HP: I AM SHERLOCK HOLMES

Before opening the warehouse doors, Hagrid had already prepared for a rescue operation.

However, when the doors were pushed open, the result was utterly surprising.

No captors.

No captives.

The entire warehouse was completely empty.

”Sherlock, this—”

Hagrid turned back to look at Sherlock, his mind momentarily unable to process what he was seeing.

”Hmph, a tedious disguise!”

Sherlock’s gaze swept across the entire warehouse, and he immediately understood.

”You handle those fellows outside first, let me take a proper look.”

”No problem, leave it to me!”

Hagrid patted his chest and loudly guaranteed.

Sherlock said this because people were already rushing toward their direction.

Hagrid was indeed not someone to mess with—there was no doubt about that.

But Sherlock and Hagrid’s behavior of directly charging into the black market’s backyard to ransack warehouses was also truly excessive.

To put it bluntly, it was equivalent to defecating on their heads.

Even if this warehouse was indeed empty, it was still an intolerable matter.

So, when things progressed to this point, the black market’s managers could no longer sit still and hurriedly rushed over with their people.

”Mr. Hagrid from Hogwarts, we have no intention of being your enemy, but what exactly do you mean by this?”

As Hogwarts’ Keeper of Keys and Grounds, whether in Diagon Alley or Knockturn Alley, Rubeus Hagrid could be considered quite famous.

Of course, there was another important reason: almost the entire wizarding world knew that Hagrid was Dumbledore’s most trusted person.

Although this was something Hagrid himself claimed, Dumbledore had never denied it.

And Hagrid had indeed done things for Dumbledore more than once.

This was quite terrifying.

Even though the dark wizards of Knockturn Alley were despicable, shameless, cruel, vicious, sinister, and cunning, with quite a few on the Ministry of Magic’s wanted lists.

But.

Even if you gave them ten times the courage, they would never dare offend Dumbledore!

Moreover, Hagrid’s own combat abilities were not lacking at all.

So even though they now saw Hagrid guarding the warehouse entrance, they could only attempt verbal negotiations first.

”We’re investigating a case. Don’t come any closer.”

Sherlock inside the warehouse heard Hagrid immediately speaking the blunt truth and helplessly shook his head.

However, with things having developed to this point, it no longer mattered.

After carefully examining the warehouse’s structure, he took out a copper kettle he had prepared beforehand and poured water onto the ground.

”Good thing I prepared enough water. It seems I still need to learn more practical spells.”

Logically speaking, the Water-Making Spell would be the best choice in this situation.

Among all first-year courses, Charms was his strong suit, with his level far ahead of other students.

That’s why he could use the Summoning Charm, which only higher-year students could master, when protecting the Philosopher’s Stone.

But now it seemed he still needed to work harder.

After waiting patiently for a while, Sherlock noticed the trickling water beginning to flow toward the southeast corner of the warehouse.

He observed carefully and indeed found subtle cracks in the wall there.

Without further doubt, Sherlock directly drew his wand:

”Alohomora!”

With one Unlocking Charm, the hidden door slowly opened, revealing the room concealed behind it.

The commotion he created naturally caught the attention of the black market wizards outside the warehouse.

”There’s actually a hidden door here?”

”What? How did I not know about this?”

”Move aside quickly, we need to go in!”

Seeing everyone’s restless appearance, Hagrid directly drew an arrow from his waist, nocked it on his crossbow, aimed at the crowd, and roared:

”Nobody moves!”

Hagrid was already tall and imposing, standing there a full head taller than everyone else. This action had an excellent intimidating effect.

The crowd of wizards looked at each other uncertainly.

Although everyone held wands, no one dared to make the first move.

But standing there doing nothing wasn’t a solution either.

Finally, someone with more courage tentatively cast a Jelly-Legs Jinx at Hagrid.

This was a relatively mild offensive curse whose effect was to immediately paralyze the victim’s lower limbs, rendering them unable to move.

That way, they could bypass Hagrid and enter the warehouse without actually hurting anyone.

However, when this spell hit Hagrid, it had absolutely no effect.

Not only that, but this behavior also angered Hagrid.

Without a word, Hagrid directly shot an arrow at him.

”Whoosh!”

With a scream, the man took an arrow to the knee and immediately collapsed to the ground.

Seeing this scene, the black-market wizards were all greatly shocked and began shouting:

”Hagrid, you’re using your superior strength to shield your friend, aren’t you?”

”If everyone rushes forward together, Hagrid couldn’t possibly kill everyone in the black market!”

”When your strength is exhausted, you’ll be doomed as well!”

Hagrid became furious upon hearing this: ”You’re threatening me?”

But before he finished speaking, he heard Sherlock’s urgent voice calling: ”Hagrid!”

Hagrid, who had been confronting the black-market crowd, immediately abandoned them and rushed to Sherlock’s side, his eyes full of urgency:

”Sherlock, are you alright?”

”I’m fine,” Sherlock pointed forward, ”Save him!”

While Hagrid single-handedly dealt with the Parthenon Black Market crowd, Sherlock had successfully opened the hidden door.

Undoubtedly, this small room hidden behind the secret door was originally used to imprison Musgrave.

It’s just that Smith hadn’t bothered to hide it deliberately at the time, so Baskerville didn’t know about the relationship between the warehouse and the two locations.

Hagrid looked in the direction Sherlock pointed and immediately saw a person curled up by the wall. From his clothing, it was clearly the Greek interpreter.

”Damn it!”

Hagrid immediately stepped into the room and carried him back to the warehouse.

At this moment, those black-market people also took the opportunity to enter the warehouse. Seeing the situation before them, they all showed surprised expressions.

The person Hagrid had carried out had blue lips, a swollen and congested face, and protruding eyes.

If not for the familiar clothing and black beard, Hagrid would almost be unable to recognize him as Baskerville.

”He’s been poisoned!”

At this point, Hagrid couldn’t care about them entering the warehouse. Seeing Baskerville in this condition, he was frantic and shouted at the crowd:

”Does anyone know how to cure poison!”

The crowd of wizards looked at each other.

”Damn it, this poison’s effects are very severe. I need to immediately take him to—”

Hagrid looked around, preparing to carry Baskerville and leave with Sherlock.

Saving lives was urgent; investigating the case could wait.

”I’ll do it!”

Just then, a big bald head emerged from the crowd.

Due to the Potter family’s powerful hair growth potion, marketers had created advertisements claiming ”The wizarding world doesn’t allow bald people.”

But one of the ingredients was so rare that the finished products became increasingly expensive, and not everyone could afford them.

So occasionally having one or two bald people was understandable.

The bald wizard opened his palm, revealing what appeared to be a stone-like substance.

”Excellent! It’s a bezoar!”

Hagrid was overjoyed upon seeing this. He took the bezoar, crushed it with some force, and stuffed it into Baskerville’s mouth. The effect was immediate.

After a bout of violent coughing, the Greek interpreter’s poisoning symptoms gradually subsided, though one eye still showed traces of being beaten.

”Thank heavens, that fellow didn’t use an Unforgivable Curse!”

Seeing this scene, Hagrid breathed a long sigh of relief.

As everyone knew, so far only Harry Potter had survived being hit by the Killing Curse.

Hagrid didn’t think Baskerville had the same abilities as the Boy Who Lived.

Seeing that Baskerville was out of danger, Sherlock had Hagrid notify Hogwarts professors to come for support while continuing to block the others from interfering with his investigation of the crime scene.

With things having developed to this point, relying on just him and Hagrid seemed somewhat inadequate.

Hadn’t these people just said that Hagrid was acting recklessly based on Dumbledore’s trust?

Then let them see for themselves.

Sure enough, upon hearing that Hogwarts professors were coming, those who had originally insisted on entering the prison cell with Sherlock immediately fell silent.

Joking aside, no matter which Hogwarts professor came, they weren’t people this group could provoke.

If Dumbledore came, that would be fine.

Although he was powerful and had the title of Greatest of the age.

But over the years, he rarely fought with people.

Given his temperament and status, he probably wouldn’t stoop to their level.

But if Snape or McGonagall came, once they learned that these people had bullied Hogwarts students, they would be in for serious trouble.

Taking advantage of the time waiting for Baskerville to recover and for Hogwarts professors to arrive, Sherlock entered the prison cell once more.

Before long, he obtained what he wanted.

Just then, Baskerville had also recovered his strength.

Although the severe poison would likely require him to spend some time in the hospital, that bezoar had successfully pulled him back from the brink of death.

However, he was in poor condition and could only briefly describe the events to Sherlock and Hagrid.

This afternoon, Smith had found him for the fourth time.

As soon as he entered, the other party immediately engaged in fierce combat with the friends protecting Baskerville.

Perhaps due to underestimating the enemy, perhaps due to insufficient strength, perhaps because the opponent was well-prepared.

In any case, after the intense battle, all three friends protecting Baskerville were defeated by Smith.

He then used their lives as threats, taking Baskerville with him once again.

”Three against one and still got wiped out—how embarrassing!”

Hearing this, someone in the crowd couldn’t help but comment.

”Shut up!”

Sherlock turned around and said coldly.

Without a word, Hagrid immediately glared in the direction of Sherlock’s gaze.

The wizard who had originally planned to argue immediately fell silent.

Sherlock understood Baskerville well.

The power Smith displayed had an almost irresistible effect on this poor man who knew several languages.

Moreover, he was naturally kind-hearted—he would even rescue complete strangers, let alone friends who came to protect him.

The result was that he was quickly kidnapped to Knockturn Alley to serve as interpreter in the fourth negotiation.
