Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Nicole’s wine glass was just brought to her lips when Steven Cooper’s hand blocked it.

Facing Nicole’s bright, sparkling eyes, Steven smiled slightly, ”Blocking a drink is a man’s job.”

”Pouring out affection! Who would’ve thought one day we’d be choked by Minister Cooper’s affection!”

The colleagues laughed and teased, and Steven downed the drink generously, actually finishing three glasses.

”Minister Cooper? You... Brother Cooper, have you been promoted again?” Nicole looked at Steven, slightly stunned after he drank three glasses.

”Sis, don’t you know? Our Minister Cooper was promoted a while ago and is likely to become the youngest minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs! We truly admire Brother Cooper’s professional abilities! Sis, you’re fortunate; you and Brother Cooper are a match made in heaven!” said a sunny-looking colleague named Nolan Cox.

The title ’Sis’ made Steven’s mood exceptionally good, but Nicole lowered her eyes a little shyly and softly said, ”Brother Cooper, congratulations on your promotion.”

Steven was very happy to hear Nicole’s congratulations and smiled as he said ’thank you.’

”Actually, when I first arrived, I was worried, worried that ladies are all spoiled and act like princesses, especially being treated like royalty in the Seys Family, surely they’d be seriously spoiled and delicate. But seeing Sis for the first time changed my perspective. It’s that I haven’t seen enough; socialites like Miss Seys truly live up to the title of socialite. She’s excellent and beautiful, dignified and elegant, gentle and courteous; you and Brother Cooper are truly a beautiful couple, perfectly matched.”

Steven saw Nicole lower her head, thinking she was too shy to face the crowd’s tease, smiled at the group, and said, ”Alright, stop with the teasing, aren’t you just trying to get a meal out of me? Whatever you want tonight, just order; it’s on me!”

”Brother Cooper is so generous!”

”It’s all thanks to Sis! Sis, remember to join us for a meal now and then, so we can unabashedly get another meal out of Brother Cooper, and Steven also enjoys this ’robbery’ a lot.”

Nicole brushed her bangs behind her ear with a light smile, nodding at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs colleagues’ teasing.

”Watching Sis is a pleasure, every move is full of elegance, no wonder our Brother Cooper is so devoted.”

The title ’Sis’ seemed to be how Steven’s colleagues had collectively started referring to her, something Nicole wasn’t too used to but didn’t comment on, smiling as she took a seat with Steven.

A table full of dishes was ordered, guests were joyful, and Steven was very gentlemanly and attentive, helping Nicole with her food, making the meal enjoyable.

Except for one female colleague who occasionally threw an unfriendly look at Nicole, everything else was good.

After the meal, they moved to Royal One KTV.

The group had a great time, Steven’s colleagues were easygoing, except for the female colleague who threw unfriendly looks at Nicole.

That female colleague probably likes Steven, Nicole guessed.

Nicole waved to Steven and went to the restroom.

Passing by a room, as a server opened the door, Nicole happened to walk by and was seen by someone seated inside, their gaze slightly deep.

Nicole was unaware as she passed by to the restroom.

Nicole came out of the restroom, just washed her hands, and was about to turn back to the room when she saw a tall, indifferent figure standing at the corner, startling her.

Jose Floyd—

How could it be so coincidental...

Jose held a cigarette between his fingertips, and upon seeing her come out, his brows and eyes remained unchanged as he brought the cigarette to his lips, releasing a swirl of smoke.
