The Yellow-Haired Villain in Soaring Phoenix's Novels Also Desires Happiness

Night flowed like a tide, quiet yet noisy.

Hamreign stood atop a building, overlooking this human city.

Several centuries had passed. Although customs, culture, and architectural styles had already become completely different, humans themselves did not seem to have changed all that much.

Of course, there were still some things that exceeded her expectations.

“Hiss......hah......Senior, gentler......”

“I can’t take it anymore......”

“Using only your foot, isn’t that a little......”

“Wait, there’s already......”

In the courtyard of the inn, a certain yellow-haired man was softly groaning in both pain and pleasure. Although his voice had already been suppressed so low that ordinary people could not hear it at all, it still inevitably flowed into her extraordinarily {N•o•v•e•l•i•g•h•t} powerful senses.

There was actually a second round.

And the partner was even a different human woman.”

The image of a certain yellow-haired man surfaced in Hamreign’s mind, and she instinctively furrowed her brows slightly.

Even if she had no intention of interfering with his desires, spending one night with two human women was perhaps a little too......and with how thin and frail he was, could he really handle it?^

No, that was not right. Why was she even thinking about this?

Hamreign gently shook her head, expelling those strange thoughts from her mind. Her fiery-red hair danced lightly with the movement, as though it might ignite the night itself..

It was somewhat irritating.

Although, just as she had said earlier, she did not care about a little instinctive desire and promiscuity from her companion, this degree of promiscuity seemed to have exceeded her expectations./

“According to humans, a man like this is called......a scumbag?”

Hamreign thought for a moment, recalling some books she had read in the past.*

Scumbag......did not seem to be a particularly flattering term.

From a woman’s perspective, one should probably despise this kind of behavior.’

—But fortunately, she was not one of those narrow-minded human women who were likewise controlled by desire. As his companion, she could tolerate a few small flaws.

“It’s just that those sounds are somewhat annoying.”,

Hamreign murmured to herself, finding a suitable explanation for that irritation.

She did not remain there any longer. Her figure flashed and disappeared from this irritating place./

A few seconds later, she appeared on a secluded path.

This place seemed quiet enough......

“Oh, stop it, you’re awful......”

“Heh, let me kiss you......”

“You damn man, groping me out on the street like this. What if someone sees us?”

“There’s no one else here, relax. And even if there were, wouldn’t that make it more exciting?”

Yet before she had enjoyed the silence for long, two figures suddenly stumbled into the depths of the alley while clinging to and embracing one another.

The alley was dim, and the two were completely immersed in the amorous atmosphere, never noticing that there was actually another observer present.

And so, before long, soft moans began to sound.

Hamreign’s expression stiffened slightly, but soon transformed into a certain indescribable disgust.

“Hah.”

She said coldly, “Humans really are nothing more than pure animals, indulging in the desires of the flesh while believing it to be everything. So-called love amounts to nothing more than this......ridiculous.”

She looked utterly disgusted.

Fortunately......she would never become like that.

She disappeared once again. This time, she went somewhere even quieter, somewhere she definitely would not hear those irritating sounds......

......

......

“Mm......slept so......”

Sunlight spilled through the window as Ariel sat up and stretched beautifully.

After a good night’s sleep, both her mind and body had recovered considerably. Although she had ended up at a slight disadvantage in the fierce battle before sleeping because of a moment of carelessness, that could not wear away her fighting spirit. Instead, the setback only made her more determined.

Next time. Next time she would definitely win!

She absolutely would not let that bastard remain so smug!

Ariel encouraged herself, sprang upright from the bed with a kip-up, and was just about to get dressed and wash up when she looked at the clothes scattered all around and the traces left behind by last night’s battle. Her little face could not help turning red.

It seemed they had gone a little too far. Some places were still damp......hmph, it was all that bastard’s fault!

Ariel planted her little hands on her hips and immediately placed all responsibility for the matter onto a certain hateful yellow-haired man.

After all......she had clearly called for a temporary ceasefire at the time. Who told that bastard to fight without any sense of honor?

“Next time I need to set rules for him. We’ll have a fair and honorable duel like knights. Then I’ll definitely win!”

While constructing the techniques she would use in their next battle inside her little head, Ariel raised a hand and took out the casual clothes she normally prepared—a long dress in a fresh, elegant color, paired with dark over-the-knee stockings and a pair of exquisite round-toed leather boots.

Having worn them many times already, Ariel had now become highly proficient with this sort of complicated clothing, and soon finished dressing.

But after turning around once in front of the mirror, she still felt slightly dissatisfied.

It somehow felt like......something was missing.

After thinking for a while, a certain scene from last night surfaced in her mind. Ariel suddenly understood, took out a small and adorable bow-shaped hair accessory, and carefully fastened it into her glossy, deep-black hair.

She spun around several more times and even struck a few poses, admiring herself from different angles. Only then did she finally clap her hands in satisfaction.

“Hmph......I’m not going to lose!”

It was not as though that stinky dragon was the only one in the world suited to wearing things on her head. Ariel could handle this kind of flashy decoration just as well.

“Though I really don’t have many accessories. I should go buy some......no, I should make that bastard give me more. Why should he only give things to that dragon and not to me?”

Ariel snorted, deciding she needed to find an opportunity to thoroughly “punish” that bastard!

He had better not think that just because she had been unable to resist last night and he had whispered a few nice words into her ear, she would let the matter go so easily!

She was not that easy to fool!

“......You’re buying more hair accessories?”

Just as she was thinking this, a faint voice filled with helplessness and exhaustion appeared directly inside Ariel’s mind:

“Ever since you got together with that brat, the amount of time you spend dressing yourself up every day has gone straight up. Before this, you spent at most five minutes getting ready every morning......”

“Teacher, why are you meddling so much!”

Ariel stomped her foot in embarrassed anger.

“What’s wrong with a woman wanting to look beautiful?”

“......”

Of course there was nothing wrong with that.

It was just......that was not what you used to say.

Peles silently complained to herself.

Teacher was so annoying!

Ariel did not give her any more opportunity to speak. She pouted and directly pushed open the door to walk outside.

And the instant she opened it, she nearly collided head-on with a certain figure.

“Muen?”

Seeing that familiar figure, Ariel first looked delighted, but her expression immediately turned suspicious and disdainful. Folding her arms across her chest, she said: ℯℯ𝑙.

“You actually still have enough strength to get up this early? Hmph......don’t get smug!”

“......What part of me looks smug?”

Muen wore a bitter expression and let out a long sigh. Even though it was morning, he already looked like the sun about to sink below the horizon.

“I only feel that life is far too difficult......”

“Huh?”

Ariel froze. Only then did she notice that Muen currently looked rather exhausted. There were even faint dark circles beneath his eyes. For a warrior of his strength, simply staying awake all night absolutely would not have left him like this.

Could it be......

A sharp gleam flashed through Ariel’s eyes. Her clever little head instantly understood the situation. She clapped her hands and declared with certainty:

“You bastard......so it turns out you didn’t win by that much last night either!”
