Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 705: Chapter 704: I’m Not Eating You Again!

Jose Floyd sneered, ”According to what you’re saying, Arlo Seys should call me brother when he sees me! He married Jorge’s sister, so he’s half a brother-in-law to me, right?”

”...” Nicole wisely chose not to reply, remaining silent.

Only an idiot would trip up their own brother! Asking her cool and aloof brother to call Langdon Seal and Jose Floyd brothers, forget it, dream on! Impossible!

”What, not saying anything? Weren’t you talking about relationships with me? To go further, Arlo Seys is half a brother-in-law to me, so you, as Arlo Seys’s sister, are half a sister?” Jose Floyd’s expression and eyes were cold.

”Jose Floyd, don’t push it! Before all this, when you saw my brother, you still had to call him big brother!” Nicole burst out, balking.

As soon as she said this, Nicole immediately felt it was inappropriate and after rethinking her brainless words, her body stiffened, and she immediately lowered her head into silence.

Why was she following Jose Floyd’s lead? Why did she say such foolish things?!

Nicole, are you just stupid?!

’Before all this, when you saw my brother, you still had to call him big brother!’ When this phrase reached Jose Floyd’s ears, he paused slightly, quickly grasping the significance of what she said, his eyes flickered.

’Before all this’ referred to when they hadn’t broken up. If they hadn’t ended, he indeed by identity ought to follow Nicole in calling Arlo Seys big brother—her cousin.

Nicole lay draped across Jose Floyd’s legs. In this awkward moment, she dared not move or struggle, only reduced her presence as much as possible, to be as quiet as she could.

Suddenly, her shoulder’s clothing slid off. A pair of hands caressed her shoulder, causing Nicole to tremble slightly, immediately turning her head to look up at Jose Floyd’s face, somewhat panic-stricken: ”Jose Floyd, what are you doing?!”

The earlier movement pulled at the injury again. Nicole gasped, not daring to relax, staring directly at Jose Floyd, her fingers forming a fist, entering a tense battle-ready state.

Her cautiousness and instinctive resistance added a few depths to Jose Floyd’s gaze. His palm flipped Nicole’s body over, letting her continue lying on his lap, firmly pressing her down, rendering her immobile.

”I’m not going to eat you!” Jose Floyd mocked sarcastically.

Nicole gritted her teeth, planning a fierce counterattack, but when the cool sensation spread from her shoulder wound, carrying a faint refreshing scent, her intended movement froze.

She lay on Jose Floyd’s lap, her face flushing slightly, with deepened eyes.

So he called her into the car to apply medicine?

This medicinal fragrance was very familiar to her. When they were together, she had applied this kind of ointment on him many times, it worked wonders for injuries!

The ointment cool and soothing, although Jose Floyd’s expression and eyes remained cold, his hand movements were unexpectedly gentle.

As the ointment spread, the original pain in her right shoulder was quelled by a cooling sensation, and the pain eased considerably. Complex emotions surged in Nicole’s heart, flooding her eyes.

He was really good to her. In those five years together, despite his dominance and indifference, undeniably, he also gave her much warmth and affection.

If it weren’t for the hatred, she would truly choose to love Jose Floyd wholeheartedly.

Regrettably, it’s impossible between them now. As for Jose Floyd, she only seeks revenge.

Her quiet posture on his lap, like a lazy, obedient kitten, softened Jose Floyd’s gaze a touch. Her demeanor now reminded him very much of her early days by his side, gentle and docile, always with a smile and softly calling him ’Floyd’.
