Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 859: Chapter 859: I Can’t Stop Worrying About Her

Daisy Grant smiled faintly, ”Maybe it’s because my mind’s been troubled recently, and I haven’t been sleeping well, which has led to my body feeling under the weather and somewhat weak.”

Evalian Chapman noticed the interaction between the two, feeling a bit jealous, she turned to Daisy Grant with furrowed brows and said, ”Do you need Dawn and me to take you to the hospital? You don’t seem to look well.”

When Daisy heard Evalian mention ’her and Dawn’, her heart tensed up slightly. Forcing a gentle smile at Dawn Sutherland, who’d been staring at her with concern, she said, ”Aidan, you both go ahead. I’ll rest for a while and then drive home. Don’t worry about me, I’m fine.”

Evalian glanced at the unmoved Dawn, ”Since Daisy is okay, shall we go then?”

Dawn’s eyes lingered deeply on Daisy, noticing the paleness of her lips. His thin lips moved slightly, ”Take good care of yourself and pay more attention to your health.”

”Okay.” Daisy smiled gently.

Dawn returned to his car, somewhat dazed, only starting the car under Evalian’s urging, and drove away.

As Dawn’s car slowly disappeared, Daisy watched, a bitter smile creeping onto her face.

”In truth, Aidan and I are drifting further and further apart. I have Aidan, and he has Evalian—the distance between us will only grow. But, Aidan, do you know that this isn’t what I want at all? I know I can’t have you, but I don’t want to become more distant from you. Even if it’s just being your sister, I don’t want to be estranged.”

As Daisy spoke, her eyes suddenly reddened.

After more than a decade of unrequited love, it ultimately became a state of estrangement, leaving Daisy with a heartache that felt as if it had drained all her strength, her body slightly trembling.

Her stomach churned with acid, and Daisy abruptly pushed open the car door and began to vomit.

Her entire body was devoid of any strength, and due to her emotional swings, a month of not having a good rest led to Daisy feeling the world spinning around her. She immediately reached out to steady herself against the car, slid to the ground as darkness consumed her vision, losing consciousness...

Dawn drove with thoughts of Daisy’s pale face, still forcing a weak smile claiming she was okay, swirling in his head.

”Aidan, will you protect me?”

”I will, I, Dawn Sutherland, will protect Daisy Grant for a lifetime.”

The scenes of their sweet childhood moments appeared in his mind.

Dawn promising to protect Daisy for a lifetime was a commitment he made to her, but now, Dawn, did you fulfill it?

Throughout this journey, has Daisy not protected you enough? Today at the Sutherland Family, if it weren’t for Daisy, do you know how Selah Sutton could have troubled you?!

Dawn’s gaze firmed up as he stepped on the brake, quickly unbuckling his seatbelt.

Evalian, almost hitting her head due to Dawn’s sudden stop, witnessed his actions and asked, ”What are you doing, Dawn?”

Dawn unfastened his seatbelt, opened the car door, looked at Evalian, his voice deep, ”Evalian, I’m sorry, I can’t take you any further. Daisy is unwell, and I can’t stop worrying about her. You can take my car, and I’ll take her to the hospital.”

Evalian was taken aback, ”It isn’t far from the Sutherland Family. You can call Aidan to pick up Daisy. After all, Aidan is Daisy’s fiancé...”

Her boyfriend leaving her to find Daisy left her feeling uneasy. Has Dawn considered this?

Dawn pressed his thin lips, ”Sorry, Evalian, I can’t let go.”

With that, Dawn swiftly turned around, walking back in the direction he came from.

”Dawn! Dawn! Dawn!...”

Evalian got out of the car and shouted toward Dawn’s rapidly retreating figure.

Dawn’s entire heart was fixed on Daisy Grant, and he didn’t respond to Evalian.

Evalian stood still, watching Dawn’s quickly disappearing silhouette, and suddenly tears began to flow.

How many times has Dawn left her, his girlfriend, behind for Daisy Grant?
