A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1564: When Heʼll Return

Archer was watching three of his legions forming up for battle after they arrived back at the beachhead. The Alliance had arrived and wanted a fight, giving his generals a chance to show him how good they are. While standing there, he got a message from Ayrenn. ʼIʼve gone back to the Domain, I need to sleep, my love.ʼ

He chuckled at this but replied. ʼAlright, make sure Dellah is okay for me. She was old cold and breathing heavily.ʼ

The High-Elf agreed, prompting Archer to pivot back to the unfolding battle. Seconds later, enemy war machines roared, launching volleys of mana shells arcing through the sky. Draconian Mages countered, creating a shield that absorbed the earth-shaking blasts. He grinned as the magical barrier held firm.

Just then, the Dwarves unleashed their new cannons, thousands of mana blasts, shells, and projectiles streaking toward the Alliance forces. His eyes sharpened, watching a torrent of explosions killing hundreds of enemy soldiers. Thatʼs when Archer noticed his Draconian Legions surged forward, their disciplined ranks advancing through the chaos.

Their heavy boots thundered against the earth, armor clanking in rhythm with their war chants. Behind them, cannons roared to life, unleashing a barrage of mana-charged shells that streaked above the battlefield. Each impact erupted in a blinding flash, hurling earth and debris skyward, cloaking the field in a dense, choking dust cloud.

Archer noticed the Alliance lines faltered, their formations breaking under the onslaught. He squinted through the haze, his keen eyes tracking the silhouettes of retreating enemy soldiers. The dust swirled, obscuring friend and foe alike, but the Mages channeled their power to clear the dust in certain parts of the battlefield.

ʼʼLooks like their training paid off,ʼʼ he muttered.

Thatʼs when he got an idea and waved his hand, summoning fifty Oathkeepers led by Thalion. The giant knight knelt in front of him alongside the others, but Archer ordered. ʼʼBreak the enemyʼs frontline! Make sure the legions get through. We need to take Orientia to disrupt the Alliance.ʼʼ

ʼʼYes my lord!ʼʼ the commanded replied.

The knights rose as one, vaulted over the wall, and landed with a crash before surging into the fray. Archerʼs eyes followed a towering armored figure leaping over the shieldwall, crashing down amidst the enemy ranks. Their massive blades cleaved through metal, bone, and flesh easily.

His heart pounded, a wild grin splitting his face as he watched his Oathkeepers carve through the Alliance lines like a scythe through wheat. Their towering forms wove a brutal dance of steel and blood. His blood surged, a fiery rush of exhilaration coursing through his veins, urging him to join the chaos.

Suddenly, a human warrior, radiating an unnatural aura, barreled into one of the Oathkeepers. The knight was sent hurtling through the air, crashing into the dirt with a bone-rattling thud. His excitement turned to rage in an instant. His vision narrowed, heart thundering, as he charged forward, boots pounding the earth.

A primal roar tore from his throat, so deafening it seemed to freeze time itself, the battlefield falling silent in its wake. The Pseudo God turned just as he reached him. With a snarl, he unleashed an earth-shattering punch, his fist connecting with a force that split the air, shocking everyone.

The enemyʼs body crumpled, obliterated in an instant, the shockwave rippling outward, tearing through half the enemy army in a devastating cascade of destruction. Bodies and debris flew. He was lost to the bloodlust and began killing the remaining enemy, claws, teeth, and tail tore through the humans, Demi-Humans, and every other race.

Archer caused the entire legion to turn into bloodthirsty savages as they washed over the Alliance troops. Blood ran in rivers, but he wasnʼt done with only that; he burst forward and headed straight for the fortress holding the enemy commander. When getting close, he transformed into his massive dragon form, crushing the castle under his body, eliminating the enemy command structure.

With a bellow, his voice echoed across Orientia. ʼʼANY WHO STAND WITH DRACONIA WILL SURVIVE THE PURGE! SUBMIT TO MY FORCES OR FACE MY FLAMES!ʼʼ

Ashoka heard Archerʼs announcement and paled. The thought of the many races that would oppose him, meaning they gave up the right to mercy. She witnessed this with some of her southern kin. They were a stubborn bunch. She pleaded with the king to surrender, but was branded a traitor for getting into bed with a dragon.

Her husband wasnʼt merciful; the entire kingdom burned for days, their soldiers butchered to the last, and the royal family executed apart from the children, who were sent to a Draconian military orphanage. It was Lucreziaʼs idea to round up the orphans and train them to be the next generation of soldiers, and so far it has worked.

ʼI wonder when heʼll return,ʼ she thought, her tail swaying side to side in excitement.

Following that, days passed by, the Alliance forces were squashed, and Draconian had conquered a portion of West Orientia. The harem was shocked, but thanks to Archer helping out the legions, they moved fast. Aisha had sent her, Inara, Maeve, Demetra, and Lucrezia a message to pull back to the island thanks to dozens of Pseudo Gods appearing on the continent.

The Dwarvesʼ new cannons managed to keep them back until news came that their husband had slaughtered dozens of Pseudo-Gods, forcing them back to the Alliance lines. Archer soon appeared, breathing heavily, covered in blood, but still smiled at them. Ashokaʼs heart races at this, only for him to look at her.

ʼʼHello, my tigress,ʼʼ his smooth voice reached her ears.

Ashoka felt a shiver run down her spine, but stepped forward, giving her husband a tight hug.

Archer wrapped his arms around the tigress before breaking apart as he revealed. ʼʼFrom here to that massive river days away has been cleared of Alliance forces, so lead the legions west and capture the land, but I believe that Green Sea Jungle is nearby.ʼʼ

Ashoka shivered at the name, causing his eyebrow to raise. The young woman shook her head, explaining. ʼʼThrough that horrid place is the Green Sea, home to the fearsome Orc Kingdoms. They love war and will no doubt attack us.ʼʼ

ʼʼInteresting,ʼʼ he muttered.

Just then, the 1st Legion left the wall as Elara, the Dragonkin woman, appeared, her stomach growing by the day. He greeted her, a charming smile crossing his face. ʼʼHey Lara, howʼs the baby holding up?ʼʼ

ʼʼSheʼs alright I guess,ʼʼ she replied, huffing. ʼʼIʼm sure this little rascal only settles down when Iʼm on my horse.ʼʼ

Archer chuckled before sending some mana into Elara, making her sigh in relief. Soon she stood straight and stretched her body, causing several pops to echo out. He watched this until Ashoka spoke. ʼʼIʼll join Lara on the road; the eastern continent is dangerous thanks to its numerous bandit groups.ʼʼ

Sometime later, he sat on the gatehouse, his gaze fixed on Ashoka and Elara as they slipped beyond the wallʼs safety, their figures cutting through the mist toward the eastern front. His heart still thrummed from the battle, but peace settled over him. Raising his hands, he wove patterns in the air, summoning hundreds of Mana Birds.

With a flick of his wrist, he sent them soaring after the women. Miles down the road, the duo pressed forward, unaware of the ambush lying in wait. As enemy forces sprang from the shadows, the Mana Birds dove, their bodies igniting in blinding explosions. Fire and chaos erupted along the path, destroying the ambushers in a storm of flames.

The women froze, stunned, as the road ahead cleared, their would-be attackers reduced to ash and ruin, the Mana Birdsʼ sacrifice ensuring their path to victory remained unbroken. He chuckled at their reactions before sending a message through the dragon tattoo, making sure they knew it was him helping.

Archer teleported back to the palace, his warriorʼs heart softening as he crossed the threshold into the warmth of home. Eager to see his newborn children, he found Tarek and Isis nestled in their cradle, their tiny faces lighting up as they gazed at him, as if he were their entire world.

His chest swelled with love, and he mirrored their adoration, peppering their chubby cheeks with gentle kisses, his calloused hands careful against their delicate skin. The twins gurgled, their eyes sparkling with trust. After hours lost in their presence, savoring every coo and smile.

Nefertiti approached with a smile, scooping them up for their feeding, leaving him to watch as she carried their children away. Following that, he found Selina, Antonia, and Ravena. The little redheaded baby squealed in joy at the sight of him. This put a smile on Seraʼs face, who was nearby, provoking her to jump up and launch herself in his direction.

ʼʼArch!ʼʼ she happily exclaimed. ʼʼRavena and the others have missed you. Sheʼs been grumpy since you left.ʼʼ

A frown appeared as he put Sera down and approached the stubborn little redhead and crouched in front of her.
