Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

”You still want to slap her twice to vent your anger?” Jose Floyd lifted his thin, cool lips, letting out a cold laugh.

”Jose, it’s not like that, it was them bullying Nicole, saying she’s clinging to you and won’t let go, that she’s a homewrecker...” Celine Sutton was afraid Jose Floyd would only hear Andrea Greenwood’s one‑sided story and it would be bad for Nicole, afraid the two of them would end up with an irreparable misunderstanding, so she rushed to explain.

Her voice was stopped short by a glance from Jose Floyd’s utterly cold eyes, and she couldn’t go on.

”If you want to defend your fiancée’s honor, then just do it! I’ll say it again: I went easy just now! If anything like this happens again, don’t blame me when I beat your fiancée half‑crippled and send her back to you!” Nicole’s fingertips dug into her own palm, but she didn’t feel any pain at all.

Because nothing hurt more than the left side of her chest right now.

His indifference and his protectiveness toward someone else were like a sharp blade falling straight into her heart.

The pain went all the way into her heart.

Jose Floyd swept a glance at the proud, cool woman in front of him, his fingers clenching into fists on both sides, then he grabbed Nicole’s wrist in one hard yank, gripping tightly. ”Nicole, you’re really pathetic!”

To be bullied by Andrea Greenwood, that useless trash with zero fighting skills—pathetic to the extreme! Since when is his woman supposed to swallow this kind of crap?

She should be swaggering around and never backing down!

The cold expression on Jose Floyd’s face and the sudden surge of rage, plus the way he clamped down on Nicole’s wrist—anyone could see he was about to settle accounts.

Andrea curled her lips, her eyes still wet with crystal tears, putting on this pitiful, fragile act. And Andrea’s mom was standing right next to her, also waiting to see Nicole’s misfortune.

Celine’s palms were slick with sweat as she watched the tense stand‑off between Jose Floyd and Nicole, terrified that Jose Floyd would lose his temper and actually slap Nicole across the face. If that happened, their relationship really would shatter.

Only Joshua Floyd, who understood what Jose Floyd was thinking, curled his lips, a hint of mockery flashing through his eyes.

Andrea is so dead, he was absolutely sure—!

Just when everyone thought Nicole was about to suffer, when Andrea and the others were eagerly waiting to see Jose Floyd slap Nicole, Nicole’s hand, tightly wrapped in his, tried to pull back and draw a clear line with him, but that broad, powerful palm gave her no room to retreat.

Jose Floyd’s eyes sharpened, cold to the extreme! Suddenly he tightened his hold on Nicole’s hand, and with a backhand swing sent a slap flying!

Smack!!!

The sound was so loud it was at least half again as strong as the slap Andrea had taken before!

Nicole was completely stunned; all she felt was her fingers being enveloped, warmth coming through.

”Brother Jose—” Andrea clutched the side of her face that had just taken the slap, utterly incredulous. The spot that had been hit was already flaming red, with bright red blood beading at the corner of her mouth.

Andrea had barely spoken when frost settled on Jose Floyd’s brows, and he said, cold and merciless, ”That was too light.” When he finished, he lifted Nicole’s hand again and swung it toward Andrea’s face.

But halfway there, Nicole yanked her hand back, her eyes as stunned and disbelieving as Andrea’s.

Smack!!!

Nicole’s hand had pulled away, yet the sound still rang out, crisp and loud, piercingly sharp.

Jose Floyd’s palm landed on Andrea’s face, his eyes devoid of any warmth, but his voice was slightly gentle as he turned to the dazed Nicole at his side and asked, ”Are two slaps enough? If not, I’ll keep going! I’ll keep slapping until you’ve vented all your anger!”

Nicole: ”...”

Has he gone crazy?

Jose Floyd actually used her hand to slap his own fiancée—and did it in front of his fiancée’s whole family...

Is Jose Floyd insane or possessed?

The force of those two slaps was at least half again stronger than the ones she gave Andrea before; she could feel the power of Jose Floyd’s rage in his hand...
