Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 565: Chapter 565: Too Bad It’s Not Me...

Crimson roses, he gave them to her not because of their fragrance, but for their meaning.

And today, Daisy gave him a bouquet of roses in return, simply because she thought they smelled nice and because they were the flowers he once gave her.

Daisy... it’s because you don’t yet know the symbolism of roses, otherwise you wouldn’t have given me roses, especially crimson ones.

Daisy Grant embraced the bouquet with a gentle smile on her face while Dawn Sutherland kept his eyes ahead, driving the car with a gentle and elegant demeanor;

Due to the morning rush hour, the traffic was very congested, and it took nearly two hours to reach Dawn Sutherland’s new apartment.

Dawn carried the suitcase, and Daisy held the bouquet, as the two parked the car and entered the apartment.

Although they called it moving in, there was actually only one suitcase; everything else was fully equipped, and Dawn led Daisy into his new home.

Daisy looked around the interior, nodded in approval, ”Second brother’s new home is simple and elegant, very nice, but with such a monochrome look, aren’t you afraid of staying single for life?”

Everything about the new home was good, except its monochrome colors, which made it seem a bit cold and lonely.

With laughter in her eyes and a playful tone, Daisy teased Dawn gently as he took the bouquet from her hand and placed it on the table, responding warmly, ”A man’s style is surely different from a girl’s style, simple is fine.”

Daisy walked into the room to examine it, while Dawn glanced at Daisy with a soft light in his eyes, ”Daisy, I’m going out to get some things, feel free to look around.”

”Alright,” Daisy replied with a gentle smile over her shoulder, ”Go ahead, second brother.”

Dawn chuckled and left with his wallet.

Daisy toured the master bedroom and guest room, and upon returning to the living room, saw Dawn’s suitcase placed there.

Daisy picked up the suitcase and went into the master bedroom, helping Dawn to fold each piece of clothing neatly into the wardrobe. As she looked at the folded clothes, a sense of forlornness and deep thought filled her gaze.

”I wonder who will be the future mistress of this house, who will have the privilege to live here, to help second brother organize clothes and manage this home.”

In a quiet murmur, with a slightly low tone, Daisy whispered to herself, ”I really envy the future mistress of the house, too bad-----it won’t be me.”

As Daisy was lost in thought, she heard movements coming from the living room. She closed the wardrobe and walked out.

”Hey, second brother, you’re back so soon?” Daisy asked, seeing Dawn putting shopping bags on the sofa.

Dawn smiled gently and took a pair of women’s slippers from the shopping bag, handing them to Daisy, ”Go on, change into these, it’s tiring to wear heels.”

Surprised, Daisy accepted the pink women’s slippers, pursed her lips, and went to the entrance to change into them, while she deliberately smiled and teased him, ”Buying women’s slippers on the first day of moving in, looks like you’re hoping to find someone soon, second brother, are these prepared for your future girlfriend already?”

Dawn placed the toothbrush and other toiletries into the bathroom and, upon hearing Daisy’s words, naturally replied, ”There’s no girl, how would there be a girl to come here? They’re purely bought for you to change into.”

Though Dawn’s tone seemed casual, Daisy’s heart pounded as she listened, a gentle smile spread on her face.

She may not be the future mistress of this house, but at least she was the first girl to step inside.

”Second brother, I didn’t sleep well last night, I’d like to rest for a while,” Daisy said, looking at Dawn who had neatly arranged everything and was now seated on the sofa opening his laptop.

Last night, thinking of how she could spend the next few days alone with her second brother, she was so excited she didn’t sleep at all, tossing and turning, and now she was really feeling tired.

Dawn’s fingers flew over the keyboard, eyes fixed intensely on the screen, and he replied warmly, ”Alright, go ahead. By the way, the guest room bed is not yet made, if you don’t mind, rest in the master bedroom, I’ll finish up my work and call you to wake up for dinner.”
