I, the Destined Villain, Start by Controlling the Saint

Ye Tian’s GiftOriginally, within the separate courtyard, zithers and flutes played in harmony, and Xiao Fan enjoyed Luo Ruyan’s service, feeling relaxed and at ease.

However, Ye Tian’s sudden arrival caused the scene to fall into a strange silence.

Luo Ruyan was startled, thinking, ’Ah?’

Although Ye Tian and she had met a few times in the Lower Realm, they didn’t have much interaction.

They both belonged to the same Human Realm, and after Ascension into a new environment, they could now barely be considered ordinary friends.

Luo Ruyan was still somewhat touched that Ye Tian stood up for her.

But, ’I already have a man now, if you come looking for me again, what will Xiao Fan think?’

Luo Ruyan ignored Ye Tian and instead looked nervously at Xiao Fan, afraid he would misunderstand.

Without responding to Ye Tian at all, she anxiously said to Xiao Fan:

”Xiao Fan, I have no relationship with Ye Tian. He and I merely Ascended from the same realm. To use a Mortal’s words, we are barely fellow villagers.”

”I have no idea why he came to find me, nor do I know why he stood up for me. You must believe me.”

Her jade hand, which had been playing the zither, clenched into a fist, and her peach-blossom eyes looked nervously at Xiao Fan.

Inwardly, she complained, ’Why did he come? What if Xiao Fan misunderstands me!’

Xiao Fan remained expressionless, merely holding her small hands and softly saying:

”I believe you, but I don’t want to see strange men appear by your side. Can you understand what I mean?”

Although there was no hint of Life Qi, it struck Luo Ruyan like a thunderbolt when it reached her ears. His possessiveness was still so strong.

No, I must draw a clear line with Ye Tian!

”Whatever it is, just say it outside. This is my private courtyard, and it’s not convenient for strangers to enter.”

Luo Ruyan said indifferently, with a hint of impatience in her tone, ’Get lost!’

She was very confused as to why Ye Tian could enter, even reaching the front of her courtyard.

At this moment, Luo Ruyan still did not know the power of Ye Tian’s status as a Holy Institute Seed Disciple. He merely displayed his identity, and the Miao Ling of Mystic Bliss Convent would not dare to stop him.

She could only give him directions.

Originally, Ye Tian was full of anticipation, thinking that he had beaten Wang Teng into an unrecognizable state and protected Luo Ruyan.

And with the posture of a victor, and the identity of a Holy Institute Seed Disciple, he came to meet her. In his imagination, as soon as he arrived, she should be moved to tears, crying and throwing herself into his arms.

For this reunion, he even changed his usual low-key attire, putting on a flashy outfit, all for this meeting.

His hair had been combed thousands of times, and he had changed dozens of outfits before being satisfied. Even the boots he wore were carefully selected to match this ensemble.

It could be said that this was the most meticulously dressed Ye Tian had ever been.

But the current situation was that he wasn’t even allowed to enter the door.

Ye Tian suddenly felt as if he had become some kind of clown.

”That’s right, it must be my problem. Ruyan and I are not close, and I came to see her so suddenly without giving her prior notice.”

”What if she was washing up? Or perhaps she was diligently cultivating to improve her cultivation!”

”I was negligent.”

Thinking this, Ye Tian felt a little guilty. ’So the problem was with me.’

”My sudden visit was a bit presumptuous. I apologize to you here.”

”I came this time to give you something and to tell you that Wang Teng has been defeated by me. You don’t have to worry about him bothering you. I, Ye Tian, will surely grant you freedom; no one can force you.”

He said with conviction.

Upon hearing this, Luo Ruyan panicked. ’We’re not even ordinary friends, yet you fought for me and defeated Wang Teng.’

’What kind of situation are you putting me in? What will Xiao Fan think of me!’

Luo Ruyan looked at Xiao Fan and said, ”Xiao Fan, he and I really have no relationship. Please believe me.”

She looked pitiful and flustered.

Xiao Fan gently embraced her delicate body, pulling her into his arms, and said with a smile, ”I believe you, but I’m still very upset right now, and my temper is flaring!”

”What do you think I should do?”

Luo Ruyan was stunned. ’What did he mean by his temper flaring?’

However, she quickly understood what ’temper flaring’ meant.

”But, now is not appropriate.”

”Then when is appropriate?” Xiao Fan said with an unchanging expression.

Luo Ruyan was speechless and could only lower her head in acknowledgment of her mistake.

Luo Ruyan was very busy, so busy that she had no time to answer Ye Tian.

Ye Tian waited for a long time and, seeing no response from Luo Ruyan, inevitably felt a little anxious.

”Am I pushing too hard?”

”Possibly. Our relationship in the Lower Realm was merely a fleeting acquaintance. Coming so suddenly and fighting for her, it might seem too purposeful. Will she think I have ill intentions?”

Some things cannot be rushed, Ye Tian understood, and he no longer wished to linger.

Take it slow. I have all the time and patience in the world.

Ye Tian said apologetically, ”I was presumptuous. My mistake.”

”This is a small token of my regard, an Immortal Artifact robe I exchanged for you. It’s at the entrance.”

After speaking, Ye Tian placed the jade box containing the prepared gift at the entrance, then turned to leave.

Luo Ruyan choked and coughed.

Ye Tian suddenly stopped, and said with some curiosity, ”What’s wrong, Ruyan? Is something the matter?”

Luo Ruyan looked at Xiao Fan resentfully. This guy was doing it on purpose.

Ye Tian was a little anxious. ’Why isn’t she answering me?’

”Ruyan, are you alright? Has something happened? Do you need my help?”

Luo Ruyan was extremely impatient. ’My man and I are being affectionate; why are you making so much noise? Annoying.’

”I was eating and choked.”

”Can you please stop making noise? You’re ruining my appetite.”

”I’m fine. We are just ordinary friends. Can you please leave? I’m so grateful to you!”

Luo Ruyan said coldly, her face full of ice.

But in a blink of an eye, her gaze towards Xiao Fan was full of tenderness again.

It seemed to be saying: ’He and I truly have no relationship; I only love you.’

Xiao Fan looked at her, full of tenderness and immense affection.

Feeling Xiao Fan’s love, Luo Ruyan’s heart was filled with satisfaction. He truly believed her.

Upon hearing Luo Ruyan’s words, Ye Tian only felt that he was disliked. ’Alas, perhaps my intentions were not pure.’

He left the Spring Breeze Pavilion and returned to the Holy Institute, leaving behind only a jade box containing an Immortal Artifact robe.

Ye Tian had already gone far. Xiao Fan opened the door, took the jade box into his hand, and opened it.

It turned out to be a magnificent light-green Immortal Artifact robe.

”Heh, he certainly knows how to please women. His gifts are quite unique.”

With Xiao Fan’s discerning eye, he could naturally tell that this was an Immortal Artifact of no low grade. Conservatively estimated, it had to be a sixth-grade Immortal Artifact.

A sixth-grade Immortal Artifact was something even a Heavenly Immortal would treasure.

”This gift is quite valuable,” Xiao Fan said with a half-smile.

”You understand, I didn’t accept it.”

”I don’t like it. Tear it up.” He threw the Immortal Artifact robe to Luo Ruyan.

Luo Ruyan didn’t hesitate at all, pulling out a sword, ready to hack it to pieces.

”I don’t like tearing it like this,” Xiao Fan stopped Luo Ruyan.

”You really are a bad guy.”
