Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

In this way, Nicole enjoyed excellent care and affection beside Jose Floyd.

The New Year when she was seventeen.

Nicole stood alone on the balcony, gazing at the starry sky, thinking of Wade.

Below, Aunt Myres and the servants had filled the space with fireworks, planning to ignite them at midnight to welcome the New Year.

Nicole’s eyes were somewhat dim, and she couldn’t help but whisper softly while gazing at the stars: ”Wade, Happy New Year.”

She had been by Jose Floyd’s side for over half a year, yet hadn’t found any opportunity to act, nor had he touched her. Only when sharing a bed at night did he occasionally hold her hand.

And she remained obedient, serving Jose Floyd very well; their degree of intimacy had increased significantly.

But had she not fully entered his heart yet? Had he not completely trusted her? Otherwise, why hadn’t he touched her, why hadn’t he trusted her without reservation for so long?

As she was lost in thought, the door was pushed open, and a tall figure walking in startled her.

She looked at him approaching, the sadness in her eyes still not fully retracted, and he saw it.

”What are you thinking?” he asked.

”Thinking of my deceased family; tonight is reunion night.” This time, she answered truthfully, very, very honestly.

Jose Floyd said nothing, remained silent for a moment, then took a jewelry box out of his pocket.

A delicate necklace came into view, and her eyes were a bit surprised as his slender fingers already placed the necklace around her fair neck, his gentle voice sounding: ”Nicole, Happy New Year.”

At this moment, downstairs, Aunt Myres and the servants ignited the fireworks, blooming with vibrant colors in the sky, splendid and brilliant.

Nicole clutched the necklace on her neck, under the fireworks, under the starry sky, the silhouette of the person so close was reflected in the depths of her eyes. Nicole looked up, suddenly feeling a bit sour, her voice very low: ”Floyd, you really... don’t have to be so good to me.”

She never forgot her purpose; approaching him had an ulterior motive.

”You are my woman.” A short statement, yet it told her that spoiling her was appropriate.

Nicole’s fingertips were somewhat cold, her heart heavy, even her breathing was somewhat labored, gazing downward, murmuring softly: ”Really don’t have to... I to you...”

At this moment, recalling her purpose for approaching him, she began to feel uneasy and evasive, even palpitating.

For some reason, thinking of the secret in her heart, looking at him, she would feel a sense of guilt.

”Nicole.” His long arm domineeringly encircled her in his embrace, his usually arrogant eyes now covered with a layer of soft light, voice deep: ”From the moment you signed and promised to be my woman, you had no right to regret it. I hope you understand. I don’t care what feelings you have towards me now, you only need to know what your current identity is, the word on your right shoulder is to remind you. No matter what in this life, as long as I don’t agree to let you go, you can’t leave.”

”I know.” Nicole looked at Jose Floyd.

He held her tightly, the two pressing against each other, close enough to clearly feel each other’s breath and heartbeat.

Her heart was racing, his breathing became heavy. She could feel the tension and heat in his body.

Recalling Aunt Myres’ teachings these days and some things about serving him, she was no longer the naive girl she once was, understanding what her most important ’duty’ as his woman was.

Nicole’s fingers rested on Jose Floyd’s arm, slightly closing, her palm somewhat moist....
