Tycoon: I Have an Unlimited Modifier

A knock sounded, and a few seconds later,

Ren Feng pushed open the door to the VIP room, holding a stack of purchase documents.

Behind him followed two staff members holding trays.

After the staff placed bottles of Evian water, freshly squeezed juice, and a fruit platter with cherries and Shine Muscat grapes on the table,

Ren Feng finally handed the price quote to Qi Sheng, saying respectfully, ”Mr. Qi, my apologies for the wait. This is the quote for the car you were looking at.”

”Since you chose an in-stock vehicle, the optional features cannot be changed at this time.”

”The first page is the list of options for this car. Please take a look and see if there is anything you’re not satisfied with.”

Qi Sheng twisted open a bottle of Evian, took a sip, and casually accepted the documents.

”Alright, I’ll take a look.”

The official MSRP for a Cullinan starts at 6.1 million.

The final on-the-road price for this type of luxury car can vary greatly, mainly due to the optional features.

For example, the Cullinan Qi Sheng had chosen was lavishly equipped.

’The classic Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament—you have to have that, right? Without it, what kind of joke of a Rolls-Royce would it even be?’

The gold-plated Spirit of Ecstasy on this car was a 240,000 yuan option.

The single-tone exterior paint was 250,000, and the large polished wheels were 200,000.

The five-seat lounge configuration was 350,000.

The Rolls-Royce bespoke audio system was 220,000, and the rear-seat entertainment system was 180,000...

Since it was part of the dealership’s first batch of orders,

although this Cullinan wasn’t the top-spec model, it wasn’t far from it.

Aside from personalized customizations, it had basically all the available features.

All the optional features added up to a total of 2 million.

The cost of the options alone was enough to buy a G-Wagen or a Maybach S-Class (assuming no markups).

After a quick glance at the spec sheet, Qi Sheng asked directly, ”What’s the total on-the-road price?”

”Mr. Qi, with the options you’ve chosen, the total price of the car comes to 8.1 million.”

”Because it’s a newly released model, and due to requirements from the manufacturer,”

”in terms of price, the most we can do is round it down for you to an even 8 million.”

Ren Feng knew that a 100,000 yuan discount was practically nothing to a tycoon buying a ten-million-plus luxury car.

So, he quickly proposed a way to make up for it.

”As compensation, we will cover your commercial insurance for the first year.”

”Additionally, we will give you a 100,000 yuan fuel card and a maintenance package with unlimited services for the first 100,000 kilometers.”

”Furthermore, we can also handle the license plate registration for you free of charge and help you select a good plate number.”

”If you don’t care about the license plate number, we can offer you another 100,000 off the price.”

”In addition to the 8 million for the car, you’ll also need to pay about 600,000 for purchase tax and another 600,000 for luxury car tax, as well as an 800,000 service fee. The on-the-road price comes out to exactly 10 million.”

million!

Hearing this number, even though they had braced themselves for it,

Pei Yinyin and Xu Ying couldn’t help but stare with wide eyes.

Although they didn’t know much about cars, they knew Rolls-Royces were expensive.

But they had figured five or six million at the most.

They never would have imagined,

that the Cullinan Qi Sheng was interested in would actually cost ten million!

Xu Ying secretly did the math. Based on the 600,000 yuan allowance Qi Sheng gave her,

it would still take her nearly twenty years to afford it.

If she had to rely on her previous income as a sales associate,

by the time she could afford it, she’d probably be in her coffin.

’A year of commercial insurance is about 130,000 to 140,000,’ Qi Sheng calculated in his head. ’Add in the maintenance and everything else, and it’s almost 300,000 to 400,000 in value.’

’A 100,000 yuan fuel card isn’t small change, either. Even if I assume 30,000 a year for gas, it would probably last me for three years.’

’As for the markup, there’s no helping it. The Cullinan just launched, and they’re incredibly hard to come by.’

’If it weren’t for this car’s high-end options making many potential buyers hesitate, it would have been sold long ago.’

’Although some options seemed useless to me, like the 180,000 yuan rear-seat entertainment system, there were only two Cullinans available in all of Chengdu.’

’I could go to another city to pick one up, but it’d definitely be more of a hassle than getting one here in Chengdu.’

’For a rich person, if a problem can be solved with money, you shouldn’t waste time on it.’

’With that kind of time, I could be completing more of the system’s upgrade missions. Tens of millions would be easy to come by. Isn’t that a better deal?’

Compared to the other one, a four-seater version in Dark Tungsten,

Qi Sheng still preferred this red five-seater.

’If I were to place a new order, who knows how long I’d have to wait.’

So, Qi Sheng didn’t hesitate any longer and took out his China Construction Bank private banking card.

”Alright, run the card.”

When Ren Feng saw the black China Construction Bank private banking card, his expression became even more respectful as he accepted it with both hands.

”Please wait a moment.”

Qi Sheng’s private banking card had long been enabled for large-sum transfers and purchases.

Never mind buying a ten-million-yuan luxury car; he could even buy a villa worth tens of millions.

As long as there was money in the card, nothing was a problem.

After signing the contract, Qi Sheng didn’t have to worry about anything else.

The dealership would handle the rest, like paying the purchase tax and getting the license plates.

There was no need for him to personally make a trip to the DMV or any similar place.

As long as the money was there, privileges followed everywhere.

As for the license plate, perhaps because this was the first ten-million-plus car Qi Sheng had ever bought,

with the system’s help, Qi Sheng picked a number he was very satisfied with.

Chuan A·QS888.

The ”QS” represented the initials of his name.

And the ”888” was a lucky triple, a highly sought-after combination.

It’s not like an awesome license plate could improve the car’s performance,

but now that he was rich, there was nothing wrong with boosting his prestige a little.

The paperwork would take some time.

Qi Sheng wasn’t in a hurry; he just treated it as if he were out for afternoon tea.

Ren Feng had already had plenty of drinks, snacks, and fruit platters brought in earlier.
