I, the Destined Villain, Start by Controlling the Saint

Zhao Linger: I listen to Master; Ye Tian’s traditional nesting doll routine in the Holy AcademyBeside Xin Xi’s Immortal Cave, Zhao Linger sat sulking in a small dark room, her face filled with sadness.

“Revered Master got angry at me for a man! Does she not want Ling’er anymore?”

“I heard that, according to Mortal customs, love between a man and a woman is normal, but how could Revered Master, such a perfect person, belong to him!”

“She even called him Young Master, Revered Master. Is it possible that Master Xinxi she…”

She didn’t dare to think further, otherwise, she was afraid she would overthink things.

Zhao Linger had a possessive streak; Yu Yue Revered Master and Master Xinxi were both very important people in her life.

If possible, she wanted to follow her two Revered Masters forever.

The difference was that this possession was not a possessiveness of love, but of importance in her heart. If Revered Master had him in her heart, would I still have a place in Revered Master’s heart?

Would Revered Master distance herself from me, and would I become a homeless orphan again?

The more she thought about it, the more scared she became. No, she had to drive this man away from Revered Master!

While she was lost in thought, a small jade rabbit outside the Yaochi Immortal Hall was munching on things, its mouth wide open, two rabbit paws still clutching a pile of fruits. It stood upright, looking somewhat comical.

“Revered Master, you, why are you grounded again? Did you make Xin Xi Palace Revered Master angry?” It mumbled, chewing as it spoke.

“Eat, eat, eat! All you know is eating! I’m dying of anxiety, and all you know is eating.”

As she spoke, seeing how happily it ate, Zhao Linger became even more annoyed.

She snatched the fruits from its two rabbit paws and devoured them in a fit of pique.

Only two empty rabbit paws remained, and a rabbit frozen in shock.

“Revered Master, how could you snatch my fruits? You promised you picked them for me.”

“So annoying! If you keep complaining, believe it or not, I’ll eat roasted rabbit tomorrow.” Zhao Linger threatened.

Frightened, the small jade rabbit dared not say more. It lowered its head, its two long, upright ears drooping, and meekly said:

“Um, Revered Master, what flavor of fruit do you want? I’ll pick them all for you. Sour, sweet, or sweet and sour?”

Scheming rabbit!

If Revered Master eats too much, she probably won’t eat me, right?

“Scram!”

Zhao Linger was very annoyed. This little rabbit was so silly; playing with it would surely lower her IQ.

As if granted a great pardon, the small jade rabbit transformed into a white blur and vanished with a whoosh.

“It’s better not to come over these next few days, lest Revered Master loses her temper again.”

“Yaochi Immortal Hall, here I come, little rabbit!”

She left happily. As for Revered Master, it would be best if she stayed confined for a few more days—no, it would be best if she could turn over a new leaf and come out soon. I will keep her company outside.

Never abandoning her! If you don’t come out for a day, I won’t leave the Yaochi Immortal Hall for a day! The little rabbit swore!!

“Hehe, the Vermilion Bird Blood Fruit is ripe. I’ll just take a look, just one look.”

Xiao Fan walked out of Xin Xi’s Immortal Cave. This Dual Cultivation with Wu Lingyun had raised his strength by another level.

Late Stage Human Immortal!

After a period of settling, once his Foundation was solid, he would be able to advance to Earth Immortal.

He had only been in the Immortal Realm for two months, and within the Yaochi Immortal Palace, he had raised his Cultivation to the Late Stage Human Immortal and awakened four hundred million Primal Elephant Micro-Particles.

His strength soared!

He pushed open the door and entered the small dark room where Zhao Linger was contemplating her mistakes.

“I’ll just eat, eat, eat, eat, eat! See if I don’t bite you to death, bite you to death, bite you to death…”

She was treating the fruit as the hateful Xiao Fan.

“Let you snatch my Revered Master! I’ll bite you to death!”

Light streamed in, a hazy glow illuminating Zhao Linger’s delicate, jade-like face, which was somewhat plump from eating the fruit.

Golden-yellow fruit juice stained her pretty face, making her look somewhat exasperated.

She was still muttering words like “bite you to death,” which looked somewhat amusing.

With the door wide open, Zhao Linger’s heart rejoiced. Had Master Xinxi come over?

She quickly stood up, dropped the fruit, and didn’t forget to wipe her mouth. After confirming it was clean, she went up and tugged on Xiao Fan’s arm, fawning playfully.

“Revered Master, Ling’er knew you wouldn’t abandon Ling’er…”

Until she saw Xiao Fan’s face, her expression instantly froze.

“You still say you’re not a little pervert.” Xiao Fan said with a half-smile, tugging on her little pigtail.

“Ouch, that hurts! How is it you, you little thief!” Zhao Linger shook off his hand and said indignantly, “Where is my Master Xinxi? You, what did you do to my Master Xinxi? Why is she listening to you!”

Zhao Linger was puzzled. Her two Revered Masters were invincible in the world; not to mention the Eternal Immortal Domain, they were among the top-ranked in all the Immortal Domains of the Immortal Realm.

“Revered Master? Your Revered Master sold you to me. Now you have to listen to me.” Xiao Fan laughed.

“Sold?” Zhao Linger scoffed, “Hmph, there’s a limit to lying. I’m Revered Master’s most cherished little darling; how could she possibly sell me…”

Her words seemed to catch in her throat, and she couldn’t utter the next sentence.

Around Xiao Fan’s wrist, a gleaming Yaochi Immortal Silk was tied.

That was Master Xinxi’s Lifebound Treasure, Zhao Linger recognized it clearly.

“You!” Her face was filled with disbelief.

“Did my Revered Master really sell me?” She lowered her head dejectedly, sobbing silently.

This nearly made her cry. Xiao Fan shook his head, thinking, “You’re so grown up, and you’re still crying?”

“I was tricking you. Your Master Xinxi said that as long as I forgive you, the matter is over.”

“Really?” She looked up in surprise, asking somewhat eagerly.

“Really.”

“I apologize for my recklessness.” She immediately said, bowing deeply and politely. Her two delicate little pigtails also hung down.

Her mood changed faster than flipping a book!

“What good is an apology? You need to show some practical action.” Xiao Fan said indifferently.

Zhao Linger thought for a moment and then had an idea. She walked to the door and shouted outside.

“Little Jade, come back quickly!”

Xiao Fan didn’t quite understand, but seeing her seriousness, he figured she must be quite sincere.

The next moment, a small rabbit ran over, standing on two legs, its front two paws clutching a pile of tempting red fruits, its mouth still bulging.

“Revered Master.” The little rabbit ran to her jade feet, looked up at her, still chewing incessantly.

Without another word, Zhao Linger directly pulled its ears. The fruits it held in its two paws fell to the ground with a crisp sound. Its two ruby-like eyes stared at the fallen fruits, full of heartache.

Zhao Linger handed the little jade rabbit to Xiao Fan, her beautiful eyes intently fixed on Xiao Fan, and said solemnly:

“This is my favorite playmate, Little Jade.

How about I let her play with you for two days as my apology?”

“Huh?” Xiao Fan thought he had misheard.

Although it was a rabbit, why did it feel like she was asking a woman to accompany him?

“Little Jade is very obedient, aren’t you, Little Jade?”

Too late to feel heartache for those few fruits, Little Jade put away her sadness and nodded, saying:

“Mm, I’m very obedient.”

Darn it, treating me like a child! Ridiculous!

“Tricking a child? Absolutely no sincerity!” Xiao Fan said with disdain.

“But this is my most sincere apology.” Zhao Linger said, feeling wronged.

“Actually, you could be even more sincere.” Xiao Fan said.

“You say it.”

She glanced at the little jade rabbit, then threw it away in disgust. Useless thing!

“Oh no, Revered Master, you can’t do this!” Although it was gone, its voice lingered.

Xiao Fan looked at her actions and didn’t know what to say. Summoned with a call, dismissed with a wave?

“How about this, you take me out for a stroll. You are a Golden Immortal Cultivator, and I am just a small Human Immortal fish. How about you be my bodyguard?”

“Body-bodyguard!” Zhao Linger thought she had misheard.

You could beat me up with one hand, and you want me to be your bodyguard?

“What, unwilling?”

“No, it’s not that.” She raised her jade hands, shaking them to indicate it wasn’t.

“If I’m going out, I need to tell Master Xinxi first. I can only go out if she agrees.”

“You’re that obedient?” Xiao Fan teased.

“Hmph, what do you know? What if Master Xinxi worries about me if she can’t find me?” She said proudly, with a hint of haughtiness.

It seemed that being cared for by Xin Xi was something to be very proud of.

“Alright, alright, I’ll take you there.”

Zhao Linger giggled, “Okay, actually, I’ve wanted to go out and play for a long time, but Revered Master always says my Cultivation is too low and the outside world is very dangerous. I’d definitely encounter bad people if I went out.”

“Then why don’t you sneak out?”

Zhao Linger replied, “No, I have to listen to Revered Master.”

“They spoil you so much, if you ran out to play by yourself, they wouldn’t scold you, right?”

Zhao Linger replied, “No, I can’t. If I don’t listen, Revered Master will get angry. I can’t make Revered Master angry.”

“…”

Xiao Fan understood. This Zhao Linger was extremely dependent on Xin Xi and Yu Yue. She seemed mischievous on the surface but had the characteristics of a good child deep down.

Interesting.

…

“Revered Master, you mean you agreed?”

“When you’re out, listen to the Young Master, and treat him with more respect than you treat me, understand?”

“Revered Master, who is he?”

“Why are you asking so many questions? Just obey, okay?”

“Oh.” Zhao Linger replied, then skipped out of Xin Xi’s Immortal Cave, wearing a vibrant vermilion dress, lively and agile, like a dancing fire spirit.

“Let’s go, Revered Master agreed.”

She dragged Xiao Fan out as if Xiao Fan wasn’t threatening her, but rather she was actively wanting to go out and play.

Her mood changed faster than flipping a book. Hmph, women!

“Where are we going?” Zhao Linger asked curiously.

“The Spring Breeze Pavilion run by the Mystic Bliss Convent.”

Zhao Linger asked in confusion, “What kind of place is that?”

Xiao Fan: “You haven’t heard of it?”

“No, I rarely go out. I’ve only left the Immortal Palace three times, and that was when Revered Master took me to attend ceremonies of other powers, so I could go out with her.” She said softly.

“Then what kind of place is it?” she asked.

“A place with many girls.”

“Oh, I see.” Zhao Linger didn’t think much of it.

Even if she thought more, she wouldn’t have imagined Xiao Fan would take her to a Green House.

Xiao Fan took out the Treasure Shuttle his mother had prepared for him, which was understated yet luxurious.

Today, it was finally time for its first test drive.

… … … …

Eternal Immortal Domain Saint Institute.

Ye Tian successfully entered the Saint Institute under the guidance of a Saint Institute Elder.

The Elder leading Ye Tian put on a classic cold face and said indifferently, “This is your Inner Sect Disciple token and Saint Institute Dao robe.”

After speaking, he threw the two items to him and left with a flick of his sleeve.

He didn’t even clearly explain the rules to him, such as when to receive his stipend, where to obtain Cultivation Techniques, or where the secret cultivation grounds were.

Not a single rule of this kind was mentioned.

Ye Tian secretly chuckled, disdainfully saying, “Old trick. I came through this before too. Go ahead and mock me; when I become strong, I’ll step on your faces to climb up.”

As a Child of Destiny, Ye Tian’s journey in the Saint Institute would certainly not be smooth. He was assigned to the worst Inner Sect Disciple area and encountered three or five profligates.

“You’re the new one?”

“You know what I’m going to say.” The leading profligate said, extending his hand, empty, as if something was missing.

“Scram!” Ye Tian sneered coldly.

A conflict ensued, and Ye Tian, without hesitation, killed the person, angering the Inner Sect Disciples behind these profligates. These Inner Sect Disciples were all among the top ten in the Inner Sect.

“Top ten? Just a bunch of small fries. I’m going to advance to Core Disciple, become a True Disciple, and my goal is to become the Saint of the Saint Institute!”

Ye Tian’s traditional script:

Third day after entering the Saint Institute: Fights Inner Sect Disciples, discovers that behind the Inner Sect Disciples are Core Disciples.

Tenth day after entering the Saint Institute: Fights Core Disciples, only to discover that the Core Disciples are favorite pupils of a certain Elder.

First month after entering the Saint Institute: Fights Elders, but is then deliberately troubled, which also implicates the Elders of that faction, and then becomes embroiled in the Saint Institute’s factional struggle.

… … … …

In just two months, he had risen to become a seed Disciple of the Saint Institute. As long as he defeated the other five seed Disciples, he could become the Saint!

Nesting doll-style growth! As expected of a traditional Child of Destiny, his routine is indeed nesting dolls!

And at this time, he happened to receive news of Luo Ruyan.

“Mystic Bliss Convent, Spring Breeze Pavilion!”

“Ruyan, I’ve come to save you!”

Another short and weak update.
