She is the Side Character! — Watch Her Change her fate!

”There are many more people in this world who need help than Wei Yue.”

Ah Chen took out her phone, opened a donation page, and as 997 had informed her before, this organization was genuinely doing charity.

In front of Duan Mu, Ah Chen donated 200 yuan on the donation page.

”I can donate and have a bit of compassion, but I don’t want to donate to Wei Yue. Isn’t that my freedom?”

As for whether it’s bad to put personal emotions on display, what’s bad about it? She’s just making a donation, not carrying any responsibility or duty. As long as she isn’t breaking any laws or regulations, of course, she can do whatever she wants. No one can control that.

If you are dissatisfied, hold it in.

Duan Mu was furious, staring at Ah Chen in disbelief that she could do such a thing.

The classmates who were watching the scene were also stunned, momentarily at a loss for words.

”Wei Yue is so sick, are you really going to be at odds with her?” Duan Mu said angrily, but besides a few words, he really couldn’t do much.

Ah Chen chuckled lightly, ”Just because I don’t want to donate to her, does that make me evil? If that’s being at odds with her, then you’re not wrong to think so.”

”We’re all classmates, I never thought you could be so cold and heartless.” Duan Mu said through gritted teeth.

Ah Chen’s smile didn’t waver, ”It’s just towards you guys, not to others. If other classmates genuinely needed help, I would do what little I could. But I’m just a high school student and don’t have the ability to make money. I can only donate what I’ve saved myself, I won’t ask my parents for more money to donate.”

After speaking, she waved her phone, ”I’ve looked into this organization, and it really does charity.”

Classmates who had thought Ah Chen was cold-hearted, after a moment of surprise, felt a bit conflicted inside.

”Besides, I believe Wei Yue hasn’t reached the point of needing donations. There are many more pitiful people in this world than Wei Yue. Duan, open your eyes and look at the world.”

Ah Chen saw Li Feiwei standing outside and pushed Duan Mu away, ”Someone’s come to see me, probably to ask for my guidance.”

Li Feiwei always came with test papers or books. People were curious about how the two knew each other, but it was just curiosity, and they didn’t delve further.

Duan Mu was abruptly pushed aside, wanting to say more but unsure what to say.

Chen Yijia also had no intention to donate, obviously disliking Wei Yue. Moreover, she also didn’t like Wei Yue and truly didn’t want to donate.

Also, what Ah Chen just said, that Wei Yue hasn’t reached the point of needing donations, seemed interesting and made her wonder if there were things outsiders didn’t know.

She glanced outside the classroom, where Ah Chen was holding a test paper, explaining it to Li Feiwei.

Ran Chen seemed very enthusiastic, just with some opinions about Wei Yue.

Duan didn’t bother Chen Yijia anymore, bothering Ah Chen was just out of anger and didn’t gain any favor from it.

”Senior, I didn’t donate either.” Li Feiwei raised his eyes gently and said to Ah Chen, ”I also think Senior Wei Yue hasn’t reached the point of needing donations.”

”Why do you think so?” Ah Chen looked up with a smile and asked.

Li Feiwei was momentarily dazzled by the smile and blurted out, ”Because you don’t like her.”

No matter if Wei Yue needed donations, as long as the senior didn’t like her, he wouldn’t donate a cent, even if a little wouldn’t make a difference.

What the senior liked or disliked mattered most!

Besides, nobody mandated that he had to donate to anyone, right?

It’s his choice.

”Many people say bad things about you, senior.”

Ah Chen said, ”That doesn’t affect me. I don’t care about them.”

”They must be wrong then.” Li Feiwei said determinedly, his eyes very earnest.

”The senior even helps me, even so late. If you don’t like Wei Yue, it must be her fault or that she offended you.”

Ah Chen was amused, knowing there might be some issues with Li Feiwei’s sense of right and wrong, but his words were still pleasing.

Ah Chen didn’t express any strong feelings towards Wei Yue, fearing that too much emotion might provoke the person in front of her to do something bad.

What happens to Wei Yue is minor, but it’s not worth it if it affects him.

This fragmented personality might be skewed, though acceptable in a survival of the fittest world where strength rules. But in a society governed by law, rules must be observed.

She should watch closely; it should be fine.

”Is there something on my face?” Li Feiwei asked softly, feeling his face heat up under Ah Chen’s gaze, even though being looked at by the senior was pleasing.

But in school, being stared at too long wasn’t good.

He wasn’t afraid of gossip himself, but it wasn’t good if the senior became a subject of gossip.

”Just checking your face, it’s healed well, the scars are barely visible.” Ah Chen said naturally, showing nothing amiss.

Li Feiwei pursed his lips; indeed, in future fights, he must avoid hits to the face.

The bell rang, and Ah Chen returned the test paper to Li Feiwei, ”Come ask if you have any questions.”

”Okay.” Li Feiwei’s eyes lit up, and he happily left with the test paper, intent on finding out what he didn’t understand. He rarely wandered outside now, risking getting bullied.

Watching his light steps, Ah Chen turned back to the classroom, unaffected by her classmates’ stares.

Duan Mu, however, was distracted throughout the class because of what had happened earlier.

This class was Ran Zhengfeng’s. Perhaps knowing what had happened before, he carried some personal emotion, questioning Ah Chen several times during class.

Unfortunately, Ah Chen didn’t give him any chance to make a scene; she answered all questions fluently.

Ran Zhengfeng was somewhat unsatisfied, and after class, he called out Ah Chen, asking, ”I heard Student Ran Chen refused to donate to Student Wei Yue. Is your family struggling financially?”

The classmates all knew Ran Zhengfeng was Ah Chen’s biological father. Listening to this, they couldn’t help but pause and look at the father and daughter.

Ah Chen only found it laughable. Ran Zhengfeng wanted to embarrass her?

Then he shouldn’t care about his face, either.

”Doesn’t Teacher Ran know? All our family expenses are borne by Mom. Of course, we’re not struggling; it just seems that donating is a personal choice, isn’t it?”

”Teacher Ran surely isn’t trying to force students to donate, right? If reported, it could lead to writing reviews and getting disciplinary actions.”

Ran Zhengfeng was left speechless, visibly embarrassed.

”It’s a personal choice.” Ran Zhengfeng couldn’t maintain his dignity, hurriedly leaving with his materials.

Ah Chen sneered, not looking at his back, and took out a test paper to work on.

”Ran Chen, what grudge do you have against Wei Yue?” This time, during the break, Li Feiwei didn’t come, but a classmate named Jiang Fang approached Ah Chen’s desk.

Jiang Fang was rather lively, with average overall grades but excelled in physics, decent in math but not as good as in physics, while the other subjects were hard to describe. He had even participated in competitions with Zhuo Qiaoqing before. With his capabilities, he wasn’t lacking in university options.
