Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

The Beijing Corpse Dismemberment Case“Let’s start with Xia Country. The Non-Affairs Bureau has more up-to-date information on this, so I’ll go ask Anzi.”

Back on shore, Lin Feng found Qin An’s WeChat, composed a message, and sent it.

Soon, a reply came.

Without any unnecessary words, it directly told Lin Feng which cities in Xia Country had experienced more strange occurrences recently.

They were spread widely across both the north and south.

But it didn’t matter; Lin Feng just needed to find them one by one.

The first target was the capital, Jingcheng.

It was only seven in the evening, and as the capital of Xia Country, the streets of Jingcheng were empty except for the occasional passing vehicle; not a single person could be seen.

The young people who usually went out at night were all staying home obediently at this time.

The reason for all of this was the recent series of dismemberment cases in Jingcheng.

The serial dismemberment cases had only appeared for three days, yet over a hundred people had already died, and the incidents all occurred at night.

Who would dare to go out now?

Online platforms were also fiercely criticizing Jingcheng’s police.

Most of what was said was about poor case-handling efficiency and how so many people had died without the culprit being found.

Little did they know, those committing these acts were not humans at all, but over a dozen beastmen wielding sharp weapons.

Moreover, these beastmen were active at night and hid during the day, moving very stealthily. Only cameras could capture them, but they always managed to disappear into thin air afterward.

The Non-Affairs Bureau had searched for so long and only managed to capture one beastman that hadn’t had time to escape.

They couldn’t find where the other beastmen were at all. In the end, they even searched all the sewers but still found nothing.

They could only patrol at night, ensuring the safety of residents as much as possible, while also waiting for the beastmen to show themselves.

The beastmen’s strength wasn’t the problem; it was their elusive nature.

Even Lin Feng hadn’t found any trace of the beastmen.

“Sure enough.”

Seeing that he couldn’t find any trace of the beastmen with his divine sense, Lin Feng immediately smiled. If he hadn’t guessed wrong, those beastmen should be lurking in a sub-dimension during the day, right?

Then, at night, they would emerge from the sub-dimension to search for targets.

After thinking for a moment, Lin Feng decided to use himself as bait to attract the beastmen.

After a simple disguise, Lin Feng also changed his demeanor. Now, he looked no different from an ordinary passerby.

He was the kind who would get lost in a crowd.

And Lin Feng deliberately chose to walk through some alleys without surveillance. He didn’t believe that those beastmen, who were killing everywhere, wouldn’t appear.

Unknowingly, time reached ten in the evening.

Lin Feng didn’t know how many alleys he had walked through.

But let alone beastmen, he hadn’t even found a single hair of a beastman.

“Is this the wrong place?”

Lin Feng said with some doubt.

Then he took out his phone to check information related to the Jingcheng dismemberment cases.

But the crime scenes were all very random, and there was no mention of them being concentrated in a specific area.

Just as Lin Feng was about to further check the information, he suddenly stopped his movements.

“Finally, they’re here.”

Lin Feng silently said in his heart, “I waited so long and you didn’t come, but as soon as I took out my phone, you showed up, right?”

After enveloping these beastmen with his divine sense, Lin Feng squeezed their heads, and they exploded one by one, but he deliberately left one alive.

This was to find the entrance to the sub-dimension.

These beastmen must know.
