Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 727: Chapter 727: The person I like is you, can’t you even guess that?

”...I didn’t.” Daisy pressed her lips together.

She merely had a secret crush on Arlo, but she never betrayed Aidan. She had never gotten close to any other guy! Besides Arlo, the only other boys she was familiar with were Nico and Arlo Seys, and that was because of Arlo.

Therefore, although she didn’t love Aidan, she had never betrayed him. She constantly reminded herself that she was Aidan’s girlfriend and she had to live up to being that.

As for Arlo, she couldn’t control her unintentional feelings; she fell in love with him at first sight when they were children. It was beyond her control, so apart from feeling guilty about secretly loving Arlo, Daisy asked herself and found no other way she wronged Aidan.

”I know you didn’t—Daisy, regarding Dawn, I hope you can understand my anger today. Also, you are uncle and sister-in-law, being too close is prone to misunderstandings. It’s not that I don’t trust you, but rumors can be fearsome, do you understand?” Aidan pointed out directly, speaking in a deep voice.

Daisy’s eyes flickered, she bowed her head, ”I understand, Aidan, you should go rest, I’ll go upstairs to sleep.”

”Alright.”

Aidan left, and only then did Daisy go upstairs to her room.

Back in her room, Daisy stood in front of her window, looking at the bright moon outside, recalling everything that happened in the living room earlier, her mood was heavy.

”Daisy, you are Aidan’s girlfriend, you will soon marry him. Your refusal today really raises suspicions, you know that? It’s not wrong to love Arlo, but Aidan is your boyfriend, if you keep rejecting him, one day he will suspect!”

”Daisy, your love for Arlo will ruin him, you know that? His company is just getting started, if you reveal your feelings now and the Sutherland Family finds out about your secret crush on Arlo, do you know the heavy consequences you might bring upon him?”

”Selah has never liked Arlo, constantly targeting him, and with Aidan’s possessive nature, if they find out that the person you love is Arlo, do you know how difficult his path will be?”

”Daisy, are you only satisfied dragging Arlo down?! Do you want to ruin him, let him be suppressed by the Sutherland Family at the beginning of his career?”

”Daisy, control your emotions and feelings, stop implicating Arlo. His journey and growth have been so arduous, others may not know, but you surely do! You understand better than anyone how tough his path has been within the Sutherland Family!”

”Daisy, how can you be so selfish? How can you be so selfish, unable to resist constantly getting close to Arlo—!”

In the middle of the night, Daisy stood alone in front of the window, admonishing herself quietly, her eyes reddened.

”Arlo—I am so fortunate to meet someone who makes my heart flutter in this lifetime.”

”But Arlo, my greatest fortune is meeting you in this life, yet my greatest misfortune is not being able to have you.”

At the same time, in Dawn’s apartment.

Dawn put the flower cakes in the fridge to keep fresh, remembering Daisy telling him to give the cakes to the person he likes when she left, his eyes darkened.

Dawn looked at the flower cakes in the fridge and murmured softly, ”The person I like is you, whom do you want me to give them to? The person I like enjoys flower cakes, Daisy, are you foolish? Can’t you guess it even now?”

”On your eighteenth birthday, you said you liked rose petal cakes the most. I went out in the pouring rain to buy them for you, you ate the cakes, I asked if they’re good, you said yes, but three days later you went abroad, following Aidan for five years.”
