150 Chapter 150 - 150: 0150 Excitement 2026-10-25

Although Sherlock and Harry prevented the house-elf Dobby from banging his head against the wall and hitting himself with the lamp, he continued to struggle and scream.

”Bad Dobby! Bad Dobby!

Dobby snuck here to tell tales, revealing his master’s affairs to Harry Potter!

Dobby is not a qualified house-elf! Let go of Dobby, Dobby must punish himself!”

”I understand. You belong to the Malfoy family—Draco Malfoy’s family.”

The moment Sherlock spoke these words, Dobby immediately stopped struggling. Both he and Harry turned to look at Sherlock.

Both faces were filled with shock.

The difference was that Harry’s surprise quickly transformed into understanding.

Dobby, however, became even more shocked, crying out loudly.

”Sir, you used dark magic on Dobby!

Though Dobby said nothing, he still exposed his master’s secrets!

Bad Dobby! Bad Dobby! Dobby is not a qualified house-elf at all!”

”Dark magic? I don’t need such things to deal with you.”

Sherlock sneered disdainfully.

”As far as I know, house-elves aren’t something poor wizarding families can afford to own.

Looking at your servile attitude, it’s clear your master’s family is difficult to get along with.

At Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, those who meet these conditions and have conflicts with Harry are already obvious.

So... what exactly are they planning?”

Dobby opened his mouth as if wanting to say something, but in the end, he only opened and closed it.

It was as if some mysterious force prevented him from revealing the truth.

”Bad Dobby! Bad Dobby! Dobby almost revealed his master’s secrets! Let go of Dobby, Dobby must punish himself!”

This time, Dobby’s strength was particularly great, and his determination to punish himself was extremely firm.

Just as Harry began to feel a headache coming on, Sherlock loosened his grip and released him directly.

Once free, Dobby immediately began violently banging his head against the wall without another word.

The intense impact made Harry’s heart race with alarm. Seeing Dobby continue this for over a dozen times while Sherlock showed no intention of stopping him, Harry couldn’t help but speak.

”Sherlock...”

”My dear friend, you don’t need to worry—my father and Mr. Granger are both downstairs. Unless it can knock down this wall, they certainly won’t come up.”

”But... should we just watch him continue like this?”

”Harry, I suggest you put away your sympathy for it.

Acting self-righteously for others’ supposed good, making arrangements for others without permission, moral blackmail through self-abuse...”

Sherlock watched the self-harming Dobby and commented mercilessly.

”This kind of creature simply doesn’t deserve sympathy.”

Harry couldn’t help but be stunned by these words.

Truth be told, Harry was genuinely a very kind person.

Not Snape’s kind of petty goodness, but traditional lawful good.

To grow up in the harsh environment of the Dursley household without developing the kind of mentality that would seek revenge on society was truly remarkable.

Not only that, but deep in his heart, he actually had something of a savior complex.

So even though he was somewhat dissatisfied with the house-elf Dobby’s various actions, whenever he thought that the other party was doing this for his own good, he couldn’t harden his heart.

Forget about watching Dobby self-harm—he couldn’t even bring himself to speak harshly to it.

So, if these words had come from someone else, he definitely wouldn’t have agreed.

But when these words came from Sherlock’s mouth, the effect was immediately different.

Harry lowered his head and thought seriously for a long while, then slowly nodded.

Just as Sherlock had said, he didn’t need to be arranged by it.

From this perspective, Dobby was very much like Dumbledore, yet inferior to Dumbledore.

Dumbledore merely guided him to face Voldemort directly; Dobby had directly made arrangements for him.

Perhaps its intentions were good, full of kindness.

But.

It intercepted his letters, prevented him from going to Hogwarts, yet wouldn’t say anything, only banging its head against the wall at every turn.

This behavior was undoubtedly something he disliked—it could even be said to be full of malice.

Someone who truly cared for him should be like Sherlock, telling him the truth without reservation and letting him make his own choices.

However, even after understanding everything, Harry still couldn’t remain unmoved while directly witnessing Dobby’s behavior.

But seeing that Sherlock had made up his mind completely, he could only turn his head away.

Out of sight, out of mind—his heart wouldn’t ache if he didn’t see it.

Just as Sherlock had said, even though Dobby was making such a commotion, there was still no movement from downstairs.

Harry secretly admired how impressive Sherlock’s and Hermione’s fathers were, actually managing to restrain Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia.

Little did he know that the protagonists in the downstairs parlor had long since changed.

Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia, as the actual homeowners, now only had supporting roles.

After banging his head for a while, Dobby finally stopped.

By now, his two eyes had crossed, and considerable blood was seeping from his head.

Sherlock watched him coldly, saying nothing.

”Great, merciful Harry Potter, and this mind-reading... sir!”

Dobby took a long time to focus properly, making his large eyes look toward Sherlock and Harry.

”Mr. Harry Potter really cannot go to school...”

”So, you still don’t intend to reveal the truth?”

”Bad Dobby, bad Dobby, Dobby cannot expose his master’s secrets!”

As Dobby spoke, he grabbed the desk lamp and smashed it against his head. The lamp fell apart, but Sherlock continued to watch coldly.

Harry, however, felt deeply pained.

Although this was an old desk lamp that Dudley had discarded, it was still functional.

Now it was smashed to pieces—what a waste.

”Are you finished? If not, go back to banging your head against the wall.”

Hearing Sherlock’s words, Dobby clearly realized that this new young wizard was different from the easily swayed Harry—he was a tough opponent.

He stopped his self-abusive actions, looked at Sherlock, and said firmly.

”Mr. Harry Potter absolutely cannot return to school!”

”What if we say no?”

Sherlock stared at him coldly.

Harry clenched his fists secretly.

”Then Dobby can only do this, sir. This is for Harry Potter’s good.”

As if he had planned to do this all along, the moment Dobby finished speaking, a massive magical aura surged from his small body, filling the entire bedroom almost instantly.

When Harry felt the surging magical power from the house-elf Dobby, he was completely stunned.

What was happening? This little elf who seemed to only know self-abuse was actually this powerful?

Sherlock remained calm as ever.

But his words left Harry somewhat unsettled.

”I thought you were tough—is this it?”

”Sherlock, you...”

Before Harry could finish, the situation changed dramatically.

An even more massive magical aura suddenly appeared, coming from behind and directly crushing Dobby’s magical buildup like a steamroller.

Not only that, but Sherlock and Harry even felt the air in the room develop a gel-like, viscous quality.

Dobby’s face immediately changed drastically.

Without another word, he snapped his fingers.

Undoubtedly, the magic he was about to cast was Apparition.

Unlike wizards who had to undergo difficult training to master this advanced magic, almost all house-elves were experts at Apparition.

This was precisely why he dared to come alone to tip off Harry behind his master’s back.

This was his ace in the hole.

Never did he expect that this time, his signature move would fail.

He looked shocked and incredulously snapped his fingers twice more.

Nothing happened.

At the same time, the bedroom door was pushed open, and a person in black robes with greasy hair appeared alongside Hermione.

It was none other than Severus Snape, Head of Slytherin House at Hogwarts, Potions Master, and contemporary Serpent King.

Professor Snape’s gaze swept over everyone in the room before finally settling on Harry, his eyes cold as he spoke.

”Pot—ter, you’re absolutely useless!”

Harry. ”...”

On the other hand, when Dobby saw Professor Snape appear alongside Hermione, he finally realized what had happened.

He screamed and jumped up.

”Liar! Harry Potter is a big liar! He deceived Dobby!”

Sherlock remained expressionless, Hermione looked curious.

Harry was even more annoyed.

’Snape calling me useless—I can barely accept that.

But you saying I lied to you?

What does this have to do with me?!’

Snape also found Dobby’s chattering annoying and frowned as he waved his wand.

A spell shot out, precisely hitting Dobby.

Dobby instantly froze in mid-air like a wooden puppet, with only his terrified eyes still moving.

”What idiots!

A mere house-elf has already left you helpless?

Look at yourselves—you’re like a bunch of crazed Muggles putting on a monkey show!” Snape said with disgust.

Then his gaze fell on Harry.

”Pot—ter, you just let this farce happen?”

Harry. (╬☉д⊙)━☆.*#

’What could I do? I’m desperate too!’

Hermione quickly explained. ”Professor, this house-elf suddenly appeared and said something about Hogwarts being in danger. We can’t use magic outside school, so...”

”Shut up!”

Snape rudely interrupted her. ”Whatever the reason, you shouldn’t have let the situation get so out of control.”

Both Harry and Hermione were thoroughly annoyed.

’Good thing this isn’t at Hogwarts, or would you deduct points too?

Is this situation something we could have handled?’

After saying this, Snape ignored the two and turned to look at Dobby suspended in mid-air, lightly tapping his wand to release the spell.

Dobby fell to the ground with a ”thump,” immediately standing up timidly again, not daring to look directly at Snape.

”Speak. Why are you causing trouble here?”

Snape’s snake-like eyes bore into Dobby, who trembled all over, his ears pressed tightly against his head.

Clearly, the pressure that Snape had just displayed far exceeded what the three of them could exert on this house-elf.

After trembling for a long time, Dobby finally gathered the courage to speak.

”Professor, Dobby... Dobby is for Mr. Harry Potter!

Hogwarts is really in danger!

A great conspiracy will harm Mr. Harry Potter!”

Snape frowned, a flash of doubt crossing his eyes, but he quickly returned to his cold demeanor.

”Without evidence, do you think I’ll believe you?

A mere house-elf dares to leave its master’s house without permission and disturb the peace!”
