Chapter 1093: Chapter 1093: Lin Tian’s Cocktail

Lin Tian placed the cocktail shaker in front of Jiang Pan Die and said, ”The cocktail is ready. Just pour it into the glass. No special technique is needed, just hold your hand a bit higher and control the speed yourself.”

Jiang Pan Die glanced at Lin Tian and couldn’t help rolling her eyes, thinking to herself, it’s just pouring a drink, why explain it in such detail?

Jiang Pan Die placed the wine glass in front of her, then unscrewed the shaker. As she brought it close to her nose, it was full of the pungent scent of alcohol. Embracing a mindset of experimentation, she followed Lin Tian’s instructions, lifted the shaker and slowly poured it into the glass.

The liquid flowed slowly from the spout, and under the colorful lighting, it also emitted a crystal-clear glow. What’s special was that the stream of liquid looked like a winding little snake, flowing down along a spiral trajectory.

Both Jiang Pan Die and the bartender beside her widened their eyes and mouths in astonishment. How could the liquid make turns in mid-air? It defied common sense!

Was this cocktail-making or magic? Or perhaps an art piece?

While the two were pondering, the winding stream of liquid had already filled the wine glass. The glass emitted a ’ding ding dong dong’ sound, which was faint in the bar, but Jiang Pan Die heard it clearly, as if there was a mini symphony orchestra inside the glass.

The simple sound only piqued Jiang Pan Die’s curiosity further. Her wrist trembled twice as she poured, and the flowing stream of liquid began to twist and sway, making an even more peculiar sound as it struck the glass, clear and pleasant like a piano performance.

Finally, under the brilliant lighting, the shimmering liquid overflowed to the rim of the glass, and only then did Jiang Pan Die reluctantly put down the cocktail shaker.

”Amazing, how did it do that?” she asked with bright eyes, like a curious child.

Lin Tian smiled and said, ”You’re an expert in music, if you look closely at the glass you’ll know.”

”Oh.” Jiang Pan Die stretched her head forward, and after a careful observation, she found that the pleasant sounds earlier were caused by the ice cubes clinking against the glass. As the amount of liquid increased, the sound of collision also changed.

”Then why did the liquid make turns when I poured?” Jiang Pan Die asked.

”Because...” Lin Tian grinned and said, ”I know magic.”

”I want to learn, teach me!”

”You’re too clumsy to learn it.”

”Clumsy or not, you still have to teach me,” Jiang Pan Die tugged at Lin Tian’s arm, pouting and whining playfully: ”Or else I’ll cling to you.”

Lin Tian’s heart trembled; as worldly as he was, her playful whining almost melted his heart.

”Alright, alright, stop shaking me, I’ll teach you.” Lin Tian said: ”The reason is simple, the liquid inside the shaker was already spinning, so when you pour it out, it’s naturally going to spin.”

Jiang Pan Die looked at Lin Tian’s face, focused and serious, but gradually her smile faded. She said irritably, ”Why do I feel like you’re tricking me?”

Lin Tian laughed bitterly and said, ”How could I dare trick you? How about you give it a try?”

Jiang Pan Die thought about it, and finally shook her head and said, ”Let’s not, I’ll probably break the glass. Anyway, you know how, so you can just perform for me.”

”This silly girl...” Lin Tian chuckled. She hadn’t even started learning and had already given up.

Jiang Pan Die didn’t care about Lin Tian’s opinion. She squinted her eyes, full of curiosity, at the prepared cocktail in front of her, but since the liquid was so full that lifting the glass would cause it to spill, she had to lean forward and take a light sip from the rim.

The liquid entered her mouth, tingling her taste buds, and had a very peculiar taste. There was the mellow aroma of red wine, the sweet bitterness of beer, and the spicy kick of spirits. As it went down her throat, it was a fiery sensation that momentarily took one’s breath away.

Lin Tian sat by the bar, propping his cheek and asked, ”How is it?”

”Refreshing!” Jiang Pan Die thought for a moment and felt that was a bit vague, so she added, ”Feels exhilarating, how to put it? Like a hot pot in winter, a deep, natural sleep, or a drenching rain from head to toe, basically I really like this feeling.”

”As long as you like it.” Lin Tian said with a smile.

”What’s this cocktail called?” Jiang Pan Die asked.

Every cocktail has its name, and Jiang Pan Die felt this one should too, or else it would lose much of its significance.

”I just whipped it up, hadn’t given it a thought.” Lin Tian replied casually, ”Why not name it yourself?”

Jiang Pan Die, mimicking Lin Tian, propped her cheek and thought for a moment, then asked, ”Why not call it ’Lin Tian’s Cocktail’?”

Lin Tian initially expected some sophisticated name, but he didn’t anticipate it to be named after him. He laughed and said, ”That’s such a cheesy name.”

”It’s a bit cheesy, but I quite like it,” Jiang Pan Die said with a smile.

”Why did you choose this name?”

”Because it’s just like you, mysterious and intriguing. After interacting with you, I discovered that sometimes you’re sweet and other times captivating, making one want to keep staying with you, forgetting all worries, just like this cocktail.”

Everyone likes compliments, and Lin Tian was no exception, especially from such a beautiful celebrity, it greatly satisfied his vanity.

”After what you said, I don’t think the name is cheesy at all.” Lin Tian said with a smile.

Jiang Pan Die took another small sip of the cocktail, smiling contentedly with squinting eyes.

”It’s delicious, but you can’t take big sips, it’s just too strong,” she said.

Lin Tian chuckled, ”I did it on purpose, added some high-proof alcohol to it. Like a carbonated drink, it’s meant to feel stimulating but you can’t drink too much at once, or your throat won’t take it. I certainly don’t want you getting drunk.”

Jiang Pan Die leaned on the table, gazing at Lin Tian’s handsome face, not sure what she was thinking as her smile grew sweeter and sweeter, sweet enough to make Lin Tian’s heart melt.

Suddenly, Jiang Pan Die rested her head on Lin Tian’s shoulder, giggling without saying a word.

Lin Tian’s body instantly went stiff. He shifted his shoulder, as this ambiguous action wasn’t suitable for their current relationship.

”Don’t move!” Jiang Pan Die said dominantly, then her voice turned soft, ”I’m cold.”

”The temperature in here is quite high, plus drinking should warm you up, right?” Lin Tian asked, puzzled.

”I’m cold!” Jiang Pan Die leaned her whole body against Lin Tian, saying softly, ”I’m just too tired, I had a great time going out with you today. Let me lean on you for a bit longer, and I’ll be satisfied.”

Lin Tian didn’t refuse again; if she wanted to lean, so be it. After all, she couldn’t get pregnant from it.

”Lin Tian.” Jiang Pan Die called.

”What is it?”

”I’m drunk, fell asleep.”

”...”

”You won’t take advantage of me, right?”

”I won’t.”

”Tsk, men always say one thing and mean another. I’m not giving you the chance,” Jiang Pan Die said, then sat up straight again, with a sweet smile on her face, clearly in a good mood.
