A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1556: That Little Deva Loves You More

Archer spent some time with Larka, who soon left the cafe once it started getting late and was escorted home by two Oathkeepers. Once she was gone, Thalion stepped forward. ʼʼMy Lord. Why did you let that horrible woman near the princesses?ʼʼ

He pointed at little Freya, whose blue eyes were crackling with mana. ʼʼShe would have zapped her, thereʼs something about my eldest, sheʼs too smart for her own good and will end up causing me trouble when sheʼs older.ʼʼ

The giant knight glanced at the white haired little girl looking up at him with a gummy smile as if she knew they were talking about her. This made them laugh as Archer finished feeding them their ice creams. Each one made a complete mess; food was all over the place, including hair, faces, and baby grow.

Archer glanced at his five daughters, their eyes fixed on him, expecting words, but he only chuckled and waved his hand. A gentle surge of mana flowed from him, enveloping the babies and tidying the entire cafe in an instant. The other patrons gaped in astonishment, while the staff beamed.

The young server, grateful, offered their meal for free, but Archer shook his head and pressed five gold coins into her hand. Her eyes widened, and she hurried off to consult the owner, an elegant older woman with light green hair and striking blue eyes, who had slipped into the cafe during their meal.

ʼʼItʼs good to see you acting as a father, my emperor,ʼʼ she said.

Archerʼs eyes narrowed. ʼʼActing? I am their father, and why shouldnʼt I bring them out? My girls are not flowers to be kept locked away.ʼʼ

When the woman heard this, she bowed her head. ʼʼI didnʼt mean to offend you, my lord. Itʼs just not many nobles spend time with their children, let alone if they are girls.ʼʼ

ʼʼThatʼs wrong,ʼʼ he responded, pointing at his babies. ʼʼThese girls will rule this world! Freya will sit on the throne as empress! The others will be great in their ways, but Iʼll be behind them all the way.ʼʼ

Freya let out a squeal as her sister Neoma poked her side, making the others laugh as Elise started teasing Amelia, who began crying, forcing Archer to rush to the pink-eyed little girl and scoop her up. This took the cafe owner by surprise as an honest smile stretched across her face. ʼʼMy apologies, now I realize that you arenʼt like other nobles or rulers. I can see you adore these lucky little girls.ʼʼ

ʼʼDonʼt worry about it, but I have to go,ʼʼ Archer replied, scooping up his daughters until all six were in his arms.

This scene was amusing as the strongest being on Thrylos was being a doting parent, shocking the other people watching. By the time he vanished alongside the Oathkeepers, the word spread that he liked taking his girls out, causing markets to pop up all over the empire, hoping heʼd visit them.

And by the fates, Archer appeared in one of them, trying to give the women some time to themselves. With the six little girls in his arms, he explored the market looking for stuff to buy and shortly noticed a stall and approached it, exciting the babies as Freya began babbling as if to tell him something.

ʼʼYes, my little star,ʼʼ he replied to words he didnʼt understand. ʼʼIʼll buy something for each of you and the women, thereʼs no favourites here.ʼʼ

Neoma and Kela got excited at his words, prompting him to kiss all their foreheads. ʼʼNo favourites, I love you all the same,ʼʼ he looked at Elise and Amelia, ʼʼThat goes for you both as well, you may be my youngest, but you mean the same to me.ʼʼ

Archer leaned down and whispered conspiratorially. ʼʼDonʼt tell your mothers, but I love you girls even more than them.ʼʼ

With his six daughters bubbling with excitement, Archer approached a stall selling hundreds of stuffed monsters. The babies eagerly reached out, their tiny hands grasping for the colorful toys. As Archer scanned the display, he froze, recognizing familiar shapes among the plush figures, Nala, Leira, Lucrezia, Teuila, and others, crafted in their alternate forms.

ʼʼOh wow,ʼʼ he muttered. ʼʼSeems like the women are getting fanbases.ʼʼ

Archer caught several children staring at a plushie of his dragon form, but one boy turned and gaped at him, wide-eyed. With a warm smile, Archer purchased the six stuffed toys his daughters had chosen. The woman handed them over, and the girls squealed. Evelyn clutched a plushie of Leiraʼs other form tightly, and the others each picked a toy resembling one of the women, their faces alight with joy.

Freya clung to a plushie of Teuilaʼs other form, Neoma proudly held Nalaʼs, and Kela snuggled Lucreziaʼs. Amelia and Elise each chose a different-colored version of Kassandraʼs Kraken plushie. With the girls beaming over their new toys, Archer paid the vendor, slipping in extra coins for the group of children nearby, their eyes still wide with wonder.

ʼʼThank you, my lord,ʼʼ the stall owner said respectfully.

Following that, Archer continued through the market with the babies floating beside him, busy inspecting the plushies. This put a smile on his face as Siaʼs voice echoed in his mind. ʼWeʼre back from the baths and having a drink, my love.ʼ

ʼDo you mind having them to sunset?ʼ she continued.

A warm smile appeared. ʼ See you then, tell the others I said hello and kidnapping the girls, so theyʼll never see them again.ʼ

He chuckled when he heard the older womanʼs amused giggle. ʼBe my guest, that little deva loves you more, seems like sheʼs a daddyʼs girl.ʼ

Archer leaned down and kissed Freyaʼs forehead, startling the white-haired girl. A radiant smile spread across her adorable face, and she threw her arms around him. He lifted her gently, holding her close as she nuzzled into his neck, warmth melting his heart as he held her close.

After that, he sensed that Elise, Amelia, and Kela were hungry, prompting him to ask. ʼʼDo you three want some milk? Your mothers gave me some?ʼʼ

Their heads snapped in his direction, making him laugh before reassuring them. ʼʼDonʼt worry, letʼs find somewhere quiet and Iʼll feed each of you.ʼʼ

Archer led his six daughters to a peaceful park, hidden away from the cityʼs chaos. The area was quiet, with only a few families dotting the landscape, their distant laughter carried on the breeze. Majestic trees stood sentinel, their leaves whispering as sunlight filtered through, painting the ground in shifting patterns of light and shadow.

He chose a spot beneath a grand oak, its broad branches offering a natural shelter. Settling onto the cool, soft grass, Archer ensured his daughters, Freya, Neoma, Kela, Amelia, Elise, and Evelyn, were nestled close. Their plush toys lay scattered around them, clutched tightly in tiny hands.

From his Item Box, Archer summoned the bottles given to him by the women long ago. Each bottle glimmered faintly with magic, perfectly suited for his girls. He cradled each daughter in turn, offering the bottles. Freya giggled as she drank, her white hair catching the sunlight, while Neomaʼs serious expression softened with each sip. Kela nestled closer, clutching her Lucrezia plushie, and Amelia and Elise babbled happily, their Kraken toys tucked under their arms.

Evelyn, still holding her motherʼs plushie, gazed up at him, eyes full of love. The moment was quiet, the parkʼs beauty amplifying the bond between them. Their soft coos and happy sighs mingled with the rustling leaves, creating a perfect balance that warmed his heart as he tended to them under the ancient oak.

After Archer had carefully fed each of the babies, ensuring they were all content and satisfied, he turned his attention to their comfort. Moments later, he arranged soft, plush cushions around them, creating cozy nests. He then pulled out their favorite blankets, each one uniquely patterned with colors, chosen to suit their personalities.

ʼʼHere we go, my little stars, time for you to be comfortable as your mothers relax,ʼʼ he sweetly said.

Archer draped the blankets over them, tucking the edges snugly to keep them warm. He hummed a soft tune, his deep voice resonating with a calming warmth that made the babies gurgle in delight. Once they were all settled, he sat cross-legged on the ground in front of them.

The babyʼs wide, curious eyes locked onto him as he began to weave tales of his grand adventures. His voice, rich and animated, rose and fell like the rhythm of a distant sea, instantly captivating his tiny audience. He spoke of far-off lands, of misty forests and darkness-covered valleys, where he had roamed as a boy, his mana painting pictures in the air.

When the girls saw them, their eyes widened in amazement as he showed them the jungles he traveled through, the deserts he conquered, or the waves he dived into. As a swarm of sea monsters passed by, causing their heads to follow the mana images.
