........”

Xiang Yu walked to the riverbank, reached out and washed his face with water, then lifted his head to look around. All he saw were soldiers exhausted, few still standing unscathed on the ground, most sat on the ground silently. Occasionally, far off cries of the wounded could be heard.

Couldn’t have imagined, his 400,000 men unable to conquer Hangu Pass defended by 40,000, yet beaten into this sorry state by the enemy.

Previously, Xiang Yu could never have imagined such an event occurring, but now...

At this moment, suddenly a hand handed a cup to Xiang Yu.

”Have a drink?”

Upon hearing this voice, Xiang Yu hesitated for a moment, took the cup, and then turned to look, only to see Fang Zheng standing beside him, smiling at him.

”Young Master Fang...”

”How do you feel now? I didn’t go back on my word.”

”Of course, Xiang Yu must thank Young Master Fang for sparing my life.”

Though Xiang Yu sounded thankful, obviously he was displeased, speaking in a hard tone. But Fang Zheng didn’t care about that, just chuckled lightly, sitting on a nearby stone.

”Alright then, tell me, after this war, do you have any thoughts?”

”............”

Xiang Yu didn’t reply, but rather sat on another stone beside Fang Zheng, gazing silently at the cup in his hand.

”Isn’t it hard to accept? Your martial prowess is extraordinary, unmatched, yet you were beaten by a group of no-name soldiers. Have you ever thought about why those soldiers, with less strength, less speed, and without the powerful martial skills and inner strength you possess, could chase you all over?”

”Because... of those strange things.”

”That’s the power of intelligence.”

Fang Zheng reached out and patted Xiang Yu’s shoulder.

”See, like the armor you wear, the weapons you use, these are also born of intelligence; humans learned to smelt iron and forge swords to create armor, to forge sharp swords that cut through iron like clay. Otherwise, you’d be like the Ancient Era ancestors, wearing fur and wielding stone axes, roaring and shouting. Do you understand?”

”But......”

Xiang Yu is not foolish, he doesn’t fail to grasp Fang Zheng’s meaning, but he couldn’t accept this perspective.

”Of course, I’m not saying the role of personal martial prowess will be erased, but certainly diminished, that’s the trend and tide...”

Saying this, Fang Zheng shrugged, even though it’s as he said, this is a trend and tendency, there are exceptions. Once a deity or immortal, possessing transcendent power, then mortal strength becomes no issue.

But this has little relevance to Xiang Yu.

”Moreover, martial prowess alone cannot solve everything, otherwise, many generals wouldn’t have been harmed by traitors in the court, alright... My words end here, I’ll give you a night to make up your mind. I advise you not to be stubborn, it benefits neither of us.”

Upon hearing this, Xiang Yu said nothing; instead, he just lowered his head and looked at the wine cup in his hand. After a good while, Xiang Yu seemed to make a decision, downed the wine in one gulp, then turned his head to look beside him———only to find the stone empty and devoid of people.

From this moment on, history changed.

In history, Xiang Yu ultimately committed suicide at the Wujing River; however, here, he struggled for only half the night before sending an envoy to surrender at Hangu Pass.

In fact, Xiang Yu was quite conflicted at first, but it was his wife Yu Ji who enlightened him. After hearing Xiang Yu narrate the causes and effects of the events, Yu Ji advised Xiang Yu that if Young Master Fang was truly an Immortal Being reincarnated, losing to him was not disgraceful. Even Immortals had to use those divine weapons crafted by their methods to battle him, which sufficiently demonstrated the Grand General’s prowess.

Ah, this made Xiang Yu very happy; on careful thought, it made sense. If Fang Zheng had used his original methods and soldiers to defeat him, it would mean Xiang Yu was nothing but a useless person. But now, even if Fang Zheng stated he wouldn’t act personally, hadn’t he created those magical and bizarre weapons?

In other words, even Immortals, if they don’t use weapons made with Immortal techniques, couldn’t defeat him.

Hmm, thinking this way, Xiang Yu’s mind became clear, and he had no more thoughts. After all, he knew his own situation well and recognized Fang Zheng as a true Immortal Being, so losing to Fang Zheng truly didn’t make him feel bad at all... Well, being chased and humiliated all the way naturally caused some displeasure.

However, with Yu Ji’s comfort, even that bit of displeasure was nothing.

With Xiang Yu’s surrender, Fang Zheng’s forces grew even larger. He did not immediately claim the throne but continued to hunt down the old six states’ Nobility—after all, history had proven that these old state nobles were the root of chaos; as long as they weren’t completely eliminated, they would remain a trouble!

If Qin Shi Huang had killed all the old six state Nobility back then, maybe Chen Sheng and Wu Guang’s rebellion would have been just another failed peasant uprising, and the Qin Dynasty wouldn’t have perished after just two generations.

Fang Zheng certainly would not repeat Qin Shi Huang’s mistakes.

Against these people, Fang Zheng wouldn’t be as courteous as he was with Xiang Yu, offering a ”fair duel”; he’d simply wipe them out.

Due to Fang Zheng’s stance towards the old six states’ Nobility, he didn’t gain the loyalty of the descendant of each state like Liu Bang did, but Fang Zheng didn’t need it because what he aimed to do was to completely eliminate the old noble system and enforce a brand-new system through reform.

A year later, after Fang Zheng eradicated all the old six states’ noble forces and successfully extinguished the six states’ restoration attempts, he finally ascended the throne and, to ”respect history,” kept the national title as ”Han,” just like in history. The imperial attire remained in the Qin Dynasty style. He canceled the enfeoffment system and fully established a centralized government system.

Unbelievable, I actually experienced this day.

Sitting on the throne, looking at the ministers below, listening to the attendants’ decrees and announcements around him, Fang Zheng couldn’t help but feel a quiet introspection. Although he had long anticipated this day, actually sitting on this seat still felt a bit surreal.

You tell me, I was just someone messing around with games, how did I end up becoming Emperor?

Yet, as Fang Zheng indulged in these random thoughts, suddenly he felt his whole body tremble. In the next moment, an unparalleled scorching aura emerged from the ground, merging with Fang Zheng. At the same time, the world in Fang Zheng’s eyes suddenly turned black and white!

What is this?

At this moment, Fang Zheng realized with surprise that his world was changing. The original hall, city, everything turned vague, replaced by countless flowing air streams. He could clearly feel the sky, earth, mountains, lakes, rivers; everything’s atmosphere was becoming indistinct, seemingly to merge into one...

Could it be... wait, this is not right!

As a Deity, Fang Zheng quickly understood what this meant. He had defined the world within ”reality,” and now, he had to redefine the world in ”non-reality!” Just like Pangu creating the heavens and earth, he needed to establish a new order within this Chaos!

Wait, isn’t this the Martial Hero World? You fiddle with it like this and it turns into the Immortal Hero World, I say!

However, now wasn’t the time for Fang Zheng to grumble in his heart because he could feel the Chaos Qi beneath was becoming more intense, like data asking for approval one after another. If he didn’t settle it quickly, chances were the whole system would crash!

Ugh... if that’s so... arise, Underworld!

With Fang Zheng’s shift in thought, the original chaotic land abruptly shimmered, followed by numerous pitch-black cities rising from the ground. The spirits that seemed swept by chaotic whirlpools gradually calmed down as a result.

All things have spirits, emotions, and nature. Rivers return to River God, seas return to Dragon King, mountains return to Mountain God.

Land Lord and City God, heed commands, prioritize virtue and action...

At this moment, Fang Zheng couldn’t be bothered with anything else. He was rapidly designing a new ”non-reality” social system. Thankfully, Fang Zheng had read novels like Strange Tales of Liaozhai and Journey to the West before, leaving him with some impression of Judges, City Gods, Land Lords, Mountain Gods, and others. Now, he hurriedly issued orders regarding them. In essence, it was necessary first to settle this damned non-reality Domain and then talk about other things!

Time passed second by second; no one knew how long it had been when, after the attendant loudly announced the rewards in the real world, Fang Zheng sitting on the throne finally opened his eyes, sighed lightly, and wiped the cold sweat in his heart.

Though somewhat rushed, fortunately, another world was finally settled.

Of course, this is just the framework; as for the finer details, they need to be filled in later... but these naturally aren’t important anymore.

However...

Thinking this, Fang Zheng’s expression turned a bit perplexed.

When I first arrived here, it should have just been a regular historical Martial Hero world. How did it start deviating towards an Immortal Hero world now?

Is it possibly due to me being a True God and becoming Emperor?
