Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 261: Chapter 261: The drug from 8 years ago wasn’t administered by Ariel Morris herself...

Arlo Seys’s gaze deepened, and he said to his two close friends, ”Cover for me, I’m taking her back first,” then walked towards the corner.

Ariel Morris was gulping down alcohol when a fair wrist reached over and dominantly took the glass from her hand. She looked up, and the reflected image in her misty eyes was of that world-renowned face with subtle eyebrows, causing her to pause and remain silent.

Arlo Seys pushed Ariel Morris along, greeted Martin Chapman, who was livening up the mood, and then headed outside.

Arlo placed Ariel in the front passenger seat, stored the wheelchair in the trunk, got in the car, stepped on the gas, and sped away.

The two of them remained silent throughout the drive, Ariel Morris staring blankly at the night view outside the window. Arlo Seys, with a calm expression, drove without speaking.

Their silence persisted until they returned to Royal View City, where Arlo carried Ariel upstairs, kicked open his apartment door, and walked inside.

When Ariel came to her senses, Arlo had already carried her to the balcony, where a slight breeze was cool and comfortable.

”Arlo Seys, what are you doing? My room is next door.”

Ariel voiced her question, and Arlo’s response was to turn away and leave.

A minute later, Arlo returned, bringing with him two bottles of red wine and two tall glasses.

Arlo’s tall figure approached, bringing a pleasant faint mint aroma. Ariel’s cheeks turned even redder, and her heart beat loudly.

Arlo handed a glass to Ariel, his voice slightly deep, ”Ariel Morris, shall we play a game?” Arlo looked at her, his gaze profound, ”A game of truth.”

Ariel pursed her lips and nodded, ”Alright, how do we play?”

Arlo poured a glass of red wine for both of them and spoke calmly, ”It’s simple, let’s modify the rules. I’ll guess your thoughts; if I guess right, you repeat, and I’ll drink. If you don’t want to answer, you drink as a penalty. Conversely, you ask me a question; if I repeat it, you drink. If I remain silent, I drink.”

”Okay.” Ariel nodded in agreement.

With the rules set, Arlo began, his voice slowly carrying weight, ”Eight years ago, Ariel Morris pursued Arlo Seys without any impurities.”

Ariel paused, then softly said, ”Eight years ago, Ariel Morris pursued Arlo Seys without any impurities.”

Arlo pursed his lips and drank the red wine in his glass in one go.

”My turn,” Ariel looked down at the red liquid in her glass, her gaze shifting, her voice slowly pouring out, ”In these eight years, Arlo Seys has never forgotten Ariel Morris.”

Arlo repeated Ariel’s words in a deep voice, and Ariel smiled lightly, then drank the wine in her glass.

Arlo: ”Arlo Seys was the one who took Ariel Morris’s first night. Except for Arlo Seys, no man has ever had her.”

Ariel repeated. Arlo willingly drank the wine in his glass, a faint smile playing at the corner of his lips, his gaze enchanting and mesmerizing.

Ariel: ”Arlo Seys has no feelings for Valeria Johnson.”

Arlo repeated. Smiling, Ariel drank the wine in her glass in one go, sweetness filling her heart.

Arlo looked at Ariel, paused, then solemnly spoke, ”Eight years ago at the Imperial Garden Hotel, it wasn’t Ariel Morris who schemed against Arlo Seys. That drug—wasn’t administered by Ariel Morris herself.”

Ariel’s fingers tensed for a moment, her gaze lowering slightly, she remained silent.

Arlo’s aggressive gaze bore into her, his voice clear and cold, ”Ariel Morris, if you’re playing the game, you need to be earnest! This is no fun otherwise!”

Several seconds later, Ariel slowly lifted her gaze to Arlo, her voice slightly bitter, ”No matter when, Ariel Morris would never scheme against Arlo Seys. That drug—believe it or not, it wasn’t me.”
