Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

The night was exceptionally tranquil, and under the flickering neon lights, the entire city appeared dazzling and colorful.

At this moment, in a rather secluded apartment in LA City, a short-haired man with bulging muscles was sitting on a chair, making a phone call.

If one observed closely, they would realize that this man was the sniper who had just been chased by Lu Yu!

”Hey, I’ve taken care of Lu Jingchuan, almost had the truth exposed by him.”

The man spoke in a bland tone as he lit a cigarette for himself, taking a deep drag and blowing out a puff of white smoke.

”Well done.”

A raspy voice came from the other end of the call, evidently processed for disguise: ”You didn’t leave any traces this time, right?”

”No, rest assured, the bullets are custom-made by me, impossible to trace back. Those cops definitely won’t track me down.” The man replied coolly, his words filled with calmness: ”On the contrary, the surviving kid from the Lu Family is quite troublesome!”

”Oh?”

Hearing the man’s words, the voice on the phone sounded quite interested: ”What’s so troublesome about the kid from the Lu Family?”

”At a distance of over twenty meters, he can easily leap over, and he can lift a grown man with ease as if he’s holding a chick. Moreover, his reflexes are exceptionally quick, and he runs incredibly fast. I nearly got caught by him!”

The man took a deep drag on his cigarette again, his words heavy with a serious expression in his eyes.

”What?!”

The man on the phone was instantly shocked: ”How could he do that? Five years ago, he was just a spoiled brat who only knew how to eat, drink and have fun!”

”I wouldn’t know about that.”

The man said indifferently: ”By the way, during the chase, his actions and dodges were very agile, he clearly has received professional training!”

”That’s impossible!”

The voice on the phone exclaimed with disbelief: ”That was just a deserted island, where would he receive professional training?”

”I wouldn’t know about that.”

The man smoked his cigarette to the end and then said, ”I’m just telling you, the kid from the Lu Family isn’t as easy to deal with as we thought. How to handle it is up to you!”

”Understood!”

The voice on the phone came through with a cold tone: ”Stay hidden, don’t make any moves for now. Since Lu Yu is as you described, I need to think things over carefully!”

”No problem.”

The man’s face suddenly revealed a slight smile: ”Given his abilities, he definitely won’t find my hiding spot!”

”Very well, I’ll keep this short. You know what to do, this call is over, contact if there’s anything else!”

The voice on the other end of the phone spoke with a hint of urgency, and instantly hung up.

”Hmph.”

Hearing the busy tone, the man chuckled coldly to himself and remarked with some amusement, ”Lu Yu? Interesting!”

...

The following morning, Lu Yu slowly woke up, instantly smelling a fragrant aroma. He walked out of his bedroom with a puzzled face and quickly saw Meng Yue busy in his kitchen making porridge. Judging by the scent, it seemed to be the Awakening Soup he had taught her.

”Is the sun rising from the west today? Why are you here so early making porridge for me?”

Seeing Meng Yue, Lu Yu jokingly asked, his words laced with amusement.

”I’m repaying you for saving me last time!”

Meng Yue replied with a slight smile, a faint smile appearing on her otherwise stern face.

Seeing Meng Yue’s smile, Lu Yu shook his head. Last time he had tied her up to suck out snake venom and detoxify her, it seemed this little girl had finally learned to be grateful.

”Here, try it out.”

Meng Yue placed a bowl of green Awakening Soup in front of Lu Yu: ”I made this personally following your recipe, try it out.”

Hearing her words, Lu Yu shook his head, then slowly picked up the bowl and took a small sip.

As soon as the soup entered his mouth, a refreshing taste surged down his throat, making him feel clear-headed and rejuvenated.

”How is it?”

Meng Yue eagerly asked, full of anticipation.

”Not bad, you’ve truly captured my essence.”

Lu Yu nodded appreciatively, secretly impressed by Meng Yue. Although she seemed carefree, she surprisingly had a knack for this; she perfectly recreated the Awakening Soup on her first try.

”Yay! That’s great! I can make it for my parents tomorrow morning!”

Overjoyed at Lu Yu’s approval, Meng Yue exclaimed, her words filled with excitement.

Hearing this, Lu Yu paused, then realized what was going on.

So she used me as a test subject the whole time?!

With this thought, he looked at Meng Yue and said, ”Hey, it’s too much using me as a guinea pig, don’t you think?”

”Really?”

Meng Yue pointed at a pink insulated lunch box on the table, ”Didn’t I make chicken soup noodles to compensate you?”

Upon hearing that, Lu Yu’s eyes widened and he stared speechlessly at the lunch box.

Now he completely understood, there’s no such thing as a free meal! Last night while he relished the chicken soup noodles, they were basically Meng Yue’s compensation for using him as a guinea pig today!

Realizing this, Lu Yu wordlessly finished the soup in one gulp.

Seeing him finish the soup, Meng Yue smiled and said cheerfully, ”Since you drank my soup, accompany me to buy some ingredients for making more soup, okay?”

”Why should I?”

Lu Yu protested, ”I have work to do later!”

”Because you drank the soup I made for you,” Meng Yue replied matter-of-factly.

”Come on! Isn’t this soup you made to test on me?”

Lu Yu retorted.

”If it tastes bad it’s a test, if it tastes good it’s a favor. Since you had my soup, you owe me a trip to get soup ingredients!”

Meng Yue said confidently, her charming face bearing an irresistible cuteness.
