”Investing in me?” Roy’s eyebrows slightly furrowed, ”What do you mean?” he asked.

”Take it easy” Telvanus smiled, he materialized a wooden arm chair using his divine energy, he sat down.

He laid back with his legs crossed, ”I meant what I said...”

”You see....we both seem to need each other” Telvanus materialized another chair and Roy sat down as well.

Both entities faced each other.

”I still don’t understand, how do I need you?” Roy calmly asked. ”You are a False God, Mr?”

”Call me Roy, that’s my name before my transmigration but my divine name is Varanus” Roy sighed.

”Very well then, Mr. Roy....like I said, you are a False God, a measly divine spirit or an incomplete god”

”Whatever it is called” Telvanus sighed, ”The Adminstrators must have warn you to avoid the notice of the True Gods at all cost”

”Is that correct?” Telvanus asked.

”Yes” Roy answered.

”Good” Telvanus nodded, ”The reason is because the Director is not an easygoing figure, he’s crude and ruthless and does not appreciate errors”

”If the True Gods notice you, especially the Absolutes....they’ll surely report you to the Director”

”You are an error in this game, you’ll be erased and the Adminstrators in charge will be punished”

”They do not want that and I’m sure you also do not want to be erased right?”

”This is where I’ll be investing in you” Telvanus winked at Roy, ”I’m the God of Information, so you can call me a living propaganda machine”

”If I willed it, not even the Absolutes is capable of stopping an information from reaching the Director”

”My Divine Domain: Master of Information grants me access to all information that exists in this world. But I could also twist all information to flow according to my will”

”If I wanted. I could expose you or completely erase your presence and make sure the True Gods doesn’t notice you”

”This is my investment” Telvanus stated.

”And what will you gain in return?” Roy asked, ”After all, just like you said....this is an investment”

”Yes it is” Telvanus snapped his fingers, ”Right now, I’m quite in a bit dilemma, I’m currently a King-tier True God”

”But I belong to no faction” Telvanus explained, ”Why?” Roy asked.

”You see....the Divine Domain of Information is quite versatile, whichever faction controls me would surely control information”

”They fought over me until they all came to a stand still, that I must remain neutral or die” Telvanus sighed, ”But despite their agreement, they’re still moving from the shadows to bring me to their side”

”I had to hide my real body and move with this avatar. This body is quite fitting for me so I make use of him”

”I need you to help me ascend, a King-tier True God is not insignificant but still weak against those Absolutes”

”But if I became a Primordial tier True God” Telvanus paused, ”That should keep everyone of them at bay”

”But every True God’s ascension comes with a special ritual, it ain’t easy....and I can’t accumulate Faith points without revealing myself to those greedy Absolutes”

He faced Roy with a smile written on his lips, ”This is why I need you”

”Compared to the ten continents. The Hudeii Desert is quite little, this game is vast”

”Probably twenty times the size of Earth we once lived in” Telvanus couldn’t help but sigh.

”Right now....”

”You’ll conquer the Hudeii Desert just as you desire, and I’ll erase your presence from the True Gods’ notice”

”But once you’re done. You must venture into the ten continents and fetch me what I seek that exists in there”

”Since you are Rank 0, I’m trusting your potential to grow faster and bigger than even the Absolutes”

”Is that a deal?” Telvanus asked.

”Sure” Roy shrugged, ”We’ll be helping each other, no one’s taking advantage of the other right?”

”You help me and I help you, but I have two questions tho”

”What may that be?” Telvanus asked. ”It’s nothing much” Roy sighed.

”My first question is, you mentioned your Divine Domain as the Master of Information right?” Roy asked.

”Yes?” Telvanus’s brows furrowed, ”Is that a problem?” He asked.

”Nah” Roy shook his head, ”I’m just curious tho, I thought all Divine Domain starts with Ruler” he explained.

”Ruler? Pffft” Telvanus laughed. ”There’s no way...”

”Did I say something funny?” Roy’s frown deepened, ”Not at all” Telvanus shook his head, ”It’s just that there are only ten True Gods with Ruler-class Divine Domain”

”They are the ten Absolutes that govern the Heavens” Telvanus’s gaze darkened, ”The representation of those with the talent enough to reach the status of an Absolute-tier True God”

”Why do you ask?” Telvanus smiled, Roy gulped hard, his eyes widened in shock, ”Uhmm...” Roy gently caressed his silk golden hair.

He had reverted back to his divine form. ”You see, my Divine Domain is of the Ruler-class” he explained.

”Are you for real?”Telvanus stared at Roy with a dazzled look, his heart skipped a beat, ”Yeah” Roy smiled.

”According to my Divine Domain; I am the Ruler of Beast” Roy stated.

”Hahahahahaha is that so?” Telvanus’ laughter boomed across the Divine Zone, ”I truly made the right decision making a deal with you”

”You truly have the potential to get me what I want” Telvanus’ eyes shimmered, ”What’s your second question?” he asked.

”For my second question” Roy paused for a second, ”Who is the God of Misfortune?” he asked.

”Ah” Telvanus chuckled, ”Damascus is the only True God who ignored the ten continents and settled on the Hudeii Desert”

”His reason was because he wanted to play with insignificant worms like the beastmen” Telvanus frowned, he crossed his arms.

”Can you tell me everything about him?” Roy asked.

”Well i could” Telvanus slowly rose from his seat. ”Even if I’m the God of Information, I must be partial to some extent”

”I’ll only tell you some necessary things you must know about him since we’re now partners”

”Damascus serves one of the ten Absolutes. The God of Death or this world knows him by the name ’Lord of Depravity’” Roy’s heart skipped a beat.

”the Rank 4 Player on Earth and he’s quite I’ll tempered and wicked”

”We classified all True Gods from the Death Faction as Unorthodox Gods. That means.....”

”The God of Misfortune must be treated as an unorthodox god. Right now, he’s curious about the existence of the Church of Varanus”

”But he still doesn’t care about the Hudeii Desert. Now is the perfect chance to completely destroy his arrangements on the Desert”

”For if Damascus truly sets his eyes on Hudeii Desert.......”

”There’s nothing you can do to stop him!”
