Extraordinary in Reality Through Magic Games

193: Chapter 191 Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry – Amherst Sorting House?Massachusetts Institute of Technology, abbreviated as MIT, is located in Massachusetts, America, and is a The World-renowned private research university.

This was a suitable science university that Zhang Mu had selected nearby.

Upon arriving at the school, considering the need to save time, he did not try to use any unconventional methods to enroll, but instead directly activated his Shadow Technique to enter the classrooms and listen to lectures.

But after a day had passed, he found this to be quite inconvenient.

It wasn’t that he couldn’t resolve his doubts about the knowledge by thinking for himself or looking up materials, but rather that it consumed much more energy.

It certainly couldn’t compare to the speed of a teacher’s meticulous, almost surgical explanation.

However, class time was limited, and with so many questions, the only way was to specifically seek out the teachers after class to ask them.

To others, Zhang Mu didn’t exist, so he obviously couldn’t do that.

So on the second day, Zhang Mu found a student with zero social activities, almost no friends, a very ordinary appearance, and a weak presence. He used his Mental Energy to knock the student unconscious and threw him into the ”The World.”

He then activated his Transformation Technique to assume the student’s identity and sat openly in a classroom seat to listen to the lecture.

Three days passed in the blink of an eye, and Zhang Mu hadn’t rested for a single second.

He attended classes normally during the day, and during his remaining free time, he was either reading books for the knowledge he needed or dragging professors along to ask for guidance.

That responsible physics professor did not show any impatience when faced with Zhang Mu’s initially somewhat basic questions.

One must know that even in the The World’s best universities, there is no shortage of students who entered through the back door, even if they aren’t many.

Usually, schools do not hold high expectations for such students, and the teachers are naturally the same.

But when he heard the slightly ”low-end” questions, he directly led Zhang Mu to his office and patiently analyzed the problems for him.

Over the next two days, he became increasingly surprised.

Zhang Mu’s speed of progress exceeded his understanding.

To use a somewhat inappropriate analogy.

On the first day, he felt like a babbling child was sitting across from his desk, and on the second day, it was a mentally mature adult.

And by the third day, he had already become a knowledgeable wise man.

The knowledge he explained every day was not only thoroughly absorbed by Zhang Mu but also applied in manifold ways.

To the point that the professor had an illusion that he wasn’t teaching a human, but rather inputting data into a state-of-the-art computer.

There was no need to consider comprehension ability, nor any worry about memory.

Even if data was input in a disorganized mess, it could automatically integrate and sort it; one only had to click the mouse twice, and the desired information would quickly and neatly appear before their eyes.

Compared to this, the feeling Zhang Mu gave the professor was even more terrifying.

Because as far as current computers were concerned, they could not surpass humans.

Perhaps their speed in summarizing files and calculating data crushed humans, but they ultimately could not research new patterns based on existing foundations.

But Zhang Mu was different.

Today was the third day since their Q&A sessions began, and the professor realized that their current situation was less like teaching and more like a ”discussion.”

Even, as the topics deepened, the professor found himself somewhat unable to keep up with Zhang Mu’s train of thought.

When the professor got stuck answering a question from Zhang Mu for the umpteenth time.

”Gao,” he smiled apologetically, ”on my way home yesterday, I was thinking of asking you today if you would be willing to apply for my graduate program.”

Raising his left arm, he stared at his wrist: ”But after chatting all morning, I feel it’s probably unnecessary now.”

Zhang Mu, wearing an ordinary face, replied with a smile: ”You flatter me.”

”Excessive modesty is pride; admitting your talent is not something to be ashamed of.

Oh, you people from Hua Country call this behavior ’humility’.”

”And being reserved,” Zhang Mu said cheerfully.

”Well, after all, I’ve never been to that land.” The professor took off his glasses and picked up a cotton cloth to gently wipe the lenses. ”By the way.

Do you know what happened in London?”

”I think as long as one isn’t blind, they would see the news.”

”Yes, on my way to the cafeteria and back to the office, the students I passed were all discussing it.”

Putting his glasses back on his nose, the professor’s tone betrayed hesitation: ”What do you think is the probability of it being real?”

Without giving an answer, Zhang Mu asked back: ”What is your opinion?”

”I’d love to say it’s illogical.” The professor was a bit excited, gesturing wildly with his hands in front of him. ”That Queen of Ying Country said Hogwarts has existed for thousands of years,

yet humanity hasn’t made even the slightest discovery related to it.

And then there’s magic. According to the descriptions in novels, the mana required to cast magic should be a type of element or energy.

But the composition of the Blue Star’s atmosphere has long been explored in depth countless times.”

”So, Professor, do you think it’s a lie?”

”No, the Queen indeed looks younger...” His eyes flickered. ”It could also be some kind of drug...

Unless I personally go there with instruments, I cannot reach a conclusion.”

”It’s just... heh, Hogwarts probably wouldn’t be interested in an old man who’s about to enter the grave.” The white-haired professor’s smile held a deeply hidden trace of regret.

”News reports say that Hogwarts’ admissions do not focus on age, profession, or other standards humans use to judge their own merits.”

”I’ve already been rej—” The professor blurted out halfway before realizing his slip of the tongue and quickly shut his mouth.

But it was clearly a bit too late; Zhang Mu’s hearing was not poor.

”Hm?”

He was puzzled. His first batch of Interview Letters was only distributed in London, and he didn’t know the professor before coming to MIT, so where did this rejection come from?

Where did this Hogwarts American Branch come from?

The doubt lasted only for the blink of an eye.

Good grief, was someone impersonating Hogwarts to run a scam?

They’ve got quite the nerve.

Understanding what was going on, his expression remained unchanged: ”Professor, are you sure the organization you encountered was really Hogwarts?”

”You have to keep it a secret.”

”Of course.”

Knowing that the situation was irreversible, the professor stood up, locked the door, and closed the windows tight.

Sitting back in his chair, he organized his thoughts: ”Actually, I wouldn’t recommend you go.”

This was getting more and more interesting. Zhang Mu asked with great interest, ”You just said that unless you personally went to Hogwarts, you couldn’t reach a conclusion about it.”

”That’s right.” The professor smiled bitterly. ”I was rejected, wasn’t I?”

”I want to see them, you...”

”You need a recommendation letter.”

”How do you get one?”

”You have to keep it a secret,” he emphasized once more.

Zhang Mu made a serious guarantee. In the office where there were clearly only the two of them, the professor looked around a few times before lowering his voice:

”It’s a student; her name is Kaya.”

”Kaya?”

A very familiar name.

After a moment of recollection, Zhang Mu remembered.

She was a peer of ”his,” a socialite with an outstanding appearance and figure who had acquaintances everywhere she went.

They had met more than once in the professor’s specialized courses.

”Thank you for your help.” Standing up, Zhang Mu turned to go find her.

From behind came the professor’s third reiteration: ”Keep it a secret.”
