Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 898: Chapter 898: Daisy Grant Is Fired!

Daisy Grant spoke, her fingers tightened slightly, and she asked anxiously, ”So, Aidan, the food is getting cold, can we go home and eat? I’m hungry.”

If her brother really left, she was truly afraid he would no longer pay attention to her.

Her cautiousness and fear of upsetting him softened Dawn Sutherland’s eyes a bit, and he let out a deep sigh in his heart.

He was always polite to everyone, yet each time he couldn’t help but lose his temper with her.

Because seeing her standing by the road waiting for a bus, he felt a pang of heartache.

Because seeing her willingly eat a bun instead of the takeout he ordered made him angry.

Even more so because she became so destitute for that man, it pained him to no end, feeling both frustrated and deeply heartbroken.

Daisy Grant pulled Dawn Sutherland home.

Afraid that Dawn would be angry, Daisy quickly served two bowls of rice for them and immediately sat at the dining table to eat quietly, enjoying two bowls with a good appetite.

Seeing her eating well and finishing two bowls, Dawn’s temper gradually subsided, and he spoke in a slow, gentle tone: ”Report to C.Y tomorrow.”

”Wh...what?” Daisy had just put down her bowl and chopsticks, raising her eyes to look at Dawn.

Dawn, picking up some food, replied indifferently, ”Aren’t you looking for a job? C.Y just happens to be hiring, you report there tomorrow.”

”Really?” Daisy’s face lit up with joy.

”Yes. Sam Brown will handle all the entry formalities for you, the position is as an assistant, any issues?”

”No issues,” Daisy beamed her first bright smile in days, ”Aidan, which department will I be an assistant in?”

Dawn pushed back his chair, stood up, and replied simply: ”Mine.”

——

The next day, when Daisy Grant arrived at C.Y in Dawn Sutherland’s car, the two entering together stirred up quite a discussion within the company.

Especially when Daisy followed Dawn towards his office and coincidentally ran into Evalian Chapman in the outer manager’s area of his office.

As they exchanged glances, Evalian’s eyes and face were filled with hatred and mockery towards Daisy,

Sam Brown looked at Evalian, then at Daisy, personally brought in by President Sutherland, feeling a headache and could only separate their seats far apart to ensure some safety.

Some staff at C.Y had followed Dawn over from the Sutherland Clan and knew Daisy; these employees still kept in touch with their former colleagues in Sutherland Clan, and Daisy’s employment at C.Y quickly spread back to the Clan.

When work ended in the afternoon, Dawn received a call from Asher Sutherland, telling him to return to the Sutherland Family home, his tone extremely angry.

Dawn brought Daisy with him back to the Sutherland Family house, stopping the car in front of the gate.

”Wait for me in the car, I’ll be out in ten minutes,” Dawn said, removing his seatbelt and getting out.

Daisy nodded.

Dawn walked towards the Sutherland home.

Daisy rolled down the car window, watching Dawn’s back, and smiled gently.

It turned out that during her toughest times, she wasn’t truly alone. At least she still had a brother who did everything to protect her.

As Dawn entered the Sutherland home and stepped into the living room, he immediately felt the anger directed at him.

Just as he approached the family seated on the sofa, Asher Sutherland threw a teacup at him in a fit of rage, opening exasperatedly at Dawn: ”For a Sutherland, you went out of your way at this time to help Daisy Grant! Really impressive!”

Dawn dodged, and Asher’s teacup crashed to the floor, with Dawn casting a fleeting glance at Asher, Aidan Sutherland, and Selah Sutton, his tone even more detached, ”You called me back just for this matter?”

”Fire Daisy Grant! She was driven out of the Grant Family because of her own undiscerning mistakes, and Romeo Grant was afraid this unmarried pregnancy would tarnish the family’s reputation, so he kicked her out! Daisy brought this on herself!”
