Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

The next day, Lu Yu returned to Beigang City by plane in the afternoon. Without taking a moment to rest after returning, he hailed a cab and headed straight for the Victory Group.

The only reason he knew that Song Qiguang was still alive was thanks to the findings of Leng Qingqiu. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have known Song Qiguang was alive, let alone living so well!

If it weren’t for Leng Qingqiu’s online search results, Song Qiguang might have continued to live in leisure.

It was precisely because of this that Lu Yu wanted to meet Leng Qingqiu immediately upon his return.

Since Leng Qingqiu had helped him so much, as a token of appreciation, Lu Yu naturally felt obliged to keep his promise and tell Leng Qingqiu the whole story.

Arriving at Leng Qingqiu’s office, he saw her sitting at her desk, staring at the computer screen with slightly furrowed brows, exuding a kind of serious beauty.

On the computer screen in front of Leng Qingqiu, the latest news from Beigang City was displayed. At the top of the webpage was a headline in bold: ”Shocking: Beigang City Police Department Senior Assistant Chief Song Qiguang Died after Falling Drunk into the Water, Devoured by Sharks!”

Leng Qingqiu had only just seen this news, and it filled her with complex emotions.

Although the report said that Song Qiguang drowned because he was drunk, Leng Qingqiu knew very well that Lu Yu was behind all of this!

Lu Yu had just mentioned he was going to Beigang City, and now, two days later, Song Qiguang, Lu Yu’s enemy, was dead, devoured by sharks. Leng Qingqiu found it hard to believe this had nothing to do with Lu Yu!

Leng Qingqiu was in a state of internal conflict and confusion. She was very curious yet baffled by Lu Yu.

She knew that Lu Yu had a dark past, but she never understood what exactly that darkness entailed.

Now, with the appearance of such a report, Leng Qingqiu got a glimpse of Lu Yu’s dark side.

Feeding a living person to sharks in such a manner sent chills down her spine!

”I’m back.”

As Leng Qingqiu was staring blankly at the computer screen, Lu Yu sat on the chair in front of her, speaking in a calm tone.

Hearing this, Leng Qingqiu was slightly startled. She turned the computer screen toward Lu Yu, pointed at the news, and asked, ”Did you do this?”

For some reason, even though she knew it was Lu Yu’s doing, Leng Qingqiu still wanted to ask him directly.

She wanted to hear Lu Yu admit it himself.

”I did it.”

Without hesitation, Lu Yu admitted it calmly, speaking in a straightforward manner: ”I threw him alive into the water and watched as the sharks devoured him!”

His voice was steady, as if recounting a commonplace event.

”I want to know the detailed reason.”

In response to Lu Yu’s remarks, Leng Qingqiu spoke with unusual calmness: ”Before you left, you said you would tell me the detailed reason upon your return.”

Having been in the business world for a long time, Leng Qingqiu was not emotionally driven. Even though she knew Lu Yu fed Song Qiguang alive to sharks, she refrained from jumping to conclusions.

This was because she was not clear about what happened two years ago!

Without understanding the context, it was impossible to judge right from wrong. Therefore, Leng Qingqiu wanted to uncover the events of the past, which drove Lu Yu to such brutal actions against Song Qiguang!

”No problem.”

With a slight smile, Lu Yu said, ”I came over for that very reason.”

”Then you may begin.”

Leng Qingqiu took a deep breath, leaned forward, and prepared to listen to what Lu Yu was about to say, clearly ready to hear about his experience in Beigang City.

Upon hearing this, Lu Yu smiled faintly, shook his head, and then composed himself, speaking in a calm manner: ”After leaving Paradise Island, I and my companions drifted to Beigang City and lived there for about a month.”

”A month?”

Surprised, Leng Qingqiu expressed, she wasn’t aware Lu Yu had such an experience.

”That’s right, precisely forty days.”

Lu Yu smiled lightly and continued, ”After escaping from Paradise Island, we found ourselves in Beigang City, penniless, and had to do hard labor at the docks for some wages, to make plans for the future.”

”Why didn’t you report it to the authorities? Although Beigang City is autonomous, if you went to the police, they could still send you home.”

Leng Qingqiu asked with curiosity in her voice. Generally, a missing person appearing in another city could contact the police and be sent home.

”Home?”

Lu Yu let out a bitter laugh and said, ”Where do I still have a home?”

Upon hearing this, Leng Qingqiu was momentarily speechless, not knowing how to respond.

Five years ago, Lu Yu’s parents passed away, the Lu Family disintegrated overnight, leaving Lu Yu without a home since then!

Seeing Leng Qingqiu’s expression, Lu Yu shook his head, saying, ”Moreover, we did go to the Beigang City police, but they mocked and ridiculed our situation, and refused to handle our case. Left with no choice, we had to find another way in Beigang City.”

This statement elicited a sense of melancholy in Leng Qingqiu, who could feel the helplessness in Lu Yu’s words.

After barely escaping the hell of Paradise Island, the local police offered them no assistance, creating an overwhelming sense of despair.

”Since the police didn’t help you, how did you end up in conflict with the Flying Tiger Team?”

Reflecting on this, Leng Qingqiu asked, knowing that while the Flying Tiger Team belongs to the same system as the Beigang police, they are a special police unit not typically involved in standard cases.

Given that the police initially refused Lu Yu’s request for help, how did they later clash with the Flying Tiger Team, and how did Lu Yu’s three companions die at the hands of the Flying Tiger Team?

For now, Leng Qingqiu felt even more curious and confused.
