Elevator Survival: Master of Every Floor

Korra?? The hometown of the cursed merchantAs time passed, the situation quickly became grim.

If there had only been one worm, they would have been confident in killing it, but now there were two Giant Worms in front of them.

The dozen or so of them had no way to deal with them.

Soon, the established formation was directly broken through by the Giant Worm, which also swallowed one of the team members whole.

The other Giant Worm, due to severe injuries, returned to the ground.

However, the formation they had set up was now in disarray, making it extremely difficult to inflict significant damage on the Giant Worm.

Watching the Giant Worm’s attack approach again, Lin Feng secretly clenched his hand.

The rapidly crawling Giant Worm immediately flipped over.

The next moment, the Giant Worm’s head exploded directly, splattering blood everywhere. Everyone who saw this scene subconsciously looked at Lin Feng.

Could it be that this Diviner had intervened?

There was no one else nearby, and a Giant Worm couldn’t suddenly die. They had heard that the Diviner’s methods were strange, but they never expected him to be able to kill someone invisibly.

Now, seeing Lin Feng’s confident demeanor, everyone was even more certain that Lin Feng had made the move.

Even the Captain came directly to Lin Feng to express his gratitude.

Seeing Lin Feng calmly wave his hand, everyone couldn’t help but admire him even more.

Although they had lost a teammate, if Lin Feng hadn’t helped them today, the outcome would probably have been even worse.

The Giant Worm’s corpse was not very useful; its only valuable part was its blood, which could be transformed into a healing potion for external injuries after some modification. However, they currently had no container to hold the blood, and they still had a mission to complete.

So the Captain didn’t waste time. He reassembled the team, calmed the panicked camels, and set off again.

Finally, after a day’s journey, the caravan safely arrived at Thornywood City.

After the Captain pointed Lin Feng to the location of the Diviner’s Guild, he urged the camels towards the trading company to hand over the goods.

”This city is a bit worse than I imagined.”

Lin Feng looked around with a sigh.

This city was not much different from Qiaomu Town; it was just Qiaomu Town magnified many times over. The best part was probably the city wall, which was built with stone bricks, but it looked severely corroded by wind and sand, so it wasn’t very sturdy.

After understanding the basic information about this world, Lin Feng also needed to start establishing his own power.

The place he was currently in belonged to the weakest of the five great dynasties, the Scorpion Dynasty.

Initially, Lin Feng wanted to use Huang Hao to establish a force, but he later found it unsuitable because Huang Hao and his team were a guard escort, constantly on the move with no fixed residence, except for basic rest.

”Sure enough, the simplest method is still to use force to resolve things.”

After thinking for a long time, Lin Feng ultimately decided that building a force with his fists would be more comfortable.

He could find a few famous experts and kill them. Wouldn’t that establish his reputation?

At that time, there would definitely be those who disagreed and came looking for trouble, and then he would kill one after another. Over time, he would naturally become famous.

”Hmm, that’s what I’ll do! Let me think, who should I start with first.....”

According to Huang Hao and the Captain’s memories, there were two particularly powerful experts in the Scorpion Dynasty, but both of them held positions in the army.

Lin Feng didn’t know where they were currently located.

This was a real headache for him.

”Diviner Sir, my employer heard that you helped protect his goods and wishes to meet you. Is that convenient?”

At this moment, Huang Hao returned from the trading company and saw Lin Feng standing by the roadside.

”Hmm, yes.”

Lin Feng responded without thinking. The employer, he presumed, must be the trading company boss, right?

He probably had some connections, so asking him to help inquire about the whereabouts of those two Scorpion Dynasty generals shouldn’t be a problem.

Huang Hao also seemed very happy. After all, Diviners were generally very aloof and rarely spoke to them.

Soon, Lin Feng was led into a particularly grand courtyard.

Many goods were placed in the courtyard, which seemed to have just been unloaded.

”Diviner Sir, that’s our employer.”

Huang Hao pointed to the short man who was checking accounts with a ledger.

”Boss Kola, the Diviner Sir has arrived.”

As Huang Hao’s voice came, Boss Kola also raised his head, wanting to properly thank the Diviner.

However, when his gaze fell upon Lin Feng, he instantly froze.

”Lin, Lin Feng?!”

Kola stared blankly at the person who had rescued him from the Infinite Space, his eyes filled with gratitude.

”Ah? You... Kola??”

Lin Feng was stunned for a moment. He was about to ask how he knew him when he suddenly felt that the boss of this trading company looked familiar. Coupled with the surname Kola, he immediately thought of Kola.

To be honest, if he hadn’t found any information about Floor Merchants in the memories he extracted from Huang Hao and the Captain, Lin Feng would have thought this world was the Floor Merchant’s hometown the first time he saw the natives of this world.

It was only because he hadn’t extracted any memories in that regard later that Lin Feng didn’t think much of it.

”That’s right! Haha, Benefactor, you can still recognize me!”

Kola casually tossed the ledger to his attendant and then quickly ran to Lin Feng with his short legs.

Huang Hao and the guard team members were very surprised to see that Lin Feng not only knew their employer but also seemed to have an unusual relationship with him.

After all, their employer was not just any ordinary trading company boss; he was the boss of a trading company that could freely trade between the five dynasties!

Seeing this situation, they were also very sensible and did not disturb them, silently leaving the courtyard.

”You’re really Kola?”

Lin Feng scrutinized the man in front of him. His height was indeed not much different from Kola’s.

It was just that his voice wasn’t very loud. As for his face, he hadn’t seen it before.

”That’s right, I am the genuine Kola, the Cursed Merchant of the Infinite Space.”

Kola said, then gestured for Lin Feng to come inside and sit down.

”I never thought I would meet my Benefactor here. I originally thought we would never see each other again. Oh, right, you must have been randomly teleported here, right? How many days can you stay?”

Kola poured Lin Feng a cup of fruit tea and asked.

”I also successfully escaped the Infinite Space and returned to my hometown, but my hometown is connected to this world, and I stumbled in.”

”So that silver coin was the item that removed the curse from you?”
