Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

Can’t see clearly.

But it doesn’t stop them from running away.

So they thump thump thump up the stairs.

Just as they run upstairs, the stairwell door upstairs is blown open by the wind, boom!

Someone is immediately sucked out by the typhoon and stumbles on the fifth floor. The window glass on the fifth floor is shattered, and he tries hard to control his body, but still can’t resist the power of the typhoon, slowly moving towards the window.

Finally, he couldn’t hold on any longer, his hand let go, and he was swept outside by the typhoon, falling into the flood.

The man in the security uniform rushes to the front, he doesn’t look back, just keeps running upstairs.

It’s just that the wind upstairs is stronger, and the damage is worse.

He reaches the tenth floor, then forcefully opens the stairwell door, even though he is prepared but almost instantly blown out by the typhoon.

The windows on the tenth floor have all burst from the typhoon.

He takes a deep breath, then shuts the stairwell door tightly.

Then he clings to the wall, moving bit by bit.

Just at the next second, he suddenly hears the crash of glass.

A zombie has been blown into the hall by the wind.

”This... Damn...”

The zombie, propelled by the wind, comes charging toward his direction at an incredible speed.

In the howl of the wind, an angry voice comes: ”Damn it!”

But in the strong storm, the angry voice is like a drop of water merging into the sea, without causing any ripple.

.......

After the typhoon has been blowing for three days.

It finally arrives at Oil City.

In broad daylight.

Without any sign, the wind starts to blow.

A breeze.

Old Bi senses something abnormal and immediately gives the order for everyone to hide indoors.

Wooden planks are nailed down over the windows, and heavy objects are used to barricade behind them.

Everyone gathers in the two sturdiest buildings.

Old Bi leads many Outer City personnel, along with Zuo Ruxue and others, and Original Oil City personnel, indoors.

The oil is buried underground.

In the recent days, a large pit has been rushed out in Oil City, all the oil is put into large iron cans and buried underground.

Bam!

Old Bi pulls up the iron door, then turns back and, together with a dozen others, uses the equipment moved out from the oil factory, weighing several tons, to barricade the door.

It’s a bit stuffy inside.

The stairs on the roof are also blocked by a mess of things.

Old Bi peeks through the gap, watching the situation outside.

No one is on the walls, and no one is on the central aisle of Oil City.

This hundred-acre Oil City resembles a dead city.

Old Bi assigns four personnel to gather those cooperative personnel from Original Oil City into two large rooms.

Not letting them run around.

And has Zuo Ruxue and others watch over them.

The wind gradually grows stronger.

Half an hour later.

A bout of lightning and thunder.

Crash!

The typhoon, carrying torrential rain, swallows Oil City.

Bang bang!

Old Bi, staying indoors, can vaguely hear the sound of window glass being smashed by gravel.

These things smash the glass, then smash on the planks and steel plates, making muffled sounds.

Old Bi peers through the gap, the wind through the gap is strong, making his eyes squint.

He sees beside the original oil well, there is a pump weighing nearly ten tons, it’s too big and heavy to move indoors, so it remains there.

Yet this ten-ton pump seems to have moved a few centimeters in the wind.

This is ten tons.

Old Bi feels a chill, not from the typhoon bringing cooler weather.

But a chill from the heart.

Director Li was indeed right, the typhoon this time is fierce.

Very fierce.

Thinking of Director Li, Old Bi almost forgets to inform Li Yu that the typhoon has arrived at Oil City.

So he hurriedly runs to the military radio.

”This is Oil City, calling Big Camphor Tree Base. The typhoon has arrived here! Please reply upon receipt!”

After six or seven seconds.

Li Yu’s voice comes: ”Received, this is Big Camphor Tree Base, Old Bi, how are things over there?”

Old Bi responds: ”I’ve gathered everyone into the two buildings, these buildings are connected, with the middle opened by me. Everyone has evacuated here. Doors and windows are nailed shut.”

Li Yu, hearing this news, glances at the surveillance screens, the outside typhoon is still going on.

After all, the scope of this typhoon reaches thousands of kilometers, it’s estimated there might be another two days before it leaves Xin City.

He then speaks: ”The typhoon is expected to last five days, Big Camphor Tree Base has had zombies blown in by the typhoon. I think, the same should be the case in Oil City.

So you must think of a way to barricade doors and windows, don’t go out until the typhoon leaves, as long as you can hold out until it goes, the zombies outside won’t be a threat. You can clean them up then.”

Old Bi is somewhat startled, he had heard it could happen.

But he didn’t expect it to actually happen.

Zombies flying everywhere.

Just imagining this scene makes his scalp tingle.

Tsk!

Too damn exciting!

”Understood, as long as the typhoon hasn’t left, we won’t leave the room,” says Old Bi.

”Be cautious.”

Li Yu slowly rises, gazing at the remaining seven surveillance screens.

As of now, three greenhouses have been destroyed.

Nearly ten acres of crops lost.

The good news is, neither the livestock area nor the Zombie Generator has had any issues.

In both the Inner and Outer City, everyone is hiding in sealed underground plantations or the first floor, with no injuries reported yet.

But the violent outside typhoon severely impacts everyone’s mood.

These three days.

Li Yu wakes up to watch surveillance screens, eat a bit, often falls asleep on the sofa.

This disaster has a huge impact on Big Camphor Tree Base.

Greater than any previous natural disaster.

Originally, Li Yu loved a patch of bamboo forest in the Inner City, now it’s blown away, leaving less than a third.

Only those near the walls remain, but they are also leaning.

The typhoon continues to blow.

Covering over ten provinces.

Time passes by bit by bit.

Everyone hopes this typhoon passes soon.
