Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

A moment later, the doors of the emergency room opened, and the three people sitting on the bench quickly stood up to greet the doctor, anxiously asking, ”Doctor! How is my mom?”

Everyone’s hearts were in their throats, their eyes focused intently on the sole doctor who emerged.

The doctor’s grave expression instantly filled everyone with an extreme sense of unease.

”Here’s the situation, during the surgery, the patient lost a lot of blood and needs a transfusion,” the doctor, who had come out to wait for the blood, said. ”The blood bank is in the process of delivering it.”

Still need the blood bank to deliver??

”Use mine!!” Janelle was desperately anxious, pleading with tears in her eyes, ”She’s my mom! I’m healthy! I have blood! I donate blood every year out of kindness!”

Trevor held her shoulders tightly, feeling a great deal of heartache.

”By rights, close relatives shouldn’t donate blood, there could be a rejection reaction.” The doctor, understanding the young girl’s emotions, calmly told her, ”We’ve already contacted the blood bank, it will be here soon.”

”How soon is soon? Is the blood bank far? Will there be a traffic jam? Can my mom hold on?” Janelle nearly collapsed, grasping the doctor’s arm, desperately pleading, ”I’m O type blood! Isn’t O type the universal blood type? Why can’t I save my mom?”

”You’re O type blood?” The doctor’s tone had a hint of surprise, looking at her, then at the middle-aged man beside her, she said, ”But the patient is AB type.”

Nathan Mills’ heart sank heavily!

”Is there a problem?” the girl asked, puzzled, ”Please don’t waste time! Let me give my mom blood! I’m universal blood! I can definitely save her!”

Having depended on each other since childhood, she didn’t know what else she could do for Sister Sterling, and at this moment, there was a deep regret and fear of wanting to care but finding no time.

She was truly frightened, it was a brain tumor after all.

The doctor thought for a moment, ”I’ll give you a blood test first and then do the transfusion.” She too was racing against time.

Nathan Mills reached out to grab the doctor’s arm, his gaze firm, ”She is O type blood! I am sure! Don’t waste any more time, don’t test, hurry and save her!!”

The doctor saw something in his insistent and anxious eyes, and then said to Janelle, ”Come with me.”

Janelle followed the doctor into the emergency room.

Watching his daughter’s back, Nathan Mills felt a sudden realization in his heart.

Today, the emergency for AB type blood at the hospital was due to a serious car accident, with six or seven casualties, five of whom lost a lot of blood, and they were all AB type, what a coincidence!

With the emergency room door closed, only Trevor and Nathan Mills were left outside.

Trevor, after calm and collected thinking, felt the shock slowly crawling into his heart. He turned his eyes slowly and happened to meet Old Mills’ gaze.

Old Mills looked at him, knowing that Trevor had sensed something, he felt like there was a lump in his throat.

The two men exchanged a look full of emotion, maybe organizing a lot of words in their minds, but neither spoke.

Trevor chose not to ask anything at this moment, and Old Mills also didn’t know how to start explaining, as it was too complex to clarify briefly.

All that could be said was that everything had happened too suddenly.

Originally, he thought he could hide the truth about their backgrounds for a lifetime...

Janelle finished the blood test, and the result came quickly, confirming her as O type blood, and her blood quality was good and met the standards for donating.

So, a nurse came to draw blood urgently, ”Roll up your sleeve.”

She complied, ”Doctor, how likely is it for a close relative’s blood transfusion to have a rejection?” In the small room next to the emergency room, Janelle was very worried about her mother, she asked nervously and cautiously.

”Don’t worry, you’re not a close relative.” the nurse drawing blood casually replied to her.

”She is my mom, not a close relative?” she emphasized.

The nurse looked at her, and asked softly, ”Not your biological mother, right?”

Janelle was bewildered by the question, a bit unclear about the situation. The nurse told her again, ”A mother with AB type can’t have a child with O type blood.”
