Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 293: Chapter 293: Satisfying Mrs. Seys’ Longing for Her Husband

Arlo Seys chuckled softly, his eyes filled with starlight, ”Mrs. Seys, your compensation is too perfunctory. It’s better to give a little sincerity.”

”Mmm,” Ariel Morris leaned against Arlo Seys’s chest, giggling lightly, ”Mr. Seys, what scheme are you plotting now, you big bad wolf?”

Arlo’s fingertips grazed Ariel’s cheek, soft and gentle, making Ariel blush and snuggle closer into his embrace, a smile playing on her lips.

”Since you’ve already called me the big bad wolf, if I don’t do something, I wouldn’t deserve the title of a wolf.”

As Arlo spoke, he scooped up Ariel in his arms and headed toward the office cubicle’s resting lounge.

”Arlo, put me down, stop fooling around~!” Ariel’s face was buried in Arlo’s chest, her cheeks flushed as she playfully complained.

”I’m just satisfying Mrs. Seys’s longing for her husband.” Arlo said nonchalantly, a slight smile on his lips.

”But we’re at the office, Arlo. If others see us, there will be rumors and gossip again. I just want to work peacefully at Era!”

Arlo completely ignored her concerns, speaking lightly, ”Who would dare spread rumors? It’s perfectly legal for me to publicly sleep with my own wife!”

Ariel laughed softly, ”Who at Era knows we are a couple? Who knows we’re already married?”

Arlo gave her a glance, ”That’s easy. I’ll send an internal announcement immediately to clear things up. You are the Boss Lady of Era and my wife, Ariel Seys.”

”You promised me to keep a low profile and keep our relationship secret! Nobody except for Callan Walkers should know about us at the company. If you send out an announcement, everyone will think I’m favored in the company. Already, people are gossiping about me and Nicole, thinking I got the position of secretary to the president through improper means, and considering Nicole a beneficiary of nepotism.”

Even though she did get promoted to the secretary of Era’s president by marrying him, she is the legitimate, lawfully recognized wife! Nicole, too, has genuine family connections, but they both work so hard, yet they’ve been labeled as mere pretty faces, which is intolerable!

Arlo laughed, ”Everyone really guessed it right.”

”...Mr. Seys, I plan to buy a durian to bring home tonight.” Ariel gritted her teeth.

Arlo smiled, ”So Mrs. Seys has a taste for it, quite a strong flavor indeed.”

Ariel was about to say something when two cool lips pressed against hers, silencing the words she was about to utter, as Arlo gently laid Ariel on the bed.

The lighting in the resting lounge was somewhat dim.

”Mrs. Seys, it must be tough for you, suffering the pangs of longing just one door away.” Arlo teased with a smile, hinting at the document bearing his name.

”.....”

Ariel shot Arlo a sharp glare, her eyes flashing as she wore a mischievous grin and leaned in to nibble on Arlo’s ear, ”Bite you! Always bullying me!”

Arlo’s fingertips lightly brushed Ariel’s nose, his smile deep and his eyes shimmering, ”A cat with sharp teeth.”

Ariel’s eyes danced with pride, ”Bully me again, and I’ll bite you to death!”

Arlo leaned over Ariel, his voice low and husky, ”Then bite me forever, there’s a long life ahead, Mrs. Seys.”

Ariel’s face immediately turned a deep shade of red once again.

She thought impure thoughts—why did Arlo’s words make her mind wander that way? It had turned suggestive! She was supposed to be pure! Arlo, this cunning big bad wolf, had led her astray!! Ariel internally shifted the blame onto Arlo.

Arlo lowered his eyes, bending down to kiss Ariel’s luscious lips, entwining with hers gently.

Ariel only felt a tingling sensation sweep over her body, the waves of heat rising within her....
