Global Awakening: I'm the Only One Ready

Everyone in the world knew the Dao De Jing as an ancient scripture authored by Laozi, divided into two parts with a total of eighty-one chapters. But that was merely surface knowledge. What most didn’t know was that the true, complete version of the Dao De Jing consisted of one hundred and eight chapters.

And the true essence, the profound wisdom of this scripture, lay hidden within the final twenty-seven chapters. These chapters contained the laws of the cosmic universe, collectively known as the Supreme Visualization Method.

Visualization, as the name implied, meant immersing oneself in the scripture, comprehending its words, sensing the rhythm of heaven and earth through them, contemplating all things, and ultimately attaining enlightenment about the world itself.

With such a foundation, one could begin walking the path toward transcendence.

To put it simply, an ordinary visualization method was like holding a small lantern that illuminated only a narrow stretch of road ahead. One had to tread cautiously, constantly wary of going astray during the process of evolution.

But the complete Dao De Jing was like the rising of a blazing sun. Not only did it cast light over that path, it also widened it into a vast, majestic avenue that led straight toward enlightenment. Under that light, the way forward was clear and unmistakable.

This was the peerless might of the Supreme Visualization Method, the unparalleled mental cultivation technique, the most powerful of its kind under heaven.

As Lu Yuan stared at the ancient tome in his hands, he sank into deep thought.

In my previous life, the cultivator who obtained the complete Dao De Jing used it to reign supreme; he was unmatched by any other. He could even traverse freely between realms. Yet, despite years of effort, it was said he only scratched the surface. He never fully grasped its true essence.

I wonder how long it will take me to master it... now that I possess the billionfold Talent.

According to his memories, that cultivator had been hailed as a once-in-a-generation prodigy, blessed with unmatched talent.

Had Lu Yuan not successfully fused with the ancient Bodhi Tree and gained the blessing of a billionfold Talent, he wouldn’t have dared to choose this scripture next.

It was simply too difficult. One needed an extremely high level of spiritual insight. Without that, forced comprehension could very well lead to deviation or collapse.

Now, with the complete Dao De Jing in hand, Lu Yuan opened the ancient tome. The text slowly emerged before him.

However, the characters were written in oracle bone script, and he could barely recognize any of them. But that didn’t matter. Since this was a visualization method, the key wasn’t in literal comprehension, but in grasping the deeper meaning hidden behind the words.

Moreover, Lu Yuan had the boost of a billionfold Talent, it made no difference whether he could read the characters or not.

He began reading slowly and carefully from the very first chapter. He didn’t skip a single character, observing each one in detail. His thoughts gradually settled. His breath slowed. His mind grew still, like water.

Unknowingly, time slipped by quietly.

Only when he reached the final page did his awareness return to the present.

But at that moment, a flicker of confusion passed through his eyes.

It wasn’t that he failed to understand the scripture; rather, he understood it all. Not only that, every single character had been carved into the depths of his mind.

He glanced at the time.

It had only been three days.

In just three days, he had accomplished what once took a peerless cultivator years to achieve, and had even surpassed him.

This can’t be it... right? But it should be. Visualization methods depended entirely on spiritual insight; maybe that was the true challenge.

Even so, Lu Yuan couldn’t shake the feeling that it had all been too easy. Memorizing the text hadn’t been difficult at all.

Still feeling unsure, he closed the ancient scripture and gently shut his eyes.

The Dao De Jing spoke of the laws that governed heaven and earth, the ultimate truths of the universe.

To truly practice its teachings, one had to visualize the cosmos through the scripture; and through that, observe the rhythms of existence, sense the flow of natural laws, and reflect on all things to gain enlightenment.

The moment his mind stilled, he instantly felt that the world around him seemed to shift once more.

He now sat among the stars.

Endless galaxies stretched before him, stars shining brilliantly across the void. Massive celestial bodies drifted in the dark, constantly cycling through birth and destruction.

In the distance, a supernova exploded with dazzling radiance before collapsing into a black hole that devoured everything in its vicinity. Elsewhere, an asteroid blazed to life with searing heat like a newborn star.

The spectacle before him was too overwhelming. It was like witnessing the life and death of stars, and the life cycle of the cosmos. Everything was vivid and crystal clear, as if the entire universe was playing out before his eyes.

The stars shimmered in all hues, each radiating its own life force. They injected vitality and life into the cold, empty space. Life bloomed from silence, and profound truths echoed from every pulse of starlight.

It was a breathtaking cosmic painting, vast and majestic, illustrating the ultimate secrets of existence!

And Lu Yuan was swimming within it all.

A silent observer, he watched the never-ending dance of creation and collapse.

Boom!

A star shattered with a thunderous roar.

Streams of starlight surged into his body. In that moment, he could clearly feel it—the longer he maintained this state of visualization, the stronger he became.

It was as if a universe was forming within him.

Thump!

Lu Yuan’s eyes flew open. He gasped for breath, a cold sweat trickling down his brow.

Then, as he checked his condition, shock rippled through him—in just that brief flash of insight, he had broken through the eighth tier of the Foundation Realm and stepped into the ninth!

Energy surged violently through his meridians like raging waters. Within his veins, his blood raged, flowing at an alarming speed like a dragon ready to burst free.

His physical form had reached an entirely new level.

And within the depths of his consciousness, his soul—the innate spirit glowing golden within his consciousness—had grown brighter and stronger. Its form had visibly expanded.

Both his body and soul had undergone a profound transformation.

The Dao De Jingtruly is the greatest visualization method under heaven... capable of refining the body and tempering the soul. So does this mean I have successfully mastered it?

Lu Yuan was stunned. How long had it taken? What a peerless cultivator had failed to comprehend even after years of study, he had fully understood in just a few days.

Was it a miracle?

No!

It was the power of his billionfold Talent! His aptitude had reached a terrifying level.

By this point, Lu Yuan wasn’t just amazed by his own potential but rather awestruck by the might of the complete Dao De Jing. Just one session of cosmic visualization had elevated both his body and soul at lightning speed. Such speed was never heard of even in his past life.

It was outrageous, like something out of legend.

And if he continued to visualize like this, he believed he might one day shake the stars themselves, forge a soul that could communicate with higher realms, or even walk among the galaxy as a supreme being. Such a life no longer felt like a distant dream but was almost within reach.

Initially, he was still worried whether the treasures he gathered were truly as powerful as the rumors claimed.

Now, he was certain that not only were the rumors real, they underestimated the truth.

The supreme path was no longer just a dream. It was a tangible possibility!

If I can draw out the full potential of each divine artifact, just how powerful will I become when I finally emerge from seclusion?

Lu Yuan turned his gaze onto the remaining nine treasures. Of course, not every one of them was meant to boost raw power or physically evolve. But if they could help him unlock even more of his hidden potential, that alone was enough.

This latest session of cosmic visualization had truly brought him tremendous gains. But at the same time, it came with a price. He could feel the immense strain on his soul. He inferred that using the visualization method consumed immense amounts of soul power.

Sure, he could endure and power through it if he wanted to, but he felt that there was no need to rush. He still had time.

What mattered most now was strengthening himself further.

At this point, Lu Yuan was just one step away from reaching the second stage—the Awakened Realm.

He contemplated for a brief moment before his gaze settled on another heavenly artifact: the Eleven-Tier Blood Pagoda.

Once assimilated into the body, this artifact would transform one’s internal organs into divine gold, rendering them virtually indestructible.

Right now, Lu Yuan’s physical body was already incredibly tough. Bullets meant nothing to him, and even a small bomb couldn’t do much harm. However, his internal organs remained vulnerable. If someone possessed a technique that could directly target his insides, he would have no way to defend against it.

But if he could fuse with the Blood Pagoda, he would reach a legendary state—external and internal unity.

And there was more to it.

A mysterious power lay in slumber within the Eleven-Tier Blood Pagoda. He could use it as a stepping stone to break through and enter the Awakened Realm.

The thought alone stirred him to move.

Taking a deep breath, Lu Yuan placed the Eleven-Tier Blood Pagoda in front of him.

Let’s begin!
