Chapter 915: Chapter 329 Federation Mission (Two-in-One Chapter)_4

Accelerate the growth of the Blood Feather?

Wouldn’t that mean I could soon soar freely through the sky like a Griffin Knight or Dragon Knight!

“Thank you, Lady Delana, this item is very useful to me,” Rein expressed his gratitude.

“Well! Then I’m off!” Delana patted Anna’s hand and then headed into the garden woodland beside them, quickly disappearing into the forest.

Soon after, with a loud cry of an eagle, Rein and Anna looked up to the sky, knowing that Delana had truly departed.

At this moment, the sound of commotion came from outside the mansion!

Rein looked up to see Neoro and Angus both arriving, with Angus carrying two people in his hands, they seemed to be from the Sam Group or attendants of the Earth Dragon Knight.

And after a while, the noble district guards, Night Watchman forces, and City Guard all arrived.

Rein simultaneously comforted his mother Emma, Jennifer, and the unintended disaster victim Agatha, while briefly explaining to the noble district sheriff what had transpired that night.

Soon, the Sword Bearers Branch sent people over to take over the scene.

Only then did Rein find the time to return to his room to rest.

…

The next morning.

Rein’s study.

“Knock knock knock!”

“Come in!”

Task Hall Assistant Olena entered with a smile, saying:

“Lord Rein, I didn’t expect you to return to Mingster so soon.”

“Yesterday morning, I received your report on the Blood Curse Naga Cave and the Secret Snake Sect missions and immediately forwarded it to Admiral Edward. You should have seen Admiral Edward’s shocked expression at the time.”

At this point, Olena covered her mouth and laughed softly.

Clearly, as Rein’s liaison officer, Olena was proud of Rein’s outstanding achievements.

“An Ancient Blood Curse Naga High Priest, plus a Legendary Strongman of the Secret Snake Sect, and a Legendary Earth Snake. All of these add up to three Legendary Strongmen, yet you managed to deal with all of them.”

“You are truly amazing! It’s just that…. sigh….” The competent young woman Olena couldn’t help but sigh.

“Hmm? Lady Olena, what’s the matter?”

Rein was quite puzzled by Olena’s sudden sigh of lament.

Could it be that completing missions efficiently is actually a bad thing?

“I’m afraid your situation, even Admiral Edward can’t cover it up for long. Sooner or later, you’ll be transferred to the Imperial Headquarters, and just thinking about that makes me….”

Rein couldn’t help but smile.

That was the reason.

“Lady Olena, I think I won’t be leaving Mingster for the Imperial City in the short term. If the headquarters wants to transfer me, they would likely first seek my opinion. I’ll also try to delay it as much as possible,” Rein said with a smile.

Rein himself planned to settle down for a while.

Especially with the Advanced Meditation Method acquired from Mogaro, and the Puppetry Technique, all of which require some time to learn.

Furthermore, after being promoted to the Epic Level Profession “King of Thousand Blades,” Rein also needed time to ponder, summarize, and improve.

Only by doing so could he fully unleash the potential of this Epic Level Profession.

In last night’s battle, he used a core skill ‘Bloodthirsty Frenzy,’ but it was an incomplete version, as his injuries at the time were minor.

And there was no chance to use the other core skill ‘Weakness Control’ at all.

“Great, Lord Rein, as long as you are in the branch, I’ll ensure to provide my best services to you,” Olena nodded heavily, smiling.

“By the way, the last time you mentioned, was there any confirmation about the Sealing Gate supposedly found near the Dragon Tooth Pass?”

“Not yet; only three days have passed, and the team should have just arrived there. It will take at least two to three more days before any definite news comes in,” Olena shook her head and replied.

“Alright! Notify me the first moment you receive any news,” Rein nodded.

Indeed, given the distance and the adverse environment and exploration involved, it requires more time.

“Yes, Lord Rein.”

“So, no tasks are coming up in the next few days?”

“Yes, Lord Rein. However, in three days, a large delegation from the Eagle Federation will be passing through Mingster. Admiral Edward hopes you could attend the welcoming banquet.”

“The Eagle Federation?” Rein raised his eyebrows, slightly surprised.

Although he had encountered the Eagle Federation twice, those were battles against the Leviathan Team from the Eagle Federation.

Additionally, if it could be counted, there was also Iron Man from the Bloodtop Mercenary Corps, who was reportedly from the Eagle Federation. Currently, Rein’s trophy cabinet still held remnants of Iron Man’s metallic arm, crafted by a top master in Puppetry Technique from the Eagle Federation.

“Yes, Lord Rein.”

“How are they coming? With the current intense battle with the Sea Clan, it might be difficult for them to safely reach the waters near Mingster, right?”

“Lord Rein, the Eagle Federation delegation isn’t traveling by ship but via a giant airship. You might not know, but the Federation’s airship technology is more advanced than ours,” Olena explained.

“I see, Lady Olena, please let Admiral Edward know that I will attend,” Rein nodded.

He was quite curious about the Eagle Federation.

…

—————–

Meanwhile.

Above the coast of the Eagle Federation, a massive, elliptical airship was slowly heading towards the vast azure sea.

At the bow of the airship, a middle-aged man in a Federation officer’s uniform respectfully addressed a middle-aged noble-dressed woman beside him:

“Lady Trena, why aren’t we flying directly to the Dragan Empire’s Imperial City Tamriel, but instead, heading to their Mingster Province first?”

“Since we’re going, we should naturally understand the current situation of the Dragan Empire,” the woman named Trena replied.

“I heard that over in Mingster, some Sea Clan members, incited by the Sea God Sect, are in conflict with the Dragan Empire. We might as well observe.”
