Ms. Diviner: The Prodigal Daughter's Return

Chapter 1797: Chapter 1797: Intuition

Holding the Heavenly Guiding Compass, he searched for a whole two hours without finding the teleportation point. How could Han Yan determine it so definitively?

Wen Gaoren was also surprised and looked at Han Yan. Utilizing teleportation points for distant travel is a common method used by most priests. When he previously came to Huayu Temple, he did so; Long Wudang and Ou Mingzhi did the same. Hence, he wasn’t unfamiliar with teleportation points.

Though he was skilled in the Array Formation Technique, even without relying on the Heavenly Guiding Compass, he couldn’t find the location of the teleportation point, yet didn’t know why Han Yan was so sure.

”Of course, it’s found. Just trust me,” Han Yan said with a slight smile.

”Master Priest, are you really sure? Remember, even with a teleportation point, setting up an array requires quite a bit of Meteorite Gold. If the location is mistaken, it’s all wasted,” Sikong Qinglan wasn’t disbelieving Han Yan but the matter was too unusual. Considering the limited Meteorite Gold, he dared not take risks.

”Indeed, Master Priest, this cannot rely solely on intuition; it’s best to be cautious,” Wen Gaoren also advised. The term Master Cheng kept mentioning was a sore point for Han Yan, and he dared not mention it again.

”Alright, then let’s try another piece of Meteorite Gold,” Han Yan thought for a moment and said.

Though she never doubted her judgment, this being her first contact with such a teleportation point, she wondered what if it was wrong. There was no need to risk to save a small piece of Meteorite Gold.

Sikong Qinglan immediately selected carefully and placed a piece of lower-quality Meteorite Gold on the Heavenly Guiding Compass. The light flickered, and soon the Meteorite Gold turned into stone powder and dispersed with the wind, its energy stored within the Heavenly Guiding Compass. The tiny Star Points became brighter.

Holding the Heavenly Guiding Compass, Sikong Qinglan walked forward and backward several steps, then sideways a few steps, finally stopping in front of Han Yan, looking at the enduringly bright Star Points on the compass, then with a shocked look, stared at Han Yan.

Han Yan had retreated a few steps earlier; now he stood precisely where Han Yan had pointed initially.

Wen Gaoren was equally astonished, even if it were him, finding a teleportation point through the Heavenly Guiding Compass would not be easy. Han Yan actually found it without any external aid, by herself! His gaze grew even more fervent.

”I knew it would be like this, deserves wasting Meteorite Gold,” Ling Baobao muttered indifferently.

”Alright, let’s start the array setup,” Han Yan took the lead.

The previous search for the teleportation point had already delayed a lot of time. Seeing it was getting late, she didn’t want to wait any longer.

Wen Gaoren and Sikong Qinglan, as if awakening from a dream, hurried forward to assist.

This type of small Transmission Array could only be used once, saving materials and being simpler. The three of them combined efforts and quickly completed the array setup. Sikong Qinglan first used the Heavenly Guiding Compass to set the other end of the Teleportation Array, then activated the array.

A flash of light, the carriage along with several people vanished, leaving the pile of Meteorite Gold turning into powder, drifting away without a trace.

Moments later, the figures of several people appeared several thousand miles away.

Though the other end’s position was set using the Heavenly Guiding Compass, it was after all one-way, not as precise as a two-way Transmission Array. Hence, this place remained several hundred miles from the next teleportation point.

Riding the carriage, the group headed towards the next teleportation point.

”We’ve arrived; it’s nearby,” Sikong Qinglan, staring eagerly at the Heavenly Guiding Compass, suddenly shouted.

This time, Han Yan was the first to jump off the carriage, not waiting for Sikong Qinglan to search aimlessly like a headless chicken. She gathered her Divine Sense and began to search.

”This is it,” Han Yan stopped after a short effort and affirmed.

Sikong Qinglan looked at the Heavenly Guiding Compass in his hand, hesitated a moment. Earlier disbelief in Han Yan’s words made him feel apologetic, yet this time Han Yan had found the teleportation point quickly, so he could hardly believe it and felt embarrassed to doubt it again.

”Try again,” Han Yan, understanding his feelings, didn’t mind and said reassuringly.

With those words, Han Yan stepped back a few steps just like last time.

Sikong Qinglan considered it, directly standing where she had stood before, the Heavenly Guiding Compass above, the small Star Points glowing a silver light, enduringly bright.

”Master Priest, how did you find it?” Sikong Qinglan couldn’t help but ask.

”Intuition,” Han Yan replied frankly.

Intuition? Sikong Qinglan smiled bitterly; if things could be done based on intuition, what use was the Heavenly Guiding Compass? Even among the Main Priests from various temples, it’s said even the Master Priest of the Life God Temple must rely on the Heavenly Guiding Compass for teleportation points, only his temple’s Master Priest has such terrifying intuition.

Wen Gaoren’s gaze grew even more fervent. The so-called intuition, to ordinary people, seemed akin to daydreaming, but to priests with high cultivation, intuition often came with enhanced Six Senses from a strong Divine Sense. Though Han Yan’s current ability might not yet be immensely strong, such intuition, such powerful Divine Sense, even the Master Priest of Life God Temple might not compare!

To what heights would her future cultivation reach? If he could become her disciple, what a great opportunity would that be? With these thoughts, Wen Gaoren’s intent to become her disciple grew stronger.

”Do you know how this teleportation point came to be?” Han Yan, unaware Wen Gaoren harbored thoughts of becoming her disciple, pondered and asked.

”I’ve never heard of it; as far as I know, it’s been here since ancient times,” Sikong Qinglan, possessing only a basic understanding of arrays, had never considered this question before, casually replied.

”It indeed has been since ancient times. I’ve researched before; at least hundreds of thousands of years ago, the continent had these teleportation points. Though my instinct suggests they might be naturally occurring,” Wen Gaoren’s expertise in arrays far surpassed Sikong Qinglan’s, and he had thought about it before but had no clear conclusion. From the ancient books’ records, these teleportation points seem to have existed since ancient times; they may indeed be naturally occurring.

Despite the growing intent to become Han Yan’s disciple, fearing it would displease her, he didn’t pursue it fervently like before.

With dedication, gold and stone can open; slow and steady, slow and steady. He was prepared for a long endeavor.

”Naturally occurring?” Han Yan shook her head.

If her intuition wasn’t wrong, the Law Aura around here was very similar to the temple’s Array Barrier. Precisely for this reason, the Heavenly Guiding Compass seemed to resonate. Could it be that long ago, there was a temple here? After its collapse, it left behind the array’s aura.
