[Flame Dragon’s Beastification Genes confirmed]

The moment the final syllable of the chant left Eurenia’s lips, the air inside the tent vanished.

It didn’t just turn hot; it became a suffocating, pressurized vacuum. Eurenia’s eyes snapped open, but the panicked amber of her irises was gone.

Instead, they burned with a blinding, molten gold that cast radiance against the darkened tent.

”Ah.... ARGH!”

A gasp tore from her throat as she collapsed forward, her hands slamming into the cracked desert earth.

But she wasn’t weakening.

Beneath her skin, her veins began to throb with a fierce, golden luminescence. Crimson draconic scales began to encroach upon her skin.

The heavy, exhausted ache in her muscles was violently burned away, replaced by an ocean of pure, volatile kinetic energy.

[Ding!]

Roy, still standing in the frail guise of old man Anazora, stepped back slightly. The sheer pressure radiating from her voluptuous frame was bending the very space around her.

Her athletic muscle compacted, becoming dense as iron, and her thick crimson fur rippled. Her big bouncing, succulent chest heaved as she drew in a deep, ragged breath of pure divine mana.

”This.... this power,” Eurenia whispered, staring down at her hands.

Her fingernails had elongated into three-inch, obsidian claws that hummed with dark, vibrating energy.

She didn’t feel corrupted. She didn’t feel insane like the victims of the Lord of Depravity. She felt whole.

She felt like an absolute apex predator.

”Go, Alpha,” Roy rasped, his old-man voice perfectly masking the smug, tactical grin on his lips, ”The scavengers outside are waiting to be cleansed.”

Roy dissolves into the light the second she was gone.

Outside, the battlefield was a blood-soaked slaughterhouse.

Commander Agro was on his knees, his breath coming in ragged, bloody gasps. His battle axe was notched and bent.

Standing over him were three massive gray-skinned ogres, their thick wooden clubs raised, their foul, unwashed faces twisted in sadistic glee.

”Die, puppy!” one of the ogres bellowed, swinging its club toward Agro’s skull.

BOOM!

The main tent didn’t just open; it exploded outward in a violent shockwave of crimson and gold wind.

A streak of blurred, blood-red starlight tore across the sand. Before the ogre’s club could connect with Agro, a shadow materialized directly in front of him.

SLASH!

A clean arc of black energy cut through the air. The ogre’s massive, diamond-hard arm, along with its club, clattered into the dirt.

A split second later, its heavy head slid off its shoulders, black blood geysering into the sky.

Silence violently dropped over the battlefield.

The remaining sixty-odd ogres and the surviving wolf-men all froze, their eyes locking onto the figure standing at the center of the dust cloud.

It was Eurenia.

But she loomed larger, and more beautiful. Her golden eyes flashing with a terrifying, absolute dominance.

Her black-tipped tail lashed behind her, and the rusted spear in her hand was now coated in glowing, dark-red runes that hissed whenever they touched the desert air.

[Passive Active: Intimidation of the Apex Predator]

The ordinary gray-skinned ogres, who had been drunkenly laughing moments ago, suddenly felt their knees tremble.

Their primitive, beastly instincts were screaming at them, overriding their bloodlust.

The creature standing before them wasn’t a prey. It was a calamity.

”I-Is that a...?” An ogre gulped hard, cold chills ran down his spine.

They were all in the presence of a fully evolved Martial Cultivator!

”L-Lady Eurenia?” Commander Hedro stammered from the side, his jaw dropping as he sensed the sheer, world-ending pressure radiating from his Alpha.

From the ridge above, the Ogre Captain’s black eyes narrowed into slits. His grip tightened on his massive battle axe as his own divine detection flared to life.

”So... you finally showed yourself,” the Captain growled, his voice echoing down the ravine. ”The power of a god.... but you are not the Troll Lord. What filthy deity do you serve, cultivator?”

Eurenia didn’t answer him. She didn’t need to.

She leveled her runic spear directly at the Ogre Captain, her lips curling into a ruthless, feral smile that made the surrounding monsters take a frantic step back.

Deep within the shadows of the ruined tent, a small desert lizard blinked its crimson eyes, watching the chaos unfold.

The small desert lizard vanished, transforming into a sun fly; it flew out of the tent. Roy returned back to his human form. His sleek golden hair fluttered in the wind.

He was draped in his plain black T-shirt and blue pants.

Watching the battle few hundred meters away.

”Seventy ogres,” Roy’s eyes narrowed, ”Although that Ogre Captain isn’t blessed directly by a true god....”

”What’s in his possession belongs to a true god.” His eyes flickered, ”I need to get my hands on that treasure.”
