The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 1063: Chapter 1063: Strength Decline

Early the next morning, as the sky was still dimly lit, the people of the Xu Family began tidying up the courtyard and handling various household chores.

Last night’s ghostly disturbance left the house looking as chaotic as if a thief had broken in.

Additionally, Xv Baiping, after resting for a night, went out with Miaoqiu and others to the famous temple in South City to pray, and invited several accomplished monks to recite Buddhist scriptures at home throughout the morning.

On the altar for incense offerings, they placed a consecrated strand of Buddhist Beads to ward off evil and protect the household.

Lin Tian didn’t have any leisure in the morning either. He placed a wooden tub in the Xu Family’s backyard. The tub was one and a half meters in diameter, waist-high, filled with extremely precious medicinal herbs, about twelve kinds in total. The cost of this medicinal bath was roughly around a hundred thousand yuan, not something everyone could afford.

The medicinal water was a pale red, carrying a slightly bloody scent. Its main function was to unblock meridians and nourish the channels; although it had other effects, they were relatively secondary.

The elder removed all his clothing and was placed naked into the bath tub.

He still looked as disheveled as he did in the past few days, with dark skin, and some areas had been scorched by thunder, with flesh turned outward, blood and gore revealed.

However, as a Golden Core expert, the elder’s self-healing ability was also strong; at least those scars under Lin Tian’s treatment had already scabbed, and should heal in a few days.

After soaking for two hours, the water had turned lukewarm; the red color gradually became transparent, but the elder’s body was stained with a layer of red, especially between his eyebrows, a vertical blood-red mark, resembling a third eye.

Splash~

Suddenly, the elder opened his eyes, his pupils red, filled with murderous intent, glaring at the surroundings.

This was the Heart Demon!

Lin Tian tensed up, reached into his bosom, ready to pull out silver needles at any time.

But soon, Lin Tian noticed something was amiss. Although the elder’s eyes were crimson, they weren’t vacant; instead, they were sharp like an eagle’s gaze.

When the Martial Sect leader saw Lin Tian, he was slightly stunned. The crimson in his eyes slowly faded away, and he glanced at the water in the wooden tub. Besides seeing the various herbs at the bottom of the tub, he noticed his own naked body, turned red with embarrassment, asking, ”Is this a medicinal bath?”

Lin Tian let out a long breath, nodded, ”Yes, with three more such baths, I can teach you the cultivation method for Spiritual Qi.”

The elder was again taken aback, slightly opened his mouth, somewhat ecstatic.

He was of noble status and at such an old age, choosing to apprentice under Lin Tian mainly for the direct method of cultivating Spiritual Qi.

”But don’t be so happy yet; first feel if anything is different about your body compared to before.” Lin Tian said.

”What do you mean?” The Martial Sect leader seemed to have a premonition, unable to laugh.

”You still remember chasing Xu Dongxu to a riverbank, right? He finally pushed you with a palm on your forehead. According to him, that palm could knock a soul out of a body, possibly weakening the Heart Demon, or could make the Heart Demon more aggressive, speeding up the erosion of your intelligence.”

The elder’s expression changed, he stopped quarreling with Lin Tian, quickly closed his eyes again, and began to carefully feel.

His expression grew more severe by the minute, finally becoming extremely grim.

Seeing this expression, Lin Tian was already mentally prepared.

Ten minutes passed, and when the elder opened his eyes, Lin Tian asked, ”How is it?”

The elder’s expression was strange, wanting to cry but also wanting to laugh.

”The Heart Demon is indeed much weaker than before; now it is not as easy as before for it to seize my consciousness. Plus, with the Heart Method you taught me, I feel confident I can suppress it.” the elder said.

Lin Tian slightly relaxed but was still puzzled, ”Then why the frown?”

The elder laughed bitterly, ”My strength has already decreased to Early Stage Golden Elixir.”

Lin Tian was also dumbstruck, then followed with a bitter laugh. This result was indeed laughable yet pathetic.

”No matter, after all, your Golden Core wasn’t cultivated by yourself. Now that the Heart Demon is weaker, your strength is also weak accordingly, which is normal. After a few days, once you’re accustomed to the Spiritual Qi, you won’t take long to recover your strength.”

The elder nodded; he wasn’t too stubborn about strength, willing to weaken as long as the Heart Demon was weakened, even if it dropped to high-level martial artist.

”Master... Could you find me a set of clothes? Also, this place is so open; is there anyone else around?” The elder said while looking around.

Lin Tian burst into laughter, ”You’re of such an age and still so shy. Rest assured, I’ve already instructed Miaoqiu and the others that no one will come here, so no one will see you. Clothes are by the tub, put them on yourself.”

Sitting in the tub, the elder felt extremely awkward and said, ”Master, could you turn around while I put on my clothes?”

”Go ahead.” Lin Tian complied and turned around.

After the elder had dressed, Lin Tian said, ”In the coming days, no one will come to this backyard. You can soak here; when cultivating, it’s best to consolidate your Inner Strength as much as possible; the more solid, the better, it’s beneficial to you. The room is too confined here, it’s open and Spiritual Qi circulates smoothly. The speed will be quicker.”

”Understood.” The elder replied, then asked, ”What about my sixth brother and junior apprentice sister?”

The junior sister he referred to was naturally Nanqiu.

”Before I left Luoyan Dock, I already prepared materials and cultivation methods for Wu Hong. As for Nanqiu, her current strength is too low; wait until she cultivates a Golden Core. Then we can discuss.” Lin Tian paused, ”Nanqiu has just advanced to mid-level martial artist; to cultivate a Golden Core, one or two years should be enough.”

”Hiss~”

Upon hearing this, the elder couldn’t help but inhale sharply. Mid-level martial artist advancing to Golden Core in just one or two years; such bold talk, perhaps only Lin Tian dares to say. This speed is truly terrifying!

”Master, I’m still curious, where do your Cultivation Techniques and cultivation methods come from? Various prominent families are guessing you are a direct descendant of some hidden martial family, is that true?”

This question not only concerned the elder but was on everyone’s mind, though no one dared ask.

Lin Tian paused for a moment, then smiled mysteriously, ”This matter is between you and me, don’t spread it out.”

”I understand.” The elder nodded, thinking: Surely it is so.

He didn’t pursue questioning which hidden family it was; since it’s a hidden family, naturally they would not want others to know.

”Let’s go, I’ll now take you to meet Xu Dongxu.” Lin Tian said with a smile, ”He made you suffer so; I’ll leave him to your disposition.”

The elder’s spirit was lifted, a fierce look in his eyes. ”Can I kill him?”

”Yes!” Lin Tian replied, ”But I advise you to spare him for now; that palm weakened the Heart Demon so much, perhaps he has other ways to remove it altogether.”

”My Heart Demon was never true; is his improper method really useful?”

”Two negatives might make a positive, isn’t that possible?”
