The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 1964: Chapter 1964: Introducing Amadeus Yancey to Kenzie Nabours and the Others

Nathalie Quinlan had just put down her phone and heard the conversation, she looked up and saw everyone was watching her, waiting for her to speak.

She suddenly felt a bit restless, and was not accustomed to this kind of occasion. Holding a cup, she paused for a second and her voice was slightly hoarse: ”Amadeus Yancey.”

”The other one is my friend, Sadam Vinson.”

She thought for a moment, feeling that the introduction was a bit dry, she added: ”None of them are from Inderia, they came with me this time.”

She introduced Amadeus Yancey and Sadam Vinson to Yuni Davidson and the others, and then turned her head to introduce the few people sitting across to Amadeus and Sadam.

”This is Mrs. Davidson...” she first introduced Marcella Davidson, then introduced Yuni Davidson, Jaycent Kingsley, and Kenzie Nabours in sequence.

This time, in addition to Kenzie Nabours and the others, the old butler also came.

The old butler did not sit down initially, he was serving tea and water to everyone on the side.

After Nathalie Quinlan made the introductions, her gaze fell on him, with no disdainful attitude, she introduced him to Amadeus Yancey and Sadam Vinson earnestly.

The Moore family’s old butler was somewhat flattered, recalling his initial attitude towards the girl, he felt a bit ashamed, his face burning.

Fortunately, Kenzie Nabours noticed, silently patted his shoulder, calming his excited and embarrassed mood.

Only then did the old butler calm down, and when he looked at Nathalie Quinlan again, his eyes were much more affectionate, and the initial awkwardness was gone, he gently asked the girl: ”Ms. Quinlan, would you like me to add some water for you? I’ll add some more water for you.”

Nathalie Quinlan didn’t say anything, she handed her cup to him.

The old butler breathed a sigh of relief, relaxed even more, quickly added some hot water to her cup, and placed the cup back at the girl’s side.

Amadeus Yancey, who was thriving in Beijing, was inherently skilled in social interactions.

He rarely encountered occasions requiring his social prowess, but when needed, his social skills were not inferior to those of Sadam Vinson.

Sadam Vinson was even more, with a lively personality and was chatty.

Both of them managed to enliven the atmosphere in the private room.

Kenzie Nabours was unaware of the background of the two, but through a meal’s conversation, he vaguely felt that the two friends brought by Nathalie Quinlan were of notable status.

Especially Nathalie Quinlan’s boyfriend, Amadeus.

He was evidently not an ordinary person.

At least, he’d casually start a topic and the counterpart could easily keep up with the conversation.

Even when he talked about things concerning The First Research Institute, the other party seemed to have an in-depth understanding, as though they could foresee the inner workings of The Institute.

Sadam Vinson and Jaycent Kingsley could chat even more.

Both loved stock trading.

Sadam Vinson previously said he wanted to gift Nathalie Quinlan a stock, so when he met Jaycent Kingsley, who excelled in financial stock trading, they hit it off immediately.

Jaycent Kingsley shared a lot of stock trading secrets with him, even recommending a few stocks on the spot, and they added each other as friends.

Nathalie Quinlan was actually the person who spoke the least, mainly listening to them while focusing on eating.

Kenzie Nabours probably didn’t know what flavors she liked, so he ordered dishes of every flavor.

Among them, by luck, was the spicy chicken dish Nathalie Quinlan loved.

Amadeus Yancey, while engaging in conversation with Kenzie Nabours and Marcella Davidson, Yuni Davidson, kept placing food into the girl’s bowl from time to time.

He would always add more dishes to Nathalie Quinlan’s bowl as she was finishing the food, especially her favorite spicy chicken dish, he simply moved the dish in front of the girl for convenience.
