Ms. Diviner: The Prodigal Daughter's Return

Chapter 344: 344 instigation failed and got beaten

”Slap!” With a wave of his hand, Yan Yuchu knocked Mu Ze to the ground.

”What are you doing?” Mu Ze, dizzy from the slap, asked dumbfounded.

”You’re right, I indeed don’t dare to lay a hand on Mu Hanyan, but dealing with you is no trouble at all.” Yan Yuchu smiled sinisterly, then pounced on Mu Ze and began to beat and kick him mercilessly.

On Mu Ze’s face, he seemed to see again those contemptible faces of his fellow clan members, and seemed to hear their mockery and scoffing. Empathizing with the emotion, the anger that had long been suppressed in his heart was ignited, and he struck without mercy.

The yard soon filled with Yan Yuchu’s pitiful screams for his parents.

”Ah... it wasn’t me, I wasn’t the one who wanted to fight, it was Mu Hanyan, ah... help!” Mu Ze screamed in agony while crying and trying to explain.

Yan Yuchu had been ready to stop but hearing this, he became even angrier and struck even harder.

”It wasn’t me, really it wasn’t me.” The afternoon sky was clear with gentle winds and a scorching sun, yet as Mu Ze, swelling up like a pig’s head with eyes as puffed as a goldfish’s, looked up into the sky, he felt incredibly cold and miserable.

This Yan Yuchu, didn’t he have a good temper to start with? How could he flip so suddenly? And wasn’t Mu Hanyan supposed to be the one getting beaten, as he was the leader? How did it turn out to be him?

Seeing Mu Ze’s battered and bruised condition, Mu Yuying and the others felt somewhat sympathetic, but they were not foolish. They could clearly hear his previous attempts at provocation and despised him even more, thus they felt lazy to plead on his behalf.

Of course, seeing the brutal and ruthless side of Yan Yuchu also sapped their courage to plead, only feeling in awe that this City Lord Yan truly had an unpredictable nature. Just a moment ago, he was as pleasant as a spring breeze towards Brother Han Yan, and in a blink, he turned into a terrifying figure.

”Idiot, the beating is indeed for you. Don’t you know that Lord City Master has taken a fancy to someone else? How could he possibly make a move?” Just then, a guard, looking disdainfully at Mu Ze, muttered under his breath.

While Yan Yuchu was thoroughly abusing him, he didn’t hear this comment, but Mu Yuying and the others widened their eyes in shock, looking at Yan Yuchu and then at Mu Hanyan, their expressions becoming extremely strange.

Mu Hanyan also heard these words and felt a chill all over, his scalp tingling as he looked at Yan Yuchu with a uniquely strange gaze: No way, does this guy really have that sort of inclination? No wonder there was something odd about the way he looked last night.

”Cough, cough, City Lord Yan, Brother Mu Ze is a disciple of our Mu Family. Although his words were somewhat offensive, please show some mercy.” Mu Hanyan, while finding solace in seeing Mu Ze get beaten, thought about Yan Yuchu’s suspect preferences and decided it was best to leave this place of controversy quickly.

”Sorry, I couldn’t control myself and went too far.” Yan Yuchu immediately stopped and showed Mu Hanyan a smile that was both affectionate and considerate. With a look, he signaled to Mu Hanyan: I’ve seen many like him; you surely must have wanted to act earlier, but it wasn’t convenient. As friends, I just helped you out.

Unfortunately, except for him, including Mu Hanyan, everyone misunderstood his intentions, feeling that his look was overly sentimental and indescribably ambiguous.

”I... we’ll be leaving now,” Mu Hanyan stammered, turning to leave almost in escape. Her sexual orientation was very normal. Although she liked men, she certainly didn’t fancy men who liked other men. It was a bit convoluted, but that was the gist of it.

Mu Yuying and the others also felt overly creeped out, quickly helping Mu Ze up and fleeing in a panic.
