Capítulo 1174: Chapter 1208: Lin Zifeng’s Major Decision

Early the next morning, Lin Zifeng received the news that Huo Lianqin had been killed.

Upon receiving this news, Lin Zifeng was shocked. He never imagined Huo Lianqin would be murdered! But in a way, this matter was settled. Lin Zifeng didn’t want to bring it up in front of Zhang Mengjie either, after all, the death of her sister wasn’t Zhang Mengjie’s intention.

From the garage elevator to the chairman’s office, Zhang Mengjie approached warmly, and in the office, her sister Zhang Yuxuan was standing nearby.

“What urgent matter required me to come over so early?” Lin Zifeng asked. However, seeing the smile on Zhang Yuxuan’s face, Lin Zifeng seemed to have guessed something.

“I want to discuss something with you today.” Zhang Mengjie said mysteriously, but she didn’t mention the news of Huo Lianqin’s death. Lin Zifeng surely already knew about it. There was no need for her to say it again.

“What is it?” Lin Zifeng looked at the two of them curiously, sensing a hint of mischief from Zhang Yuxuan’s strange smile.

“The Butterfly Gang has been disbanded by me.” Zhang Mengjie said casually.

As if disbanding the Butterfly Gang was as simple as eating or drinking for her.

“Disband the Butterfly Gang?” Lin Zifeng was briefly confused and hurriedly asked, “Why?”

“To establish the intelligence for the Nantian Gang.”

“Are you saying you disbanded the Butterfly Gang to establish the intelligence for the Nantian Gang?” Lin Zifeng gasped, feeling a little pained. Zhang Mengjie’s steps to rise were faster-paced than he had imagined.

“Yes. The Butterfly Gang’s position in the Nantian Gang was awkward and useless. If it were merely a subsidiary under the Nantian Gang, it wouldn’t be fair to the sisters of the Butterfly Gang.”

Through Huo Lianqin’s stubborn betrayal, Zhang Mengjie realized that what the sisters of the Butterfly Gang wanted might not be this awkward position.

Since Zhang Mengjie joined the upper echelons of the Nantian Gang, her management of the Butterfly Gang had almost always been unaware; she simply had no energy to manage it.

Moreover, the Butterfly Gang in Zhonghai was only a subordinate of the Nantian Gang, essentially a mistress position, neither the main wife nor legitimate. This made all the sisters of the Butterfly Gang feel uneasy. If one day Zhang Mengjie left the Butterfly Gang, then all the sisters could truly become wandering spirits.

In reason and emotion, Huo Lianqin was a representative figure. Since she had an assassination mentality today, over time, the sisters of the Butterfly Gang would surely revolt against the Nantian Gang again.

It would be better to fully incorporate the Butterfly Gang into the Nantian Gang, giving them an official status, wouldn’t it be better?

Lin Zifeng nodded, he could understand Zhang Mengjie’s purpose because his thoughts aligned with hers.

“Alright, since you already have this idea, you can just go ahead and do it.” Lin Zifeng paused for two seconds, Zhang Mengjie’s words reminded him. Now that the Nantian Gang has already been established, shouldn’t those brothers who followed him also be given official status?

With Huo Lianqin’s betrayal, once the Nantian Gang truly grows, conflicts with Huo Zhengfeng, Mo Zhou, Shuobude, and Hua Tiandu might arise.

“Well then, since you agree, Lin Shao, I will be bold. I decided to break up the original Butterfly Gang and form the newly established ‘Intelligence’ for the Nantian Gang. They will be called Intelligence Agents from now on!”

“Intelligence Agents?” Lin Zifeng said twice, and it did sound a bit like those beautiful agents from the movies.

The Zhang sisters exchanged a glance, their eyes revealing traces of excitement. The awkward situation of the Butterfly Gang could finally be resolved.

In the afternoon, Lin Zifeng specially convened a meeting with all the top brass of the Nantian Gang.

At the meeting, all the higher-ups of the Nantian Gang looked at each other, unsure of the reason for Lin Zifeng’s urgent summons this time.

Seeing Black Hawk and Bu Chen’s puzzled expressions, Lin Zifeng smiled and said, “Let’s discuss something.”

“Lin Ge, just tell us what’s on your mind. We’ve been waiting for a while,” Black Hawk said.

“Alright, I’ll keep it short.” Lin Zifeng nodded satisfied, “Now that the Nantian Gang is steady, I decided to talk to you about the future direction of the Nantian Gang.”

“Whatever you say, Lin Shao, is what it is. I, Mo Zhou, have no other thoughts. As long as I can expand the territory with you, it’s worth living,” Mo Zhou nodded and said, showing his straightforward nature.

“I’ve been thinking about many things these days. Although the current situation sees the Nantian Gang growing rapidly, it doesn’t mean that the Nantian Gang will not progress in the future, so I plan to restructure the internal divisions of the Nantian Gang. Currently, the Martial Arts Society has 108 members, with Black Hawk and Bu Chen responsible for the Hidden Kill members of the Thirty-Six Heavenly Gang. Huo Zhengfeng and Shuobude control the Ming Zhan members of the Seventy-two Earthly Fiends. From now on, the Martial Arts Society will be divided into ‘Hidden Kill’ and ‘Ming Zhan’ factions. Moreover, Hua Tiandu and Mo Zhou, you two will be responsible for selecting skilled Kung Fu members from the Nantian Gang to form a new ‘Martial Arts Society’.”

Lin Zifeng explained in detail.

“Will Hidden Kill and Ming Zhan still be considered members of the Martial Arts Society?”

Black Hawk frowned, although Lin Ge’s division made sense and was made for future considerations, the 108 members of the Martial Arts Society now being called Hidden Kill and Ming Zhan seemed to have departed from the original society, leaving Black Hawk emotionally attached to the old structure.

“Of course! Hidden Kill and Ming Zhan are still part of the Martial Arts Society. Naturally, the tasks they undertake will be more dangerous than those of the original Martial Arts Society.”

Back when Lin Zifeng established the Martial Arts Society, he had considered this. With the rise of Nantian Gang’s momentum, relying solely on the 108 members’ strength was far from sufficient.

So he decided to divide the Martial Arts Society, creating two special factions, Hidden Kill and Ming Zhan.

And then to rebuild the Martial Arts Society, cultivating a new group of loyal members to the Nantian Gang, such a division of areas indeed bears far-reaching significance for the Nantian Gang. More importantly, Lin Zifeng had ambitions. The more factions there are, the greater the competition between them, and the stronger the cohesion of the Nantian Gang.

“Also, the Butterfly Gang has been disbanded, and the Nantian Gang will add another department. Intelligence, handled by the sisters from the Butterfly Gang. As for Shao Huo…” Lin Zifeng hesitated when mentioning Shao Huo.

Upon hearing Lin Zifeng call his name, Shao Huo immediately put on a firm expression, fearing that Lin Zifeng would forget him, leaving him without work, which would be disastrous.

“Shao Huo will be responsible for all the sects under the Nantian Gang,” Lin Zifeng said.

It’s worth noting that the small-time punks under the Nantian Gang’s Black Sect now number over 100,000! If those on the fringes are included, that number could reach over 300,000!!!

The entire Zhonghai has completely fallen under the Nantian Gang, which gives one an idea of how many thuggish henchmen reside in the four major districts.

“Great! I will not disappoint Lin Ge’s trust!” Clearly, Shao Huo was very satisfied, as his cultivation strength was the weakest among everyone there. Occupying his current position was the best he could do.

Current power division in the Nantian Gang:

Black Hawk and Bu Chen are in charge of ‘Hidden Kill’ of the Thirty-Six Heavenly Gang.

Huo Zhengfeng and Shuobude are in charge of ‘Ming Zhan’ of the Seventy-two Earthly Fiends.

Hua Tiandu and Mo Zhou are in charge of the ‘Martial Arts Society.’

Shao Huo is responsible for over 100,000 outer sect members of the Nantian Gang!

Zhang Yuxuan is responsible for the intelligence of the Nantian Gang (formerly the Butterfly Gang).

Zhang Mengjie is in charge of the operations of the Huayu Group.

What will happen next? Stay tuned. You should be able to understand Lin Zifeng’s intentions by now, right?
