Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

Looking at Wen Xiu Jie, whom he had just beheaded, a trace of coldness appeared in Lu Yu’s eyes.

As they say, a natural disaster can be forgiven, but self-inflicted harm cannot be survived!

Years ago, when Wen Xiu Jie believed Tang Haishan’s words and expelled Wen Ya and her mother from the Wen Family because her mother couldn’t bear a son, leaving them to fend for themselves, he should have foreseen this outcome!

Everything today is the result of the Wen Family’s own doing, they can’t blame anyone else!

If not for Wen Xiu Jie’s cold heartlessness and Tang Haishan’s incitement, Wen Ya’s mother would not have been driven out, nor would she have worked herself to an early grave to raise Wen Ya, depriving Wen Ya of a happy childhood.

But now, it’s too late to say anything; no matter how hard one tries, what’s already happened cannot be changed!

And now with the deaths of Wen Xiu Jie and Tang Haishan, it’s a form of consolation for Wen Ya’s mother.

Thinking this, Lu Yu dropped the knife in his hand to the ground, then slowly turned and walked out of the abandoned apartment building, heading towards the little tavern...

Back at the tavern run by Wen Ya’s mother, Lu Yu immediately saw Wen Ya standing at the entrance. She was looking around, her beautiful, enchanting face showing signs of anxiety, looking very worried.

Seeing this, Lu Yu felt a slight warmth in his heart, knowing that after a battle, seeing an elegant beauty waiting for him was an incredibly warm feeling.

Thinking this, Lu Yu shook his head slightly, then came up behind Wen Ya and said, ”What are you looking at?”

Startled, Wen Ya saw Lu Yu and said, ”Lu Yu, are you okay!?”

Wen Ya had seen the seven or eight youths wielding knives earlier, which is why she was so anxious, waiting at the tavern door, fearing something might happen to Lu Yu.

After all, all of this happened because Lu Yu was helping her, and if something happened to him, she’d feel very guilty.

”Of course I’m fine,”

Lu Yu smiled slightly and said, ”It’s not like you just met me today. Dealing with a few knife-wielding thugs, what’s so hard about that?”

”That’s good to hear.”

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s words, Wen Ya let out a slight sigh of relief, visibly more relaxed.

Evidently, Wen Ya had been worried sick about Lu Yu earlier, fearing that, because of her, he’d get into trouble.

”Alright, don’t think too much about it.”

Hearing Wen Ya’s words, Lu Yu smiled slightly, patted her on the shoulder, and then said, ”That bottle of wine earlier was really good, I’m still thinking about it. I’ll have to finish it when we go in.”

The words were lighthearted, but Wen Ya saw a trace of reliability and warmth in Lu Yu.

This man always steps up to help her when she needs it most, and such a person fills her heart with warmth and a long-lost sense of security.

Thinking this, Wen Ya looked up at Lu Yu and said, ”Lu Yu, thank you so much.”

Sincerity filled Wen Ya’s eyes as she looked into Lu Yu’s.

Lu Yu had continuously helped her a great deal. If not for Lu Yu, the consequences could have been unimaginable!

Neither Wenxuan nor Wen Xiu Jie were people she, a weak woman, could handle!

Wen Ya knew the help Lu Yu provided today was something she could never repay, not even by giving herself to him!

”Alright.”

Hearing Wen Ya’s words, Lu Yu smiled and said, ”I help you out, and you treat me to your mother’s ten-year-old wine, isn’t that perfectly normal?”

”But...”

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Wen Ya said. After all, how could Lu Yu’s help be repaid with just wine?

”Alright, no more ’buts’!”

Lu Yu said, ”I got involved in this myself, so stop thanking me, or I’ll smack your butt.”

His tone was light, as if nothing had happened.

”But, I still want to say thank you...”

Before Wen Ya could finish, Lu Yu slapped her ample rear!

Smack!

A crisp sound echoed at the tavern’s door, and at that moment, Lu Yu and Wen Ya seemed like a couple flirting, looking quite ambiguous.

Feeling Lu Yu’s action, Wen Ya trembled slightly.

”I told you, if you thank me again, I’ll smack your butt, and I always keep my word,” Lu Yu said, full of smiles. ”Also, let’s go in, I really want to drink that wine.”

His words were filled with humor.

Hearing this, Wen Ya smiled slightly, then looked at Lu Yu and said, ”Lu Yu, you really are an amusing little brother.”

”And you’re a very lovely big sister,” Lu Yu said, glancing at Wen Ya.

With that, a slight smile appeared on Wen Ya’s face. She lifted her head slightly and looked at the tavern, her eyes showing a hint of nostalgia, her beautiful face slightly bitter.

This scene made her remember the times with her mother, laughing through tough times.

At that moment, Wen Ya felt warmth in her hand, and she saw Lu Yu holding her hand. Looking up at the tavern her mother once tended, Lu Yu said with a smile, ”Rest assured, I’ve handled everything. From now on, the Wen Family won’t trouble you again!”

Lu Yu’s words were calm, as if he was speaking to Wen Ya and her departed mother, filled with assurance.

After saying this, Lu Yu patted Wen Ya’s shoulder and said, ”Let’s go in.”

”Mm!”

Hearing Lu Yu, Wen Ya nodded. Suddenly, warmth welled up in her heart, akin to the warmth of her mother taking care of her at the tavern door, a sense of comforting belonging.
