HP: I AM SHERLOCK HOLMES

”Trevor!”

Seeing the toad in Padma Patil’s hands, Neville couldn’t help but cry tears of joy.

After taking it back, he immediately thanked the Patil twin sisters keenly.

The two sisters seemed indifferent to Neville’s gratitude, as if this matter was something they had done in passing.

Padma Patil handed the toad to Neville, then looked at Sherlock with her big eyes, asking with some curiosity and testing: ”Holmes, do you know where we found it?”

Sherlock’s gaze swept over her and he directly gave the answer: ”The washroom.”

”Amazing!”

The twin sisters showed expressions of ”as expected,” then simultaneously gave Sherlock thumbs up.

Parvati Patil smiled at her twin sister in Ravenclaw, ”See, I told you Holmes could guess it, didn’t I?”

Padma Patil nodded repeatedly: ”Prefect Clearwater and Cho Chang also said that when you encounter something you can’t solve, finding Holmes is definitely the right choice!”

The Halloween case let Sherlock show his initial brilliance.

The Christmas case let Sherlock emerge prominently.

The Easter case made Sherlock’s reputation soar.

By the final stage of this school year, protecting the Philosopher’s Stone together with the savior Harry and thwarting the evil professor’s conspiracy made him even more famous.

This was still under the condition that the details of the Greek Translator case hadn’t been made public—mainly because apart from Harry and the others, other people didn’t have much opportunity to interact with Hagrid, the key keeper.

Otherwise, Sherlock’s reputation would be even more resounding.

The Patil twin sisters didn’t inquire about how Sherlock deduced this result. After praising him enthusiastically for a few sentences, they left.

However, before leaving, both sisters expressed their hope that Sherlock could strengthen contact with them during the summer vacation.

After the two left, Sherlock looked at Hermione:

”What’s wrong with you?”

”Ah? What’s wrong with what?”

Hermione’s gaze hadn’t yet withdrawn from the Patil sisters’ retreating figures. Being suddenly called out by Sherlock, she couldn’t help but appear slightly flustered.

”From when this pair of twin sisters just asked me questions, your gaze has been fixed on them.”

Sherlock stared at Hermione, ”Until they left, you still haven’t withdrawn your gaze—this shows you’re very concerned about them. Why?”

”No... nothing...”

Having her thoughts exposed by Sherlock, Hermione became even more flustered.

However, she quickly used her clever little brain to find a reason.

”I just think the two sisters are very beautiful, so I looked at them a few more times.”

”Is that so?”

”Of course! Everyone has a love of beauty. Don’t think only you boys like looking at beautiful girls—we girls are the same!”

Hermione said this in a decisive tone.

”Granger is right. Dean also said they’re the most beautiful girls in the entire year!”

Neville, who had been excitedly comforting his recovered toad, couldn’t help but interject when he heard Hermione praising the twin sisters’ beauty.

”Dean? Dean Thomas? The boy who lives in the same dormitory as you?”

Hearing Neville’s words, Hermione immediately pictured that passionate boy sharing dormitory with them in her mind, then her heart stirred.

As if thinking of something, she suddenly turned to Sherlock:

”What about you, Sherlock? Do you also think the Patil sisters are the most beautiful girls in the year?”

Although it was already midsummer, for some reason, Neville beside them suddenly felt a chill and couldn’t help but shrink his neck.

Sherlock’s expression remained calm. Facing Hermione’s intense gaze, he said in a tone that seemed lacking of any emotion:

”Hermione, I think you should know that beauty is originally a relatively subjective evaluation.

The Patil sisters may have attractive aspects in terms of appearance, but what I’m more concerned about is their behavior, speech, and the essence they show in various events.

Simply using ’most beautiful’ to describe them is too one-sided, because this doesn’t consider their wisdom, courage, or other more important qualities.”

Hermione was very satisfied with Sherlock’s answer.

Indeed, compared to appearance, wisdom and courage were more important.

She immediately made a request: ”You must write to me and call me during summer vacation!”

Before Sherlock could answer, Harry and Ron, who had separated from the Weasley twins, came over with their arms around each other’s shoulders.

Hearing Hermione’s words to Sherlock, Ron’s eyes immediately lit up:

”Don’t worry, Hermione. Although I don’t know how to make phone calls, I’ll definitely write to you!”

Harry also nodded, copying Ron’s tone, ”Me too!”

Strangely, although he came from a Muggle family, compared to using the telephone, he was now more accustomed to using owls to contact other people.

He was surprised at how quickly he had adapted to his wizard identity.

Another reason was that he didn’t dare guarantee what kind of reaction the Dursleys would have if he used the telephone to contact friends from the magical world.

After all, magic was like a flood and wild beast in their eyes.

Better to avoid trouble—forget it.

For this reason, he didn’t take the initiative to ask for Sherlock and Hermione’s home phone numbers.

”Harry is one thing.”

Hermione looked at Ron with narrowed eyes, saying word by word:

”Ronald, I just hope that when you write to me, it’s not to borrow homework to copy.”

Ron: Σ(￣ロ￣lll)

’But I’m looking for you precisely to copy homework!’

Having his intentions exposed, Ron’s face turned red, veins bulging on his forehead as he argued:

”Borrowing homework can’t be called copying... borrowing homework... is just referencing your summer homework, referencing! Can referencing be called copying?”

Then came a series of incomprehensible words, like ”Gryffindor courage lies in daring to face homework difficulties,”

”Students should share knowledge with each other, this is magical integrity,”

”Borrowing is just a useful measure for evolving knowledge,” and so on, making everyone laugh.

The surroundings were filled with a happy atmosphere.

This was just a small episode in the farewell interactions among the young wizards before leaving school.

What surprised and pleased Harry was that before leaving school, Cho Chang actually came to find him again.

However, this time the clear-as-water Ravenclaw prefect didn’t come with her.

Instead, she was accompanied by her roommates Lucy and Alicia.

Alicia, like Hermione, was also a Muggle-born witch.

She had a lively personality, and after Cho Chang introduced her to Harry, she kept asking Harry what method he had used to thwart Quirrell’s conspiracy.

Lucy appeared much more reserved, only listening from beginning to end, only giving simple answers when others actively asked her questions.

”I also called Marietta to come along, but she wasn’t willing.”

When talking about this matter, Cho Chang couldn’t help but appear somewhat dejected.

Marietta Edgecombe had originally been her best friend.

Even after the Easter incident, Cho Chang had quickly forgiven her.

Unfortunately, while Cho Chang forgave her, she refused to accept it.

This also made Cho Chang realize that her relationship with Marietta could never return to what it was before.

”Cho, I think you shouldn’t have called her!”

Alicia said unhappily, ”She clearly did something wrong, but still acts like we wronged her. Who is she putting on this show for!”

Lucy also nodded lightly in agreement.

Harry, who had already learned the whole story from Sherlock, also advised: ”Cho, I think this matter isn’t your fault...”

”When did Harry become so familiar with Cho Chang?”

Looking at Harry chatting happily with three Ravenclaw girls in the distance, Hermione and Ron exchanged glances, both showing surprised expressions.

Hermione found it strange because the Easter case was clearly solved by her and Sherlock together, so why did it feel like Cho Chang was now more familiar with Harry, who hadn’t participated in the matter?

Ron’s attention was focused on the three Ravenclaw girls, especially Cho Chang. He secretly glanced at her several times.

’Mate has good taste...’

To be honest, Cho Chang was truly beautiful.

Hermione didn’t know that not only little Dean, but even Harry and Ron, who shared a dormitory with him, agreed with his assessment.

The Patil twin sisters were indeed the most beautiful girls in the year.

But even so, they still fell short compared to Cho Chang who was older.

Ron looked at Harry again, thinking that at this rate of development, his good friend might be going on dates with her in a few years!

This scene reminded Ron of his previous bet with Sherlock.

Not finding a girlfriend before twenty...

’Hey, Merlin, I was just joking, you can’t take it seriously!’

Who could have thought that Sherlock would actually stab Quirrell!

Thinking of this, he glanced at Sherlock again, feeling somewhat comforted.

’It’s okay, even if I really can’t find a girlfriend before twenty, isn’t there still Sherlock at the bottom?’

’With his personality of offending people as soon as he opens his mouth, and that attitude of treating girls and boys the same way, he won’t find a girlfriend even before thirty!’

Thinking of this, Ron was about to joke with Sherlock.

Just then, a breeze passed by, and Ron smelled a fragrance in the air.

Then a tall, beautiful witch suddenly appeared in front of them.

Although she wore the detestable Slytherin uniform, she didn’t give off an unpleasant feeling.

Ron recognized her at once.

Gemma Farley, a fifth-year Slytherin witch and also a prefect.

Even someone as rigid as Percy had praised her more than once, saying she was the most un-Slytherin-like Slytherin.

In Ron’s view, this was already the highest praise.

At the previous year-end banquet, her performance among the Slytherins was particularly impressive, like a moon-calf that had wandered into a snake’s nest.

But the question was, what was she doing here? Was she also looking for Harry?

My friend is too amazing!

However, the next moment, this beautiful prefect nodded slightly to Hermione and Ron, then turned her gaze to Sherlock:

”Mr. Holmes, could I speak with you privately?”
