Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

Lu Yu’s past is not only dark and bloody but also incredibly oppressive. Any single element from these events is enough to break a normal person. If one’s will is slightly weaker, they might even go insane on the spot!

But five years ago, as the most famous playboy in LA City, who indulged in every pleasure imaginable, Lu Yu went through all of this and didn’t go insane!

Just how strong must one’s will be to endure such a dark, bloody, and extremely oppressive past?

Thinking of this, Leng Qingqiu inadvertently showed a trace of admiration in her eyes as she looked at Lu Yu.

Seemingly seeing through Leng Qingqiu’s thoughts, Lu Yu smiled slightly at this moment. Looking into her clear eyes, he said, ”This world is fair. What cannot destroy you will certainly make you stronger. Only after enduring the trials of Hell can you have the power to create Heaven!”

Lu Yu said this lightly, but it was extremely powerful. In his words, Lu Yu’s thoughts flowed, as if he was explaining to Leng Qingqiu, or perhaps evaluating his own past.

”Alright.”

After saying this, Lu Yu pointed to the nearby cinema and said, ”We’ve been wandering aimlessly on the street for half a day; let’s go watch a movie now and relax a bit.”

Lu Yu knew very well in his heart how bloody and oppressive his experiences were.

Ordinary people would feel extremely depressed and uncomfortable after hearing about his experiences, let alone a young girl like Leng Qingqiu.

Precisely because of this, Lu Yu suggested going to the cinema to let Leng Qingqiu relax a little.

”Okay.”

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Leng Qingqiu nodded and expressed her agreement.

The experiences Lu Yu just recounted truly made Leng Qingqiu feel waves of oppression. So now she also wanted to watch a movie to divert her thoughts and relax.

”In that case, let’s go.”

With that, Lu Yu directly took hold of Leng Qingqiu’s slender, fair hand and headed towards the cinema.

As soon as her hand was held by Lu Yu’s large hand, Leng Qingqiu’s body couldn’t help but slightly tremble, and a trace of barely noticeable shyness flashed across her beautiful face.

It was important to know that this was the first time Leng Qingqiu’s hand was held by a man other than her father. Although she couldn’t avoid shaking hands in business cooperation, such a ceremonial handshake felt entirely different from being directly led by the hand.

This feeling truly surprised her, bringing a hint of shyness along with it.

However, Leng Qingqiu did not pull her hand back at this moment but continued to let Lu Yu lead her into the cinema. To outsiders, she and Lu Yu seemed like a sweet couple who had just started dating, which made people very envious.

...

Sitting in the cinema with Leng Qingqiu, watching a blood-pumping action movie on the screen, Lu Yu was feeling drowsy. Although he liked watching movies, he preferred blockbuster Hollywood films with impressive visual effects, and he was not interested in these action films at all.

After all, in his eyes, those incredibly cool and powerful moves in the movie would be fatal several times over in real combat.

However, fortunately, Leng Qingqiu’s reaction was quite good. After watching the movie for a while, her mood significantly improved, and her face returned to its normal calm appearance.

A moment later, this nearly two-hour-long movie was coming to an end. The already sparse audience also began to leave their seats and gradually exited the screening hall.

Once all the audience members left, only Lu Yu and Leng Qingqiu were left in the vast screening hall. Under the cover of darkness, the environment suddenly became quiet.

”Alright, now that the movie is over, we should proceed to the next stage.”

Seeing the credits appear on the screen, Lu Yu smiled slightly and said to Leng Qingqiu, with a hint of humor in his words.

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Leng Qingqiu’s heart skipped a beat. Just as she was about to say something, suddenly, an unexpected change occurred!

Bam! Bam!

With two muffled closing sounds, the previously open exits of the screening hall were all sealed!

In an instant, except for the pale light from the screen, everything around plunged into darkness!

”Mr. Lu, meeting a beauty tonight, your vigilance has greatly decreased. I wonder if this is carelessness or unexpected?”

At this moment, a low voice echoed in the empty screening hall, reverberating as if it came from all directions.

”Don’t panic, I’ve got this!”

Hearing this voice, Lu Yu said to Leng Qingqiu beside him, with a trace of calm in his words.

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s reassurance, Leng Qingqiu also nodded, appearing very composed.

For some reason, Lu Yu’s presence beside her filled her heart with a warm sense of security.

”You’ve got this?!”

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s words, the low voice sounded again, ”Lu Yu, you dare say such words without observing your surroundings? Are you being overconfident?”

Snap!

As these words were spoken, the previously pitch-black lights in the screening hall suddenly turned on, revealing everything around!

At the moment the lights came on, Lu Yu’s eyes narrowed slightly, revealing a hint of seriousness!

Because, in the large screening hall, they were surrounded by a group of men dressed in black hooded robes, wearing black masks!

Each of these men was fully armed, carrying firearms, and all were aiming their weapons at Lu Yu, looking menacing and extremely intimidating!

”Shadow Martial Alliance?!”

Seeing the attire of the men before him, Lu Yu said coldly, with a touch of icy disdain in his words.

Since the last attack against him, he knew that Bernstein of the Shadow Martial Alliance would come to LA City.

And now, suddenly surrounded by so many fully armed Shadow Martial Alliance members, it was clear that this was Bernstein’s doing!

With this in mind, Lu Yu held Leng Qingqiu’s soft, boneless hand, soothing her while scanning everyone present, and said aloud, ”Mr. Bernstein, orchestrating an ambush with over fifty fully armed Shadow Martial Alliance members, don’t you intend to show yourself?”

In his words, Lu Yu’s voice remained steady, without a trace of fear, resonating throughout the screening hall, exuding an air of calm.
