Mr. CEO, You Look Strangely Familiar

Mrs. Marshall asked, ”How is it different?”

”In this world, as long as you’re willing to pay, plenty of handsome young men will be with you. You know Ms. Lawrence, the one who plays cards with us? She has no children, and her husband has several mistresses—a third, a fourth, you name it. But she doesn’t get jealous. He gives her money, and she spends it on young men. She’s told us a few times how wonderful it is.”

Upon hearing this, Mrs. Marshall grew excited. ”Someone like Ms. Lawrence? She’s in her fifties and overweight, but young men still want her?”

”Of course. There’s nothing money can’t buy. Why don’t you try one? Just for a taste. Think about it—a guy around your son’s age. The thought alone is thrilling.”

Mrs. Marshall hesitated. ”They don’t have... diseases, do they?”

”No, of course not. They’re not stupid. They always take precautions when they’re with a client.”

With that reassurance, Mrs. Marshall felt a flicker of anticipation.

The two women got out of Mrs. Marshall’s car and wound their way through a series of alleys to a hair salon.

They went straight inside, where two young men with bleached-blond hair immediately came forward. ”Ladies, what price range are you interested in?”

Mrs. Marshall understood at once. She glanced at her card-playing friend. ”Holly, you tell them.”

Holly smiled. ”Could we see the options before we choose?”

”No problem.”

They were led to the back and up the stairs.

On the second floor, a door was pushed open, revealing a steam-filled room that made Mrs. Marshall’s eyes widen.

It was a large bathroom. Sitting on a sofa inside were four or five men wearing nothing but towels. Each was lean and remarkably good-looking.

”Take your pick. These ones are all new.”

Holly immediately said, ”They all look pretty good.”

Mrs. Marshall’s eyes were instantly drawn to one of them. Pointing to the man in the middle, she said, ”That one.”

The manager chuckled. ”Ma’am, he’s the cream of the crop among our new arrivals. He’s not cheap.”

”How expensive can he be? I want him.”

”Alright. I can see you’re a woman of means; a small sum like this is nothing to you. He’s yours.” The manager grinned and called to the man in the middle, ”Jason Irving, you’re up.”

Jason Irving worked at the *Lust* nightclub in the evenings and part-time here in the afternoons. With his androgynous, handsome looks, he was a favorite among wealthy older women.

To thank Holly for the introduction, Mrs. Marshall said in a low voice, ”Holly, you should pick one too. I’ll pay for you.”

Holly gave a sheepish smile. ”Oh, I couldn’t possibly.”

Mrs. Marshall waved it off. ”It’s nothing. I know you and your husband have been separated for a long time. Don’t be polite.”

”Well, in that case, it would be rude to refuse.” With that, Holly looked over the other young men.

”I’ll take the one on the left.”

The manager nodded. ”Excellent. Please follow me to settle the payment.”

When it came time to pay, she realized he really hadn’t been cheap. The price was 20,000 for one night, so 40,000 for the two of them. Payment was due upfront, and if she wasn’t satisfied, she could make one exchange.

But only one.

Next, they were shown to high-quality, exceptionally soundproof rooms.

The two rooms were adjacent, and they could stay as long as they liked, until they were fully satisfied.

Mrs. Marshall entered her room, and Jason Irving followed her in. The door closed.

Tonight would be a very pleasant evening for Mrs. Marshall.

After dinner, Jean Grant realized that Mrs. Marshall wasn’t home. She watched TV for a long time, and by nearly ten o’clock, her mother-in-law still hadn’t returned.

It wasn’t a huge deal that her mother-in-law was out; the two of them had nothing in common and sometimes clashed.

But Marlon had also been coming home especially late every few days.

She had no choice but to call him again. ”It’s so late. Why aren’t you back yet?”

”Jean, you should go to sleep. My buddy hit someone with his car, so I’m here with him at the hospital.”

Hearing this, Jean Grant immediately asked, ”Is it serious? Is everyone okay?”

”It’s fine. We reached a settlement with the other party. He just injured someone, so we’re still at the hospital. I have to go.” Marlon hung up. He sat in his car, checked the time on his phone, and leaned back against the seat as if waiting for someone.

A few minutes later, there was a KNOCK on the car window. Carol Young got into the passenger seat and gave him an apologetic smile. ”Sorry, something came up and I’m a little late. I had to wait for my parents to fall asleep before I could sneak out.”

Marlon waved it off. ”It’s fine. Our classmates are an easygoing bunch. They’re already at the dance club, just waiting for us.”

”Then let’s hurry,” Carol Young said cheerfully. ”Ever since the night my sister had her accident and you were kind enough to drive me home, I’ve dreamed about you several times. But I can never remember the details when I wake up.”

Marlon was in a good mood. ”Is that so? We’ve gone out together a few times at night since then. I get the feeling you’re a very innocent girl, and you’re pretty, too. Your boyfriend must be a very lucky guy, huh?”

Carol Young gave a shy smile. ”I don’t have a boyfriend.”

Marlon was taken aback for a moment, then smiled. ”Really? You must have high standards. Looking for someone handsome?”

”No, it’s because I haven’t met anyone who makes my heart race,” she explained.

Marlon then asked, ”So what kind of guy are you looking for?”

”Someone like you.”

Marlon’s hand twitched. ”I’m married,” he told her.

”I was just kidding.” As Carol Young said this, she couldn’t hide the disappointment in her eyes.

He saw it all and felt a pang of pity for her.

The car slowly pulled up to the nearby dance club.

By now, the night was quiet, and the streets were much less crowded.

The two of them got out of the car and walked to the entrance of the club.

The dancing figures inside caught their attention.

After scanning the room, they spotted their classmates sitting on a sofa in the back.

”You’re here! You two are the last to arrive. You each have to drink three shots as a penalty.”

Marlon poured himself three glasses. ”Alright, I’ll go first.”

Carol Young drank as well, but as she reached for the last glass, Marlon took it from her. ”I’ll drink this for her.”

The classmates around them cheered.

”Let’s go dance.”

Carol Young took off her coat, revealing a button-up shirt underneath. She tied the bottom of it into a knot, baring her navel.

The look was particularly striking.

She moved into the crowd on the dance floor, swaying her hips, her long hair swinging flirtatiously.

Marlon joined her, dancing close beside her.

Their bodies inevitably brushed against each other, raising their temperature.

The music was too loud to talk normally, so they had to lean in and whisper in each other’s ears to be heard.

Carol Young laughed so hard she swayed, and the way she tossed her head was especially captivating.

It was enough to make any man’s heart itch with desire.

Time slipped by, and soon it was eleven-thirty. Tired from dancing, the two of them sat down on the sofa to rest while their classmates were still on the floor. They sat close together, their relationship looking ambiguous and intimate.

They had also drunk quite a bit, and their words began to ramble.

Gradually, with a silent, mutual understanding, they began saying their goodbyes to their classmates.
