Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 554: Chapter 554: Can Your Body Wait?

”Brother, Arlo and I have been apart for eight years, and counting it up, we’ve only been together for just a year. If there’s an accident during the surgery, we won’t be able to be together in this life! Could you give me some time to be with him? I’m really afraid that I might never see him again!”

”Are you sure your body can wait?!” Jorge Saxton shouted angrily.

”I understand my own body. Brother, I’m fine, and even if something happens, I’ll push through. I can’t bear to leave you and Arlo; I don’t want to leave this world!”

Jorge Saxton fell silent, saying nothing.

Ariel Morris stood up and hugged Jorge Saxton, her voice choked with emotion, pleading, ”Brother, I’m begging you, okay? I don’t want to have regrets in my life.”

Facing the plea of his sister, whom he cherished dearly, Jorge Saxton struggled for a while before sighing heavily and replying, ”You must receive treatment in a month! Also, if you feel unwell during this month, go to the hospital immediately! Tomorrow, I’ll have Camden bring the best foreign experts to Italy; in a month, we’ll return to Italy and focus on the treatment!”

Ariel Morris nodded enthusiastically, hugging Jorge Saxton, tears flowing silently, ”Brother, thank you. Don’t worry, for you and Arlo, I will be fine. No matter how hard or painful it is, I’ll get through it!”

Jorge Saxton stretched out his hand, hugging Ariel Morris, his fingers stroking her head, conceding, ”In this life, I’ve only lowered my head to two women, one is you, and the other is—”

”The other is your past love, Lydia Brooke,” Ariel Morris interjected with a teasing tone, then her eyes deepened as she softly asked, ”Brother, there’s still hope for you and Lydia Brooke. With fate and chemistry on your side, why not try to win her back?”

Jorge Saxton’s body stiffened noticeably. He released Ariel Morris, pressed his lips into a straight line, his eyelids lowered slightly before he spoke in a deep voice, ”What are you gossiping about my affairs for? Better think about how you’ll tell Arlo about the toxin in your body! If he knows, he’d tie you up and take you directly for treatment! And what about the wedding? If you undergo treatment, you definitely won’t make it to the wedding; what will you do about that?”

Ariel Morris bit her lip, her voice a little somber, ”I’ll tell Arlo, but not now. Brother, don’t let it slip!”

Jorge Saxton looked at Ariel Morris’s composed face, ”Are you planning to keep it from him? Can you imagine the consequences if he finds out?”

He could be certain that with Arlo Seys’s love for his sister, knowing the truth would make him more furious than he was today.

Ariel Morris shook her head, ”I’m not trying to hide it from Arlo, just looking for the right moment to say it. I’m afraid Arlo will worry about me. I’ll tell Arlo; just wait for the right moment. Otherwise, I really don’t dare to speak out.”

If Arlo found out, he would surely forcefully take her to the hospital immediately, but she needed a month, and during this month, she wouldn’t accept any medication or treatment.

”I won’t interfere with matters between you and him. You’ll have to handle it yourself. But Ariel, if I were Arlo, I would hope you’d tell me if something were wrong. Being kept in the dark by someone you love doesn’t feel good,” Jorge Saxton advised solemnly.

Ariel Morris nodded, ”I know, I’ll tell Arlo soon. I won’t hide it.”

Jorge Saxton gazed steadily at Ariel Morris, seriously admonishing, ”Ariel, let me say it again. If you feel unwell, tell me immediately. We’ll go back to Italy for treatment right away! Nothing is more important than your health, understand? Promise me you won’t let anything happen and take care of yourself for me and Arlo!”
