The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Nathalie Quinlan was holding her phone with one hand, seemingly editing a message or replying to someone, and upon hearing his words, she slightly lifted her head to look at him, realizing what Amadeus Yancey was talking about.

She nodded, opened the passenger car door without any objections.

After Nathalie got in the car, she fastened her seatbelt, and once again focused her attention on the phone.

She had just replied to a message from a Black Mandala member [Greenie] who seemed to be online waiting for her.

Another new message arrived immediately after.

Nathalie hadn’t had a chance to look at it yet.

Just then, she heard Sadam Vinson, sitting in the back seat, unable to suppress his excitement as he said to her, ”Nathalie, where’s that pink diamond raw stone of yours?”

”Huh? In my bag.”

Sadam Vinson, quite interested, said, ”How about you take it out and show us, Nathalie?”

Nathalie didn’t check the phone first. Seeing how eager he was, she took her backpack, unzipped it, and casually fished out the pink diamond from inside.

Then she handed the pigeon-egg-sized raw diamond stone to him and said indifferently, ”If you like it, I’ll give it to you.”

Sadam Vinson was taken aback, looking down at the uncut, uneven diamond stone in his hand, embarrassed for a moment, and said, ”Isn’t this thing worth quite a bit? And you’re just giving it to me like that?”

He estimated the size of the diamond; from this size, quite a few perfectly shaped diamonds could be cut.

Additionally, natural pink diamonds are very rare, a treasure that even the wealthy wives in Beijing’s auctions would spend a fortune to pursue.

This one Nathalie casually handed to him was at least worth several tens of millions.

If a famous designer was hired to design it, it might even be worth billions.

”Yep.” After handing the raw diamond stone to him, Nathalie put her backpack aside and picked up her phone again, casually browsing through messages, somewhat absent-minded: ”I have a lot of those things, if you want it, it’s yours.”

She said it offhandedly, without giving it much thought.

Sadam Vinson didn’t relate it to the Illegal Zone either.

Only Amadeus Yancey, almost instantly as the girl’s voice dropped, mentioned: ”I remember there’s a famous diamond tycoon in the Illegal Zone...”

Nathalie paused her messaging, looked up, their eyes meeting.

Someone’s gaze was deep black and shadowy, reflecting her image, thin lips slightly curled with an enigmatic smile, as if he understood everything.

She suddenly realized she might have said too much again.

Feeling slightly irritated, Nathalie pressed down the side car window, rested her arm outside, and for a moment didn’t continue this topic.

However, Sadam Vinson, having heard of the diamond tycoon in the Illegal Zone, chirped in: ”Amadeus, are you talking about the one in the Illegal Zone? I’ve also heard of that person; I heard he has an entire complete diamond production chain. Quite an impressive person.”

”Yeah.” Amadeus Yancey cast an enigmatic glance at the girl with her head down and wearing a Duckbill Cap without uttering a word, and said with a suggestive tone: ”She probably isn’t lacking any diamonds.”

Sadam Vinson hadn’t yet associated it with Nathalie Quinlan, promptly responding: ”Isn’t that stating the obvious? If someone’s a diamond tycoon, how could they lack diamonds? ’He’ probably has the most diamonds on hand!”

Amadeus Yancey chuckled lightly again.

He didn’t rush to start the car and just placed his long, fair hand on the steering wheel, suddenly turning his head to look at the girl, chuckling mischievously: ”Nathalie, what do you say?”

Nathalie: ”...”

She started feeling like someone seemingly knew everything.

Is he trying to provoke her?!

She maintained a blank expression, resting her arm, and didn’t make a sound nor answer Amadeus Yancey’s question.
