Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Trevor smiled without speaking, directly holding the thermos bowl and drank the last mouthful of soup.

”Hey!” Janelle reached out but couldn’t stop him, he tilted his head and drank it all down.

Janelle didn’t have time to feel embarrassed; instead, she felt quite sorry, ”Why are you making it difficult for yourself? It doesn’t have any taste; you could have chosen not to drink it!”

”Not adding salt doesn’t affect the nutritional value; this is the first time you made soup, it’s such an honor to drink it.” Trevor put down the bowl and spoon, took a napkin to wipe his lips, and then took her hand, ”Come sit here, I have something to tell you.”

”What is it?”

Janelle sat next to him, turning her eyes nervously, ”Will I be disturbing you like this? I don’t have an appointment, your schedule should be very full, right?”

Trevor shook his head with a smile, ”No, you can come find me anytime in the future, I’ll tell the receptionist right away.”

”...” Faced with the man’s deep and gentle gaze, she smiled!

Trevor looked at her tenderly, spoke seriously, ”Janelle, if any woman tries to harm our relationship in the future, or makes you feel uncomfortable, if you think she’s malicious, or you believe she’s a rival in love, an admirer of mine, you must tell me.”

”Huh?” Honestly, Janelle didn’t quite understand, ”What do you mean?”

”If someone makes you unhappy or uncomfortable, you must tell me, don’t handle it yourself.” Trevor used an example for her, ”Just like that Freyne woman downstairs, did anything she say bother you?”

Janelle recalled for a moment, then laughed, ”Did Simon tell you?”

”I’m asking you, did she bother you?” Trevor asked seriously, treating the matter as something important.

Then she nodded and said kindly, ”Just a little bit, she probably likes you, right?”

”But I don’t like her,” Trevor said firmly, ”Rest assured, you won’t see her again, and obviously, I won’t see her again either.”

”...” Janelle looked at him, shaking her head, ”I really don’t get what you mean.”

”Are you genuinely clueless or just pretending?” Trevor tapped her forehead with his long fingers, ”Still not getting it?”

The girl leaned back, playfully saying, ”It hurts! Be gentle! I truly don’t understand, you need to patiently explain, why bring this up all of a sudden?”

”Janelle.” Trevor held her shoulders and spoke seriously, ”Since we’re together, I’ll do my best to protect you.”

A serious declaration that left Janelle a little at a loss, but also feeling very happy.

”There won’t be any trouble because of me.” Trevor said, ”Vera’s just one example; I’m not inferior to Ian Shelby, there will certainly be girls who like me, whether in or out of the company, once you notice them, you tell me immediately, I’ll handle it.”

She was surprised, ”You... you’re really giving a lot of emotional security!” Janelle couldn’t help but give him a thumbs-up, ”Alright! From now on, our President Trevor will handle all the drama queens and gold-diggers!”

”Because I’m afraid of losing, and because... I truly care about you.” Trevor was someone who lacked security; he pinched her cheek, ”Although I haven’t dated anyone, I’ve learned from others, running a business and being in a relationship should be the same, both require sincerity, then you clear the obstacles and prevent potential problems.”
