Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Jose Floyd replied coldly with a question: ”Who is he?”

”Are you talking about Jaxon Sterling? He’s my classmate.”

”What were you doing at the school gate just now?”

”He said he’d take me home, thinking it was late and I wouldn’t be safe going back. Jaxon is a really nice guy, cheerful, bright, and helpful, a perfect friend.”

After Nicole finished speaking, the person sitting next to her looked even colder, ”In the future, don’t let me see you getting involved with any boys! There is never pure friendship between men and women! If he’s approaching you, it’s either for money or attraction!”

”But I have neither of those, there’s nothing Jaxon can covet.” Nicole retorted lightly.

Jose Floyd glanced at Nicole, ”Are you being disobedient?”

His voice carried a serious warning and anger. Nicole lowered her eyes slightly, speaking softly, ”Jose, no. I just think you’re overthinking it.”

Her calling him ’Jose’ made Jose Floyd pause for a moment. He pressed his thin lips together, leaned back in his seat, and didn’t speak again, with a somewhat heavy aura surrounding him.

Arriving at home.

While eating at the dinner table, Jose Floyd said nothing, his expression was very somber, causing Nicole, who originally wanted to talk about interesting things at school, to swallow her words and silently eat as well.

Jose Floyd ate a bowl of rice and then went upstairs, without uttering a word from beginning to end.

Only after his figure disappeared around the staircase did Nicole turn her head to speak to Aunt Myres, who was standing behind her, ”Did you notice something off about him today? I feel like he’s angry.”

Aunt Myres looked at Nicole, her eyes hiding a deeper smile, ”Miss Nicole, you’re seventeen this year, right?”

”Yes, Aunt Myres, why?”

”You signed a five-year contract with the young master, right?”

”Yes, five years.” Nicole paused for a moment. ”So, the point is, Aunt Myres, how can he stop being angry? If he keeps wearing that stern face every day, I can’t even breathe properly during meals. It’s really distressing to endure this.”

Aunt Myres chuckled, ”The young master rarely gets inexplicably angry like this. Did something happen today?”

”Did something happen, huh, let me think...” Nicole pondered a bit, then shook her head in confusion, ”No, I was just chatting with a classmate at the school gate. When I got in the car, I noticed he was angry.”

”Was the classmate a boy?” Aunt Myres’s smile was quite deep, ”Miss Nicole, I have a way to stop the young master from being angry, do you want to try it?”

”Try it, of course! Aunt Myres, tell me quickly!”

”Here’s what you do, Miss Nicole, wait a moment....”

——

After taking a shower, Nicole changed into the pajamas that Aunt Myres sent up, and knocked on Jose Floyd’s office door.

”Come in.”

A cold voice sounded, Nicole pushed the door open and entered.

Jose Floyd was talking with Camden, hearing the door open, both of them looked towards the entrance.

In their sight, Nicole, dressed in pajamas, approached. Jose Floyd’s gaze shifted slightly without a word, ”Camden, leave!”

A domineering command, a cold tone. Camden immediately lowered his eyes, not daring to look at anything he shouldn’t, and quickly left the room. As he passed by Nicole, he deliberately kept a careful distance, avoiding any accidental brushes.

Camden left, closing the study door behind him.

Jose Floyd’s eyes were locked on Nicole, his expression deep, his voice questioning, ”Who told you to dress like that?”

The sheer slip nightgown draped over her body barely concealed her not-yet-fully-developed figure, causing his gaze to deepen.

Nervously, Nicole clutched her nightgown, a bit at a loss, ”Is it wrong? But Aunt Myres said if I dressed like this, you wouldn’t be angry....”
